Now I know I'm not done but come on this drama. So far this is so good. It's not the most original or creative but its so good. M

The main I guess "couple" Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi have the best chemistry and gurlll they so handsome, the visual are literally killing me.

I'm pretty sure based on what I've been reading there are gonna be more couples. You know actually I'm not sure, so don't take my word for and watch.

Also the side characters are serving their purpose. So far really good show and they keep leaving us with them darn cliff hangers making me wish it was already Friday. Yall should really watch this, and I'll probably review it when its done.

Plus the ost is really good.

The best drama ever

Hands down one of the best drama ever . The actors are freaking attractive and talented .
I like the plot ,the acting basically everything about this drama . I'm kinda surprised it is so underrated compared to how good this drama actually is .


Also i find YU's Chinese accent so cute. Also i find it so adorable and whipped when he speaks Japanese in between the scenes . Also Gao Shi De is such a gentleman I'm melting .

This drama is so good that i kept recommending to my friend circle. My early 2021 is saved because of this drama .....I eagerly wait for the episodes every week

It’s my first time write a review but I need to say something tho,it’s wonderful drama I give 10 to everything if a could I give 10000 the main couple they are perfect for each other.they start friends and then became rivals to lovers Good I watch this so many times I wish have more episodes and more bigger the way shu yi fall in love with shi de it was so beautiful I recommend everyone see this drama and we have 2 season to watch and comes the 3 season I’m so happy I think I’m little crazy about these two well I don’t know what to say but please watch it it’s so word it

excellent chemistry/tension

Overall: the leads really brought it in this university series. 6 episodes about 25 minutes each. What I Liked
- sweet moments
- funny moments
- intimacy/chemistry
- that bridge scene was amazing
- supportive friends, the sassy cousin and the mom
- a non cliche female character
- attention to props (rainbow books in the library, the skeleton that changes positions)
- character styling
- music (the actor YU who played Zhou Shu Yi sang the OST "Blue Lover"; the bartender in episode 6 was Alex Chou who was a lead in My Tooth Your Love and also sang "Hard To Let Go" in We Best Love)

Room For Improvement
- starting with a flash forward/montage for the episodes
- cliche leg cramp scenario
- multiple stupid "plans"
- needed more screen time with the 2nd m/m couple

Even if it's the usual school youth romance, the execution is good and it made the series relatable

This series definitely did not disappoint me.. After watching all of the History franchise, I'm glad that this series did not disappoint me. With its relatable characters, one can appreciate the blooming romance of Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi.

Apart from the relatable characters and good pacing of the story, the series also has a good production as well as soundtracks that have meaningful lyrics. We also have a solid cast - the main actors were able to portray the expressions of their characters well and their sweet moments in the series are also wholesome.

Furthermore, we get to see the progress and development of the relationship of the couple. It's not the typical fast paced in which they immediately fall in love at the 1st episode or scene which gives this series a plus point for me. While it only had a short running time per episode (20-30 mins at best), at least there were plot and character development. Kudos to the production team, actors as well as everyone who were involved into making this series.

In conclusion, this series definitely is a highly recommend watch for me and it deserves more recognition. With its relatable plot and characters, one can be entertained in watching this series. Eventhough, the series ends with a cliff hanger, there's a sequel for this and it's also complete so it will definitely not leave the viewer / audience hanging. Enjoy watching.. :)

Life Changing Drama

I highly recommend this drama! I have rewatched the first season four times now and the third time was with a friend. I literally convinced my friend to watch this with me because it was THAT good. Honestly I titled this review as life changing because I was never one to watch BL dramas since it usually has awkward acting. However, this drama actually made me realize there can be good BL dramas out there and this is one of them!

Reasons to love and watch this:
1) The nostalgia of pinning and chasing after your first love is expressed in this drama so perfectly. As Sam (Gao Shi De's actor) said in an interview, "Viewers had commented they like the drama because of the feelings it reminds them of pursuing someone romantically".
2) It is SUPER wholesome and sweet. The actors have a lovely bond and connection with one another and they even said in a magazine interview they would flirt off-screen to get used to their characters! Now that's true dedication and passion.
3) If you love enemies to lovers troupes, then this will definitely be your cup of tea.

Please give this series a try and I hope you will love it as much as I did!

How good should a series be? WBL: Yes.

