The panelists guess at the answers given by a survey of 50 people. The panelists are allowed to make as many guesses as there are answers. After their allotted number of guesses, a contestant is given an opportunity. They are given 8 chances to guess the correct answers from whatever number of answers that are left unanswered. For each correct answer, they are given $1000 for a total of up to $8000. This episode instituted a new method of guessing at an answer, that of going up to a small cube podium and hitting a buzzer.
