Yes!!!
Taiwan has done it again (and all without NC scenes - you'd be surprised). Taiwan BL always have some magic - and this series has that too.First of all, the main couple has great chemistry. That's what a good BL series falls or stands for.
And on the whole, all the characters are well decorated and their backgrounds are well explained. Only the amount of couples was too much for me, 12 episodes are simply too little.
Very touching last episode in which the main couple fights for the acceptance of their love by the father.
Worth seeing!

Fell a bit of at the end
Until episode 7 was the story going strong but after, it deflated.Things that annoyed me throughout:
-Nowhere was the trauma again mentioned after later eps, just *poof* magic.
- The bartender and the cringy high schooler were unnecessary like bro? cmon an 18-year-old and an 30-year-old?
- There were way too many people with "love interests" and none of the side ones had really screen time,
and when they did, it was too short and unnecessary.
- In the last two episodes we suddenly find out the father of one of the main leads beats up his son??? and he lets him cuz he wanted him to accept his boyfriend? bro tf. And his boyfriend only finds out about this cuz his mom told him that?? That was way too fast dismissed as if it was "okay" for him to do that.
- Wish we had gotten some backstory on the other main lead and how his family was back then or is now "sooner".
- No further elaboration about the high schooler and his family and problems throughout
the episodes, if the bartender was like 20, that could have been an
interesting side story. Besides the weird forced kisses, like dafuq.
- Highschooler just disappearing for like 4 episodes? "Could we see what's going on, on his side?" Nope.
And only learning whats really going on in like the 12th episode?
Damn, I thought he was getting beat up between the episodes.
Besides that, it was pretty nice. The acting, chemistry,
funny moments, affection, and sweet moments were very good.
Production didn't feel cheap.
Including traumas, phobias, and general mental health in
dramas is rather rare, and it was very well represented.
AND NO other person who's just there to annoy the audience,
and stands between the two because of jealousy or "He's mine blabla" Sick of seeing that. (not counting that senior)
There were more things that slightly annoyed me but, I'll let that slide since it's one of the better bls out there.
Nothing and no one is Perfect. :)

Definitely a real gem in the romantic feel good genre
Very cute and funny Taiwanese romantic drama. A love story between two young adult men, a dentist and a tavern owner/chef. The series also has some depth as it also addresses the problem of getting the parents to accept their love. Definitely a real gem in the romantic feel good genre, worth binge watching on a rainy weekend.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Best Taiwanese BL 2022
This was a joy to watch every single second. I was hooked from the first ep. Everything in this production is so good. The setting, the acting, the writing, characters, story development. While is most series there is some sort of lull in the middle, this one was never boring. Always something to be curious about, always a new surprising scene or development. The actors are on another level. The chemistry is completely natural, like they've been a ship for years. The love radiates off the screen in every action. It's a joy to watch. The natural development of the relationship is another point. Insecurities and obstacles are handled with care and logic in the most romantic way. Inconvenient situations are not shyed away from and the way the biggest argument is portrayed and shot is just.. *chefs kiss*.
The side couples (3 of them!) are not getting all the screentime they deserve, but that's because these also are sooo good. They are all very different, express and experience love in different ways and each of them is great to watch. The way the parents react hurt a lot, especially the father. I hope this is not something that is normal in Taiwan and I did not like the way is was just glanced over and not really addressed. The little dance at the end of the episodes was so cute. I'm really hoping for a second season to give the side couples a chance to blossom and the main cp to solidify their relationship.

Refreshing, quick, and funny
I absolutely LOVED this drama. It was a super quick binge—only took about a day to finish all 12 episodes—and I wish there was a season two.The A couple was SOOOOOO cute. I loved them from the first moment they met, during their flirty moments, and in every encounter they had until the end. For those of you looking for a BL focused on a more mature couple, this is what you should watch. I personally felt like I could relate to each of the things that came up in their relationship.
I discovered this BL on Tiktok and honestly did not have super high expectations. It BLEW me away and I was pleasantly surprised! The humor is great and the cast is stellar. I will definitely rewatch this.
SPOILER: The only thing that would've made it better is more Alex/He Qing content. I loved this B couple and I would love it even more if I could see them grow.

