A Great Watch
This is my first time writing a review on here, but I felt like I had to write one for this drama. This is one of the best crime-based Japanese dramas I have ever watched. I like the main and side characters throughout the entire story. There weren't any annoying or overpowering female characters in this drama. The Criminal list in this drama kind of reminded me of the character, Raymond Reddington from the tv show, "The Blacklist". The way that Kiriko only spoke with Shimura and worked with the police is the same. This was a great watch and I hope you will enjoy it too.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Visibly well crafted.
Beautiful!! This is the first or maybe a very rare occurrence that I gave a drama such a high rating... TRULY WORTH THE WATCH... Nice production, music, casting, direction, screenplay and that's how we get this product... I will not put this on the levels of some really well-crafted K-dramas I watched BUT... BUT, it is right there somewhere.Towards the end half baked but, when the real REAPER shows up the change in his demeanor and expression... Wow, just wow... The main detective of this story as well.. Great job ???

Worth Crime Drama to Watch
First of all, I'm so excited when they make duo between Takahashi Issei and Shibasaki Kou. The plot with different kind of crime they try to bring out with theme "Invisible" as the main powerhouse crime organization, I'm totally drawn it. You also can see the development character Kiriko and Shimura from Episode 1 to Episode 6 is well written. Besides that, whenever they make appearance in one frame, it looks phenomenal.Even though its not a perfect plot of story, still acceptable since the action, casts, acting, and the flow of story from episode to another episode are great. They make it thoroughly interesting and enjoyable drama. Therefore, I totally recommend you guys to watch this drama ^_^

Predictable but interesting
Second foray into Jap shows so it was an education into their cultural coding. The villain was obvious from the get-go and the male char's machismo was annoying, but female character was fantastic. I hope to see more of these portrayals of a cool and calm woman. And I loved how Kiriko was not sexualised in any way. I appreciated the subtle undercurrent of romance in the series as it becomes obvious early on that Taka highly respects her and starts to care about her welfare more and more. I don't think changing the show to a romance would've worked as it's firmly in the espionage/action type of genre and I'm glad the writers refrained from that. What I found distracting was the soundtrack. I don't know if the music director was aware of it or not but having the ending credit track to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (with Gene Wilder) as Invisible's movie track was weird because of the different time and genre involved. Plus, the track didn't even fit with the overall vibe of Invisible so one wonders why it was that they used it at all. Also, the constant repeat of Taka's traumatic flashback felt like a time filler for the writers in lieu of a real storyline.
Great for one watch but I don't plan to rewatch again.

Oh me, oh my! I found another Japanese drama diamond in the sky!!I usually stay away from Japanese dramas b/c I'm always dropping them. The first episode almost made me do so.
I can't put my finger on how the style went but I liked it. The bad guy working with the police to help solve cold case files was a good angle to go by.
Even though I don't know who none of the actors are I wouldn't mind watching other dramas they've been in. I am familiar with a few but only a few and they played their character well.
It was a very serious drama but there were a few comical moments in there to break up the same tone each episode gave.
I do have a few gripes about the series though.
The hair in the main FL's face was unnerving. The constant flashback of the cop getting his throat sliced...close to the end of the drama it became less but by that time I was already throwing up my 'flashback again'? hands. Last but not least, the soundtrack...I truly hated the female's theme song and then it switched to a male's voice singing the same tune. The loud music being constantly played over the actors voices to the point it nearly drowned them out at times. The music was also played at some of the unnecessary times too.
I know Asian dramas usually stay away from doing more than one series but if they came out with a sequel I would so watch it!

Over the top superhero cop thriller
Great stylish, anarchic, over-the-top, quasi-superhero-cop-thriller with typical Japanese sadistic/horror elements, a cast of hilariously evil characters, great production values and an amazing score. The acting is a mixed bag overall. More than solid J-Drama.Kiriko is such a bad-ass, irritatingly epicene, gorgeous, inspiring heroic villain. The way Shibasaki Ko speaks, soft and muted yet delicately enunciating, absolutely hypnotizes me.
Takahashi Issei, in a slight deviation from his usual acting choices, manages the worn-out toughened-up physicality of this role as well as everything else he has done before, which is to say outstanding.

Another hidden gem by Takahashi Issei
I love the concept of crime coordinator. It's not entirely new but fresh enough comparing to other mystery/thriller show of such. The plot twists are quite good too, even if some parts are expected, it still keeps me surprised, because of the well done acting and execution!I love the mysterious music they always appear when "Invisible" appear. It really heightens up the vibe.
I'm actually here for Takahashi Issei and he didn't disappoint! His acting is really good..
Just wish I could see his smile or laughter which is non-existent in this show lol...
Definitely worth a watch, it's not draggy and really fun to watch. Also love the sidekicks, Ma-kun and Rose.
