According to Nielsen Korea, the K-drama "Brain Works" secured a nationwide viewership of 3.9% on January 9 and 3.3% on January 10. Its average rating for this week is 3.6%. 

The drama secured an average viewership of 4.65 in its first week of airing. But despite the plummeting ratings back home, the show seems to be popular among the international audience as Google Trends shows a breakout for the series.

"Brain Works" airs every Monday and Tuesday. It is available to watch on Viki. 

"Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2" will premiere today (January 11). The story picks up from where it left off in season 1. 

After his involvement in a conspiracy, Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) loses his job as a physician in the palace. He then settles in Gyesu, where he meets Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Kye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung), who help him become a better human being and a "real" doctor. Apart from healing the body, Poong also learns to heal his patients emotionally and mentally. 

With his refined set of skills, he must now encounter new challenges on the quest for his betterment and those of others around him.

Season 2 of the show will introduce the new characters of Woo Da Vi as Lee Seo Yi (The King's sister, Joseon's princess, Poong's first love) and Kang Young Seok as Jeon Kang Il (a physician in the Royal Clinic), among others. The tvN drama is reported to air ten episodes.
