A Stalker's Guide to Park Yoochun

Park Yoo Chun! Since I wasn't a Kdrama fan, I found out about him through Kpop. Then asking for more gender bender manga someone suggested that I go and watch some Korean dramas that are gender benders, and I came across Sunkyunkwan Scandal. This man, that I have fallen head over heels for, is the perfect bait for people who love a guy that can act any role. A funny one, a melodramatic one, even a confused 'gay' guy. I've followed what he does and what he sings ever since Sunkyunkwan Scandal. He makes me want to travel to Korea and mannap him. He can stay in my room and sleep on my bed and eat...*Fanfic appearing*

His dramas make me want to share this beautiful charismatic man with everyone. Now, what has this wonderful actor brought to this Kdrama world? For the fan girls of JYJ or TVXQ (before he left) one (out of many) of the little things he did with his fellow members,

Dangerous Love - Himself

For the shippers of Jaejoong and Yunho this is a must watch.

This one episode is full of fanfiction and tied up Max and Junsu. Yoochun plays a worried friend, and the only one really worried. Max and Junsu go missing after playing a game of American football, Yunho and Jaejoong come across a Fanfic, then poor Yoochun is left to worry about where his fellow band members are.
*This is not a serious drama. For laughing purpose only*

This little special is just what I needed after watching dramas filled with hate and angst. It stars all of the members of TVXQ/DBSK with Micky being worried for his dear band members being LOST.
Also check out Tokyo Holiday, Unforgettable Love, The King's Man, The Uninvited Guest, Finding Lost Time, Vacation, First love, and The Masked Fencer. All he has done with his band members!

To get a little serious about dramas, I loved Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Me being in love with gender benders and all. I absorb every moment of it and as of now, it's the only drama I own and still watch. ;P

Sungkyunkwan Scandal - Lee Sun Joon

Yoochun perfected this drama. It made me want to squeeze him. Yes, squeeze. Not to mention he goes half naked in this. A newly formed actor and yet he still makes a wonderful scene.

Traditional wear? Yes please!

Micky plays stuck up noble and confused scholar, Lee Sun Jun. Having to live in a room with a crazy man and a guy? Lee Sun Jun just wanted to go to school and be like his father. While there he meets pretty boy Kim Yoon Shik, rebel Moon Jae Shin, and playboy Goo Yong Ha. Their differences make for late night fights of where to sleep and feelings that aren't shown. He doesn't want to but eventually becomes friends with all of them. They share sad moments and moments of fear, but it all comes down to whether or not they will survive in this school together.

I love his role. He portrayed the scholar Lee Sun Joon wonderfully. I cried when he did and I laughed as he did. It was just a roller coaster. This might be my FAVORITE drama of all time. Micky made an already wonderful drama amazing.

For people who have more of a taste for something bitter sweet:

Missing You- Han Jung Woo

It was hard to watch this. Hard to see Micky cry in this. So happy when they ended up extending the drama's episodes. Sadly, I barely wanted to watch this. I'm not too big of a fan of melodramas, but Micky changed my mind from the start.

His character gave hope in a sad drama. It's him who brought me out of my comedy phase and into melodramas.

Handsome and mature! *dies*

When watching this I couldn't help but fall even more in love with this protective man. While this love hide and seek was going on between him and his co-star Yoon Eun Hye (whom I love) I wanted to smash their faces together and say, LOVE EACH OTHER!

To sum up this sad romance, Micky, oh Micky, I could burst out into song because of you. *Oh Micky you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind. Hey MICKY*

Rooftop Prince - Lee Kak/Yong Tae Yong

I love having two Micky dramas in one year. This one was a comedy/melodrama. (anyone who watched this will agree) It was rather hard to have a bi-polar year by watching this then Missing you.

Little known fact: Green one was also in Sungkyunkwan Scandal as the petty thief that framed her. Lee Min Ho

Rooftop Prince is a comedy about four men that travel in time to 2012 Seoul so they can solve the mystery of the death of the crown princess. Flashy lights and window wipers amaze them. Their time travel takes them to the front of Park Ha's rooftop apartment. Once there, they have to learn the ways of modern society and learn how to work. Hard at first but they come around and it just so happens that Lee Gak pretends to be someone he isn't so he can get closer to a girl that he believes to be the crown princess reincarnated.

So how many of us thought the power rangers when we saw these goof balls? Long hair and tracksuits may be my new weakness for Micky.

I sat up at 3am on a school night watching this (hiding under my blanket from mom). I didn't even have the strength to put it down and GO TO BED. I stayed up all night and went to school the next day. Was it worth it? Yes. Very much yes. Fell asleep in class thinking of Micky and his three men. Micky gave off a very crown prince like manner. He was full of himself and cute at the same time. It was fun to watch him get use to the modern day uses (such as a toilet) as he jumped several hundred years ahead of his time into a rooftop girls' apartment. Whilst setting things on fire, romance burned. Haha, get it. ;)

Also, side note, if you have a weakness for Asian men in glasses, you will love what Micky looks like in them. Makes my knees jelly.

Needless to say, Micky is a wonderful actor and I do think that his dramas are not powered by the 'idol' power. I think that his acting is great and needs to be shown to many many many people.
Would you love Micky? I'd think so. Many more years to come of dramas. Fighting Micky!

If there is an actor or an actress that is worthy of a Stalker's Guide in your opinion, and you have watched enough dramas of his/hers to prove it, please contact Elisabetta about it.