A love story between a Dentist and a Bar Owner
Wow! Where to start , first I will start with the main ship Bai Lang and Xun An it was a beautiful relationship and they were amazing and so cute, I still remember the first episode when Bai Lang was super afraid to go to the dentist and was holding his support marble fell because an earthquake happened and Xun An picked it up for him and then hit his head on the light that helps look at your teeth, but they did meet again often and slowly started to develop feelings for each other that even Bai Lang told Xun An about why he doesn’t like the dentist and his trauma and also for their relationship to be accepted by Xun An’s father he had to deal with a whole lot of pain and got very injured and they got together in the end and even are engaged! The next couple is Alex and RJ they are my favorite couple from this show they met because RJ was going against his parents orders and in order to prove it he kissed Alex and spilled a whole lot of drinks from the bar and then ran away from his problems, but he has no where to live so they hire him at the bar and he can sleep in the supply room. I loved the scene where they were supposed to be cleaning and RJ was writing in a note pad and Alex wanted to see so he was peeking through the window and acted like he didn’t know anything. Also when little RJ pinned Tall Alex to the wall to flirt with him I was screaming.
At the last episode I was going to start crying if Alex didn’t see RJ ever again because he was reading the little note from him. Also Bai Lang’s sister was so pretty in here wedding dress, it was nice to see the relationship with Qi Ran and his son to see a mother image he never had. I also liked Little A’s and the hockey players story and hope that we at least get some type of update on them. I also noticed the wedding scene were they dance was always in the ending credits in each episode. Okay I’m going to stop now, you should Definitely watch this series!

Cute story with minimal angst
Despite a couple of small grievances I have with certain plot points, this was still sweet and a good watch overall. For the most part, it felt very organic and most of it progressed at a pace and direction that made sense. The first three quarters flowed well with the relationship building of all characters and the development of the story overall. One of the aforementioned grievances is in how there was so much emphasis placed on Bai Lang's trauma, to the point where it was the driving force of the entire show, and then once he decided he wanted to pursue XunAn, it's like it suddenly disappeared. Which is kinda too bad because Andy did a great job at conveying how powerless he was against his anxiety, only for his efforts to be completely traded for the bumbling younger guy chasing a serious older man trope.
The other issue I had was with XunAn's parent's storyline. I'm sorry but beating your child who is now a grown man living out on his own is pretty ridiculous. And for the wife to make excuses for him and apologize for him is even worse. If you don't agree with how to raise your child, that is some serious deal breaker. I honestly don't understand the use of this trope where the parents are so at odds with each other and yet they don't separate. How could she live with that guy after he beat her child with a cane? But, anyway, luckily that was only in the last episode and not a recurring thing as I likely would have dropped it otherwise.
I really liked the friendship Bai Lang had with Alex and enjoyed all of their interactions together. They bicker like siblings which made for some hilarious dialogue and then you can see how much they actually care for each other in the more somber moments. I would have liked more time with Alex and RJ's development but I understand they were just a side couple.
Even with the few things I personally didn't care for, I would still recommend this as it was a short and sweet piece full of heart and feels.

