Lets see, where do I start with this one. The plot, started off slow at first definitely didn't draw me in but, once you actually get further into the movie the plot starts to pick up. As someone interested in becoming a psychologist the whole hypnosis thing drew me in since, hypnosis is something a lot of people do experience in their daily lives. The hypnosis in this movie reveals what it is like to experience hypnosis. The acting was great, especially Karen Moks, I've never seen her before but she really caught my attention in this movie. She played her role perfectly and I can sure tell you no one else could've pulled it off like she did in this movie. The music was okay, wasn't necessarily much just your typical suspense music of course. Don't rewatch this movie 100% though, because you'll already know everything and it won't be as suspenseful as it is your first time watching.
A woman with a seemingly troubled past gets referred to an amazing therapist who likes to hypnotise his patients to deal with their issues. There appears to be something dark hidden in her past that she has buried in her subconscious which the doctor must unravel, but will his secrets be unravelled too?! This starts out as a run-of-the-mill psychological thriller, gets super confusing mid-way through & ends with some fantastic twists & turns you wont see coming. It gave me a slight 'The Sixth Sense' vibe. It's a very good film which I would definitely watch again.
Hypnosis is something I don't understand, but I felt that what happened in the movie is similar to how it could be in real life. They showed what the people went through during it and it was honestly amazing. The effects were really cool and I liked all the details they put in it. The acting was good and the story was good, but it was a bit hard to get through. It started off pretty good, but I couldn't really ever get really into it. I rated it so high, because of how well made it is and how beautifully the scenes were made.