I don't know why this series is sooo good. I love everything about it. The story is a typical enemies to lovers story but it was still goood. I loved how much Shuyi changed after knowing he is in love with Shide. I loved seeing both so in love. I was so sad that it has just a few episode but i enjoyed every episode, every minute, every second. It was short but i never had the feeling that they did everything fast. It was just so good.

And can we talk about Yu? Like seriously i am so in love with him like byE. I love his personality so so so much and HIS VOICE!!

I absolutely LOVE SamYu's chemistry and i really really can't wait for season 3 and i hope they didn't forget it because i heard they still work on it. I hope it is gonna work i really wanna see moree.

imma sue every single person who's gonna tell me that this is not one of the BEST bl drama that ever existed!
first of all - THE BOND between SamYU. oh. my. lord. their chemistry is insane, you just look at them and you're in love.
plot wasn't exactly 100% good, there were some cheesy, some rushed moments, but their love and connection was so wonderful, i kinda didn't care much about it.
i already rewatched it twice and im planning to watch it at least once in a month. this is how much i loved it.
but i have to say one thing tho, that i don't like and i'll never be okay with this. episodes are too damn short and seasons have just 6 episodes. yall expect me to be okay with this? NO.

Esse é o Hidden Love dos BL. Daquele que dá vontade de assistir várias vezes! História de amor linda, sensível e protagonistas com ótimas atuações! Sam e Yu estavam muito bem! A sensação era que eu estava dentro da história sentindo o mesmo que eles de tão verdadeira a atuação. Gostei muito das duas temporadas.

Já assisti vários dramas BL, mas a história e as atuações de Sam e Yu realmente me cativaram. Eles conseguem retratar cada emoção com tanta profundidade apenas com os olhos. Consegui sentir o amor, o cuidado a raiva, a dor, o pertencimento, o arrependimento de cada emoção pelos olhos deles. A cena da bebedeira da segunda temporada é uma das mais lindas e uma com as melhores atuações que já vi nos dramas de todos os gêneros. Sam dedicou todo o seu coração em sua atuação e nós, o público, sentimos, recebemos e amamos! Tantas emoções em uma cena, amor, tristeza, saudade, dor, arrependimento, raiva, imploração. Não dá para explicar, tem que ver e sentir.

O que adoro neste drama é que ele não tem aquela pegada de luxúria. Ao mesmo tempo, tem cenas muito boas de beijo. Tem um equilíbrio muito bom, profundidade e maturidade. Mesmo a cena de beijo mais quente e forte, é tão profundamente emocional e íntima que apesar de ser uma cena quente, o que realmente sentimos não foi o tesão dos personagens, mas a dor, o desespero, a mágoa e a saudade de ambos.

Ja perdi as contas da quantidade de vezes que revi esse drama. A química deles é tão insana que posso sentir o amor sincero deles da maneira mais natural sentadinha no meu sofá!

Em relação a temporada 2 eles poderiam ter explorado menos o casal de médicos e dado mais tempo de tela para o casal principal. Senti falta de ver mais cenas deles juntos depois que se reaproximaram.

Esse drama BL é simplesmente apaixonante, envolvente e inesquecível! OST PERFEITA!!

Lighthearted and funny

Not much else to say. I'd already watched this one, but idk why I didn't post a review back then - so here it is.

I love the acting in this. It looks so natural. The chemistry is great (always important) and I was smiling ear to ear whenever the main characters interacted (even the two friends, they were so cutee). They all look like they're having a blast when they're together.
It's also quite funny - I found myself actually laughing at some scenes (which doesn't really happen), which earned this series brownie points. Gao Shi De's mom was hilarious, I love herr, how she was teasing Zhou Shu Yi for being overly formal with her.

The story is basic, though. If you really think about it, there's not much going on outside their romance. The doctor-cousin was a weird character in general, he made me uncomfortable with how touchy-feely he was with his PATIENTS (who, mind you, are significantly younger than him). He was also quite aggressive for a doctor, like he was very careless when handling injured students.
Also, I think Shu Yi went from 'I cannot fall for a man' to screaming 'I like Gao Shi De' at the top of his lungs in the span of... what? A week? Idk, it felt a little bit too fast for me. We didn't even see him feel conflicted or anything.
And finally, we should address the MC's tendency to try to drown himself - can someone ban him from going anywhere near a swimming pool?? Istg in one single episode he jumped into the pool TWICE, fully clothed, and Gao Shi De had to pull him out.

I know it looks like I didn't enjoy this much lol - but I did. It's mostly vibes, no thoughts, head empty. Just go with the flow when watching this.
