Big Biz duel turn out to be a Big Joke
Chiu Hoi acted by Moses Chan was very good that's why i choose to watch it.But the character displays him as some sort of a saint with ever forgiveness to all the enemies.
The first 10 to 15 episodes seem acceptable but until the uncle committed so many crimes, the best part is the kidnapping of Sung Kiu. Everyone knows kidnapping is a very serious crimes and most likely gets death penalty if was caught. But the evil uncle to dare to play terms with Chiu Hoi. The story start to make no sense.
The worst part is the Secretary of chiu hoi drugged him and the video was provided by the mastermind Ting from SME. who will be so stupid to release the video while she was working under her instructions, didn't know it will be held backfired by To ming?
Chiu hoi spend so much time and affort to defeat competitors and in the end, they work together for fuck?
The strategic plot don't make sense, only the story of fong fong make me stay to watch.

Good story arc of the journey of a courier giant, spoiled by some bad plot development
Overall plot is pretty good, except for many plot holes (specifically how things work in business, finance and legal sense). Some of the things just don't make sense, it's probably fine for those that aren't well-versed with how things ACTUALLY work in real life but to those in the know — it definitely spoiled the drama by making it feel like a joke and made me feel like the script writers are just not well-researched to write good script. Also, are the rest of the board of directors stupid?Acting is pretty good, haven't watched TVB dramas for a while but this is probably better ones among those i remember.
The main song title "the bars are closed....." is repeated so often sometimes not even suitable for the scenes, it became so sickening halfway through the series i couldn't take it and just mute the volume whenever it comes up. Other background music are not too bad.

Boring. How is a Moses Chan drama boring?
I won’t write too much as many have already spoken about this but I can tell you now this drama was so boring. Predictable and boring. And when it tries to get interesting, it made no sense like what? My goodness, I like Shaun Tam and the tone of his voice can be ASMR soothing but he was just annoying af here. Moses is also portrayed as some sort of single minded businessman with a lot of ambition, but was too forgiving for his own good. He also got annoying to watch. Best actor was Katy Kung, but that’s not saying much I mean she was surrounded by mediocrity. But the biggest sin of the drama? They took a classic musical piece Vivaldi’a Four Seasons: Winter - particularly the Allegro non molto movement - and put lyrics in it! Why? Why do that? The lyrics were terrible and I swear the timing was a little off as well! They could have left the lyrics out and it would have been fine but no, now all I hear when I listen to Winter is 續… 好… 戲! Damn it TVB! You ruined a classic!

The 强人 feel is back.
After 10 episodes, here are my thoughts about 企业强人. I have not had the greatest history with the whole 强人 series as I felt it was too political for my liking. Big White Duel 1 and 2 all followed the same theme and were pretty decent although I can't say the same for 破毒强人. Thankfully, the political theme has returned. The show is mostly ok although certain parts of the transition between plots are a little messy. The acting was impressive from all characters except Shaun Tam who plays 徐道明. I know his character isn't meant to have a lot of emotions but seeing how well Moses Chan acted, I think he could have done much better. Moses, I feel has a great chance to win Best Actor again this year.
Will update more after I finish the show.
Update: Man I don’t know what to think. Firstly, Shaun Tam honestly, I don’t know how he ever won Best Actor because he is so goddamn annoying in this show. Its like he can only be an annoying idiot or an emotionless shell. Secondly, Katy Kung is brilliant. Somehow she’s turned out to be the most impressive of this cast.
I dropped the rating point purely because of Shaun Tam. Also im disappointed with the “argument” between 赵恺 and 道明, not very exciting. On the other hand the death of 方芳 father was shocking although they did not really care much about the emotions here.
Lets see if it can maintain its status as the best, so far, tvb drama of 2024. Although I suspect with 黑色月光 coming out soon, it will not be there for long…
