"Alchemy of Souls" Episodes 17 & 18 will not air next week!

Next week's episodes of "Alchemy of Souls" will be postponed. 

On August 4, a representative from tvN shared that the upcoming 17 and 18th episodes of "Alchemy of Souls" will not air on the expected dates. According to them, the production decided to postpone the airing of the upcoming two episodes to improve the final version of the episodes. Instead, tvN will be airing highlights and special episodes next week. 

"Alchemy of Souls" is a fantasy romance that depicts the journey of people whose fate has been twisted after facing "hwanhonsool" (the soul of the dead return to the living).

The drama started airing in June 2022. For this week, episodes 15 and 16 will air as usual. The series will have a total of 20 episodes and there will be a second part of "Alchemy of Souls" which is already being filmed. 

The series is led by Lee Jae Wook, Jung So Min, NUEST's Hwang Min Hyun, Shin Seung Ho, Yoo Joon Sang, Oh Na Ra, Yoo In Soo, Oh My Girl's Arin, and more. 

"Alchemy of Souls" is the work of director Park Joon Hwa and writers Hong Sisters Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran.

The series airs every Saturday and Sunday. It can be viewed through tvN and the global OTT platform, Netflix.

Meanwhile, the second part "Alchemy of Souls: Part 2" is already confirmed. Most of the actors will return to the sequel, with Do Sang Woo also expected to join the cast.  There are reports that for the sequel, Jung So Min will not return to the series. She will be replaced by Go Yoon Jung who appeared in the first part of the drama with the same character.
