The cute school drama I have been looking for

Lately I have been wanting to watch a nice, lighthearted school drama and watching "My School President" definitely hit that mark for me. I felt as if the leads had a good dynamic and chemistry and I loved so many other aspects about this series especially the OST. I do not watch many shows from Thailand and from the ones I have seen, this is by far my favorite. It was super wholesome, an easy watch, the product placement in the show was done very nice compared to other series I have seen.

I do feel as if this show dragged a little bit with underdeveloped side couples and plot was a little weird/unfinished.

Favorite character of the series was the school president, Tinn, played by Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak. I loved his character and how genuine he felt to me with his actions. Seeing him made me smile a lot and I am definitely going to miss this series for him alone.

I LOVED IT!

I don’t usually write reviews/ comments on here, but this show is so amazing I cant stay quiet! I loved it so much, the healthy relationships between all characters made me so happy. The plot was a nice switch from the usual school love story, while still being wholesome. The support Tinn and Gun get from their parents and friends is such a great example. The actors slayed their roles and the music was so good. I’m not sure if the music is actually performed by the actors themselves, but it doesn’t matter. Unlike most Thai drama’s these songs aren’t corny or unlistenable, quite the opposite.

A great show really, highly recommend!

"My School President" è una serie BL che ho trovato molto coinvolgente.

La serie affronta in modo realistico e sensibile le sfide che i due protagonisti devono affrontare nella loro relazione.

Una delle cose che rende questa serie interessante è la chimica tra i due attori principali. La loro interpretazione è convincente e riescono a trasmettere le emozioni dei loro personaggi in modo coinvolgente.

La storia d'amore è ben sviluppata e ti fa provare empatia per i personaggi mentre affrontano le difficoltà e cercano di trovare un equilibrio tra l'amore e gli obblighi scolastici.

Inoltre, la serie affronta anche temi importanti come l'accettazione di sé stessi e degli altri, l'importanza dell'amicizia e la crescita personale. Questi temi vengono affrontati in modo delicato e toccante, offrendo agli spettatori un messaggio positivo e incoraggiante.

Se siete interessati a storie d'amore coinvolgenti e ben interpretate, vi consiglio vivamente di dare un'occhiata a "My School President". Vi garantisco che non rimarrete delusi!

Warmth and warmth ahead.

Oh how lovely it is..

Well yes. My School Prez was a show which reminded me of a 2016 basic when it was announced. when I had so much in, a school BL was a no. until when I was exhausted of my regular crime shows.

I remember I asked a friend when I needed a break, and upon her suggestion I searched it up and okay, we were up for a journey.

Its so simple and pure, a kind you dont usually see. The story leaves a rush of warmth in your heart, and its not just our adorable leads. Its everything around, and its perfect.

This show helps you realise how warm love can be, how precious your friends are, how you should grow within yourself. Its not usual for a drama, its not usual for a drama for you to feel so attached.

If youre as lost as I was and you need a break from the cruel world you live in, go ahead.

It was good!

To begin with, even though the plot might appear cliché, I have to mention that the way it was done was outstanding! The show was enjoyable. The performance of Gemini and Fourth shocked me; their chemistry brought intrigue to the series.

Their on-screen chemistry was so real and sincere that I couldn't help but cheer for them right away. Their slow-burning romance was expertly shown, letting their bond grow organically and elevating each moment they shared.

Let's also discuss the OST! The music was incredibly captivating. The OST gave the show a whole new level of complexity, from the memorable theme songs that I couldn't stop listening to for days especially the songs, You've Got Ma Back and Smile Please. I felt even closer to the plot and the characters as a result.

Even if the plot of My School President is common, what really sets it apart is how it was executed. I strongly advise watching this series if you want sweet romances with well-rounded characters and an engrossing OST. This is a pleasant tour that will make you feel good on the inside.

Would say this would be put on a list of classic high school BL Drama

If this is your first time watching BL drama I would recommend this one. Not only is it easy to follow along and understand, but there is enough love that you will not get bored while watching it. I will say there were times that I felt impatient and wanted more "action," but in the end, it was worth the wait. This drama would be put on a classic high school BL. The chemistry the main leads showed to one another was amazing you could feel the love through the screen. The way they looked at one another would make me get excited and happy. I read a few reviews before watching it and people said that it was not that good or a waste of time to watch but honestly just watch it for yourself and build up your own opinion because everyone doesn't like the same thing at the end of the day. But this is a solid 8/10!