The dentist guy won my heart
I give it 9 out of 10 because this series is simply entertaining. All casts are full of pretty boys. Eps 1-3 I mostly felt nothing, I started paying attention to ep 4 and 5. Even though they have inserted Bai Land's backstory, Bai Lang as a character seems to be forced and his whole personality seems not to make sense. The dentist, on other hand, at the beginning his character seems to be boring and one-dimensional but it comes out he's more believable than Bai Lang. So, the dentist guy won my heart so far. He doesn't contain many expressions and manages to be like a real 'dentist.' He shifts little by little to make people love him and be the soul of this series.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Like:+ First of all; watch the ending scenes! They are important and fun.
+ I didn't expect such serious topics, but was positively surprised! They deal with realistic problems in a realistic and authentic way and which episode I fell more and more in love with each character!
+ The dentist team is so funny, lovely and heartwarming, I can't! They are all so so cute. T_T
+ The male leads are totally different, but have a great chemistry. I personally loved their kisses! :x
+ Loved the little habits they developed.
+ The couples are all so lovely and cute. I didn't watch a lot of shows yet, where there were so many couples, so I am not annoyed by it yet. I liked it. (- but it would have been nice to see more from Alex and RJ. RJ is such a cutie!
+ The OST is crazy good! Love love love it!!
+ Pacing was fine! Personally I would have liked the last conflict a little less dragged, but that's just for me, because I'm such an impatient person. I totally understand why they choosed this pace, so it's not really a critical point. And all the other conflicts get solved in a really nice pace! I've never felt bored or frustrated!
+ I got really teary towards the end because after watching them for such a long time (I normally watch dramas which are way shorter) it just felt like I have to say goodbye to some good friends. T_T
Room for improvement:
- Like I said, I would have appreciated it to see more from RJ and Alex. Geez. RJ stole my heart right away. T_T
- The last conflict felt both rushed and dragged. Dragged, because they spent much time to show how Bai Lang feels about it, but rushed because it didn't got the proper resolution on screen, which would have been nice.
Overall I am satisfied and happy with this drama! I would totally recommend it. It's a nice combination out of humour and serious themes. The balance is great and the transition from being a funny, shallow show into a more serious tone was great! While we're getting to know the characters better with each episode, the tone changes and we see under the surface. I really liked it.
I started the show with absolutely zero expectations (because it was my first (well, technically second, but I dropped the very first one) taiwanese drama, after I am slowly running out of k- and j- BL dramas I wanna watch :D) and I am so so happy that I liked the show so much. The story sounds so hilarious and funny, but the show gave me a lot more than just a few laughter. I really like each character and it would be so cool to see more of them!

Great character development
This is a great lighthearted series. I enjoyed the characters but Bai Lang did a fantastic job!! His portrayal of severe anxiety disorder and the inner battle that is sometimes fought due to overthinking, beautiful!!Watching as he and Xun’an’s relationship progresing, Lang eventually letting down his guard and letting him in. I feel his guilt for what happened to his parents had to be such a burden for him. That guilt cause a lot of fear and I could resonate with him as he pushed Xun’an away. I have been there before and Bia Long’s character was everything to me. I loved watching him battle Ye for Xun’an. Bai Lang is fiesty AF and once he had Xun’an, he wasn’t letting him go. LOVED IT!
Getting their happy ending was tough. Xun’an put in a lot of work. Trigger warning tho, there is a case of physical assault between a father and son. In this case, the son was pleading for his boyfriends acceptance since Bai Lang was an orphan and he wanted him to have a complete family. Poor thing endured excessive kneeling and being beaten with a cane for what seems like a month. I was a bit worried that would have triggered an episode from Bai but thankfully it didn’t.
When it comes to the chemistry, I feel as if it started well but fizzled. That’s only due to the kissing being awful. They tried to make it better with angles but towards the end there, they let some awful lip locking be seen in full view…yikes! Don’t get me wrong, they were definitely cute together, and the side couples were just as enjoyable to watch. I really enjoyed I Qi and Alex’s relationship. I was hoping for a bit more but I guess I will just have to settle for Alex’s last flirtatious line.
10/10, would definitely watch again!

This series was unfortunately very very disappointing. :-(
2/10Negative:
1. Too much jabbering in the episodes. Became more and more from Ep. to Ep.....
2. That Jins ex showed up.
3. Bai's constant attacks from his trauma.
4. The Movie implementation wasn´t good. Very disappointing. I was close to falling asleep. I waited all this time for Jin and Bai to finally kiss. Unfortunately, they kissed much late.
5. From episode 8 on, Jin and Bai were walking around so much while they were fighting. I almost fell asleep there too.
6. JxB couldn't even spend the night together because the stupid Handy rings and he had to leave...Very disappointing!!!
7. That nothing more came from Alex and RJ in the finale episode. I would have liked to see them as a couple.
Positive:
1. Maincouple
2. Sidecouple
