"Revenge of Others" and "Pyramid Game" share thematic similarities, particularly in their high school settings and exploration of serious themes. Here's how they align:

1. **High School Setting**:
- Both dramas take place in high schools, providing a backdrop for their intense narratives ¹².
- In "Revenge of Others," the story revolves around Ok Chan Mi and Ji Soo Heon, who seek revenge and justice within their school environment .
- "Pyramid Game" focuses on a group of high school students entangled in a dangerous ranking game that leads to violence .

2. **Themes of Violence and Struggle**:
- "Revenge of Others" delves into bullying, revenge, and survival .
- Similarly, "Pyramid Game" portrays psychological warfare among students as they play a popularity voting game to avoid becoming targets of violence.

While their execution and specific plots differ, both dramas engage viewers with intense situations and character-driven stories.

"To.Two" and "Pyramid Game" have different plots, but they have similar concept about social hierarchy in school where the students are divided with barriers that gives them conflict with each other and shows various problems in school due to it. "To.Two" uses tickets for a social media app while "Pyramid Game" uses popularity poll for a ranking system.

Similar aspects of a popularity contest being organized by the unlikely villain and being used as a basis for bullying and unfair treatment. The villain has almost everyone under their control and wants to be the center of attention.

Differences - high school ( Pyramid Game) College ( Beauty Newbie)
- Beauty Newbie has other side stories ( romance, family drama) besides the main plot.
-Beauty Newbie (being Thai) it's less intense/violent/cruel.

the plot line sounds the same and I first thought the Japanese version was the prequel but its actually adapted from manga and the Korean one is from a webtoon.

There aren't many things similar between these two but pyramid game definitely gave me sky castle vibes
Some of the scenes take place at school
There's a lot of pressure from the parents
The students kinda have to go against each other but some relationships are formed

Unconscious after a car accident, university student Chun Yu and her best friend Qing You mysteriously find themselves inside the dangerous world of a VR game. Several other people have also unwittingly ended up here, and they soon discover they were all involved in the accident - except for substitute teacher Gao Xuan, who claims to have simply fallen asleep. Seeing no other option than to play the game, they eventually beat the level and wake up ... only to immediately return the next night. Faced with deadly monsters, puzzles, and mind games, the players have to learn to cooperate despite being unsure if they can trust each other. The pressure increases when it turns out that people who die in the game fall into a coma in real life. And then several more students are dragged into the game! The group spends their nights trying to survive the next level and their days investigating who is doing this to them and why. As they grow closer, friendships and budding romances are repeatedly put to the test by the stress of the situation and the evil machinations of the people behind the game...

Both about schoool bullying. Both also depict victims, perpetrators, and bystanders. Kang Na Eon was on both shows.

They're both centered around a relationship between two girls and they're both dark high school dramas with plenty of ambiguous characters and some twisted depictions of love. Pyramid Game falls into less harmful stereotypes and Soshite is more explicitly queer but fans of one would enjoy the other