serie meravigliosa

serie meravigliosa, la coppia principale è così adorabile, bella e sana. L'evoluzione del loro rapporto è davvero splendida. Negli episodi iniziali c'è un lento avvicinamento e ogni situazione li avvicina un po' di più. Bellissima in questa fase la scena del selfie, con le loro mani che si cercano timidamente e si toccano con i mignoli incrociati. Ci sono anche scene divertenti, sempre molto simpatiche. Ci sono scene più intime, come ad esempio quando raccontano l'uno all'altro alcune cose molto personali di se stessi, e scene più emotivamente forti, come l'abbraccio davanti all'ospedale o il discorso e l'abbraccio sotto la pioggia nell'ultimo episodio. E poi le scene di semplice tenerezza tra di loro, darsi buffetti, scherzare, sorridere, guardarsi negli occhi. Davvero questa serie sarebbe da guardare anche solo per vedere Tinn e Gun insieme, ma c'è anche molto altro.

Un tema importante all'interno della serie è quello dell'amicizia: i membri del club di musica e Thiu e Tinn. Amici che possono anche discutere e litigare, ma che ci saranno sempre l'uno per l'altro. Malinconico e nostalgico per chi ha passato questa età l'ultimo giorno al liceo e al club della musica, con le aspettative e i sogni di tutti loro che stanno concludendo la fase della loro vita da liceali e stanno per iniziare una nuova fase all'università.

Ho apprezzato tantissimo anche tutte le canzoni che vengono eseguite all'interno dei vari episodi: si tratta di una serie con molte parti musicali, e le canzoni spesso vengono eseguite per intero, quindi se le canzoni piacciono è senz'altro un grande valore aggiunto, se invece non dovessero piacere sarebbe effettivamente un problema perchè il minutaggio dedicato alle parti musicali è importante. A me le canzoni e le esibizioni dei Chinzilla sono piaciute tantissimo, le canzoni sono orecchiabili e i testi contengono bellissime frasi d'amore. E' bellissimo anche vedere i ragazzi suonare e cantare mettendoci dentro passione, impegno e divertimento.

Bello anche lo spazio dedicato alle mamme di Tinn e Gun, così diverse, ma con tanto amore ne confronti dei propri figli, e alcuni spaccati di vita domestica dei genitori di Tinn.

Infine c'è anche un accenno a problemi di omofobia tramite la figura di un insegnante. Il tutto esce un po' fuori dal nulla, perchè non c'era stato nessun accenno al riguardo negli episodi precedenti, ma comunque mi fa sempre piacere che vengano trattate tematiche di questo tipo in una serie BL, a ricordarci che bisogna fare i conti con la realtà, in cui purtroppo esistono ancora problematiche di questo tipo.

Per completezza, ci sono alcune cose che ritengo piccoli difetti, fermo restando che la serie trasmette talmente tante emozioni ed ha una coppia principale talmente bella da far diventare qualsiasi piccolo difetto assolutamente irrilevante. Si tratta di tre cose:

- alcune situazioni molto clichè legate alla vita scolastica;

- Tinn, con l'aiuto anche di Thiu, è sempre troppo pieno di risorse e ha sempre qualche soluzione per aiutare Gun, e questo è sicuramente bello e fa vedere quanto Tinn tenga a Gun e quanto si impegni per aiutarlo, però la stessa dinamica si ripete un po' troppe volte e diventa inverosimile che Tinn abbia tutti questi contatti: Tinn sa dove trovare gli strumenti; Tinn conosce il proprietario di un locale dove suonare dal vivo; Tinn conosce un produttore musicale che può far fare un provino a Gun; ecc.

- la regola insensata del club per cui i membri non possono avere relazioni: purtroppo questa regola ha un ruolo importante all'interno della trama ed è per me il punto più debole dell'intera serie, ma tutto il resto, e soprattutto la coppia protagonista, mi sono piaciuti talmente tanto che passo sopra tranquillamente a quello che in una serie diversa avrei ritenuto un difetto grave.

This drama tell story about "Tinn" Tinnaphob Jirawatthanakul who fall in love with his high school friend "Gun" Guntaphon Wongwitthaya. But the relationship no more than classmate for 2 years. And finally in the last year Tinn with the courage of his friend, "Thiu" Thiuson Sophonpatima, start to put more effort to approach Gun.

This drama also tell story about Gun's relationships with his band member. About their struggle with romance & school. About family relationships, of course Tinn & Gun family. About friendship, failure & fear. And finally about dream after high school...

Oh yeah the soundtrack is also one of tbe best song out there....

What lack of this drama:
- They never really explained to us the relationship of "Sound" Saran & Tinn before. It's like Sound have grudges against Tinn that we don't know what. Maybe we should watch the whole series to understand their relationship....

Overall this one complete package drama with nothing exaggerated more than it's portion.
