The beautiful and multi-talented Park Shin Hye: actress, singer, dancer, and model. Born on February 18, 1990, in Gwangju, South Korea.
Hi guys. Welcome to my official stalkers guide to Park Shin Hye. Every drama I've seen her in so far I have enjoyed which I find pretty hard to do in K-dramas as I have a short attention span. I first came across PSH when I stumbled on the drama Heartstrings. I was mesmerized by her natural beauty and how awkward she was just like me. So let’s begin on a few dramas I've seen her in and enjoyed.
Park made her big screen debut in the movie Evil Twin, a summer horror flick where she had 2 roles: one as the main character and the other as the ghost of the main character's sister who haunts the other sister after her death. Park was extremely happy to act in this movie, because she had always wanted to act in a period setting drama or movie. Park starred as one of the four main characters in Goong S, a spin off (not the sequel) to the wildly successful Goong. The series did not match the success of its original, and received borderline ratings. However, the drama was the most re-watched and replayed series in the first half of 2007 gaining fame after the first run. Park later gained more popularity through the idol drama series You're Beautiful with Jang Geun Suk. The drama made her popular worldwide and the songs "Lovely Day" and "Without Words" sung by her for the You're Beautiful OST made her even more lovable. Her 2011 drama Heartstrings began airing on June 29, 2011. Jung Yong Hwa, a co-star from You're Beautiful, played the male lead opposite her.
The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal; Tae Kyung's voice was hurting. However, the new member, Mi Nam, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Mi Nyu, to stand in for him and pretend that she was her brother. The two of them grew up in an orphanage and Mi Nyu, who was all set to become a nun, agreed to this charade as she didn't want to spoil her brother's chance of fame which would make it easier to look for their mother.
Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is the vocalist of the band "The Stupid" and also plays the guitar. He is known for his good looks and his strong passion for music, but is in reality a cold person who is uninterested in non-music related things and has no dreams nor plans for the future. Shin initially likes a dance professor at his university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won. Lee Kyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age, and his biggest wish is to have his granddaughter trained to become a traditional music prodigy in 10 years' time. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing besides traditional music. As Kyu Won's friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.
A peaceful Joseon village is disturbed by the sudden awakening of So-Yeon, a young lady who has been in a coma after surviving a drowning accident 10 years before. But So-Yeon's identical twin sister Hyo-Jin, who also fell into the lake, was not so fortunate. Unable to rest in peace, Hyo-Jin returns as a phantom and a series of unnatural deaths ensues. Eerie weeping sounds presage the appearance of the "han" or grudge-ridden ghost, who takes one victim after another.
A father, who is mentally handicapped, but loves his daughter very much, is falsely accused of a crime and sent to prison. Later, his daughter Ye Seung, who is a law school student, works to prove his innocence.

Where it all began
Park's fame came when she played the younger version of the character Han Jung-Suh in the popular Korean drama Stairway to Heaven. She also starred in a drama series called Tree of Heaven, which aired on SBS, starring her former co-star in Stairway to Heaven, Lee Wan. Through her roles and their requirements, Park has displayed an instinctive talent for dancing and martial arts. She has also released a digital single, "Prayer", a song she sang in the drama Tree of Heaven. However, the track was not released on the official OST.Park made her big screen debut in the movie Evil Twin, a summer horror flick where she had 2 roles: one as the main character and the other as the ghost of the main character's sister who haunts the other sister after her death. Stairway To Heaven (2003)
The relationship of childhood sweethearts Cha Song Joo and Hang Jung Suh becomes complicated when Jung Suh's father remarries. Along with a new stepmother, Jung Suh also has a new introverted stepbrother, Han Tae Hwa, and a scheming stepsister, Han Yuri. Gradually, Tae Hwa falls in love with kind-hearted Jung Suh, and Yuri decides to pursue Song Joo. Nothing can shake the bond between Jung Suh and Song Joo, however, not even Song Joo's departure to study abroad in America. On the night of his return, however, Jung Suh is mysteriously hit by a car and believed dead. Having lost her memory in the crash, she is taken in by Tae Hwa, who relocates and gives her another name. Five years later, on the eve of his engagement to Yuri, Song Joo sees someone who looks exactly like his lost love Jung Suh.A beautiful melodrama about childhood sweethearts and PSH's debuting drama. She did an amazing job portraying Hang Jung Suh and got rave reviews from the critics. If you want to cry and literally scream at the TV this is the drama for you.

I was drawn to this drama because a cross-dressing lady I've heard of men but never a girl. So I brought it upon myself to watch it and see what the fuss was about. It was amazing. PSH nailed the role, and she had such a beautiful angelic voice. You also can’t forget the handsome cast. Her naivety did start to grate on my nerves after a while, and I really wanted her to get some backbone. But overall I loved the drama.

This was my very first K-drama. I’m a romantic at heart and this drama synopsis drew me in. I was hooked from the first episode. PSH and JYH have great on-screen chemistry. Even though the storyline was weak, I thought the main characters & supporting characters did best with what they had.

I’m not good with horror but didn't find this scary. I watched this as I wanted to see PSH in a different genre as she always seems to play the same type of character. I was surprised at this horror movie. It wasn't your typical horror movie which was great and the ending was brilliant.
A father, who is mentally handicapped, but loves his daughter very much, is falsely accused of a crime and sent to prison. Later, his daughter Ye Seung, who is a law school student, works to prove his innocence.
I really enjoyed this movie. I was expecting a pure based comedy movie, but boy was I wrong. It was more than that and a beautiful relationship between father and daughter. Not only that but the father also has mental disability when Ye Seung’s father is charged for a crime he didn’t commit she goes to law school to prove his innocence. PSH role was lovely in this the love she has for her father while trying to prove his innocence, this film made me cry a little it was sweet it also made me think about my parents if any of them ever accused f something I did and how I would fight for them.
Now I know I’m going to get some hate for this but when I first read about FBND, I was excited and couldn’t wait to watch it was promising and the start quirky sweet alt like the indie films I love. However as the story progressed it’s as if the writers were in a slum and didn’t know what to do it started to drag repetitive and predictable the drama did have its cute moments but it wasn’t my favourite of PSH as much as I love her but please I recommend watching it.
As much as I love PSH I would love to see her in a role that is completely out of her comfort zone maybe someone who is strong.
Thanks guys for reading :)
