Cheer Up and go for this drama
So basically started watching this because i had no other business in life(i do have to go to university)Also another reason it's just been a month that I started University so campus life dramas are kinda what i am searching for.
I love how the story is coming out and also the mystery that this drama holds is quite interesting as well apart from all the love triangles and stuffs.
I love the friendships but also I want the SML to go slow but it's fine I get it.
All over the acting and the plot is great go for this drama if you want a light hearted drama(atleast that is what I thought when i started but it isn't a light hearted one 🙃)

Was not expecting much but was still let down
Cheer Up is soo... infuriating. I watched it till the 7th episode till I couldn't anymore. I hate hate hate FLs who act like that-the constant confused face, drops and loses things all the time, is honestly just ill-mannered and gets passed off as "quirky". The writers gave her the story of a mature, responsible sister who is always looking to make an extra buck but asked her to act like an idiot who doesn't know any better.I know who she is going to end up with and the guy is so uninteresting, I would rather look at a wall instead. Usually, I wait atleast till the 8th episode to decide if a drama is worth it. But here, I am giving up. It's not worth it. This drama is terrible to say the least.

NO CHEMISTRY AT ALL !NO CHOERENT STORY!NOTHING IMPORTANT! WASTE OF TIME!
I was looking for university/friendship/romance genre plots SOwhen you first read the script it may seem simple to watch based on the genre of story (the poor female lead searching for job and the male who lost his first love and they meet in the following story when she makes him remembering her...) BUT unfortunately this is not the right way embodied at all.
The mystery side is not the really one I am feeling, just is not attractive to wonder who is this one behind the threaten for the cheering squad.
I was looking for when there will be something touching in this weird story but can't find something interesting, I am saying this with just first 4 episodes,
AND all of this adding to the deadly silly annoying second male lead Sun Ho (KILLING ME WITH HIS AWFUL CHARACTER) who is bringing the most thing repellent in all this story.
The most funny side he was dumped million times by the first female lead and still sticking by her side like a glue :)
HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AND TITELED AS THE MOST ANNOYING SECOND MALE LEAD
Secondly the cold first male Jung Woo lead which is playing this dull and lifeless role really sucking me, at least he should show some more facial expressions!
The first female lead Hae Yi is over energetic and playing in some ways rightly better than others BUT
when it comes to romance she and the first male lead are like a wall and they are not fitting to each other (the same applying to Hae Yi and Sun Ho)
The second female lead should be not given a main role because I didn't find any importance to have a fourth main lead and she can be added as a plain member of the cheering squad.
All the other characters were not suitable due to the lack of the interesting and attracting elements in story.
One thing JUST is postive the ambiance felt with the large audience they make with this great performance as a cheering squad.
FINALLY WHAT I WANT TO SAY THIS IS SO BORING LEADS AND EXTREMELY POOR SCRIPT WRITTEN,
AND IT WAS DELAYED FOR A MONTH ALMOST BUT DON'T DESERVE TO BE WATCHED AT ALL AND AVOID WAITING IN VAIN!!!!!!!
THE LOW RATING GRADUALLY PUSH ME TO DROP IT WITH SURELY JUDJING FROM WATCHING SOME OF THIS BAD SERIES.
DON'T FORGET THE FACT THAT IT HAD BROKEN THE WORLD RECORD IN POSTPONING!
SO JUST RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!

This drama is so entertaining.
If you enjoy campus or sporty dramas this one is for you. I like the chemistry between the female lead and the male lead. I started this drama because of my friend's recommendation and it turned out to be fun. Not only does this drama focus on romance, but the genre of this drama also includes mystery and suspense. The suspense between the characters got me gripping the edge of my seat! Every single episode continued to surprise me I couldn't quit thinking about how much I loved it! Even with the slow burn, I still enjoyed every single encounter between the female lead and the male lead!update:
I ended up dropping it. Everything started great, not until the drama made the second lead look like a psychopath who couldn't accept being rejected by the woman he liked. What annoyed me was the fact that the second lead had more screen time than the male lead. The drama made it look like the second lead (sunho) was the male lead. The plot got worse and worse. The only thing I could say about the drama is that started off great. I would not recommend it.

Cheer Up! Everything's gonna be O.K.
There is a serious loss and disgust of campus spirit from students that wants to do away with the Theia Cheer team. They got to deal with misplace funds from previous capt.
Then the Dean cut even more of their funding.
But the worse trouble for them all is the prophecies a former cheer turned shamen foretold back in the 90s and with two prophecies that came true there is that (up)pending third.
With the lack of members the Cheer future on campus looks dim.
A 'prickly by the book' ML going through some personal demons
A 'bubbly bright' focus on her money FL
A SML who has openly display his affection for FL.
A rich eccentric lurking about the Cheer team.
A 'was that a scene of a murder' 🤔😶
I'd like to add everything mention above has been laid out in the first 30 minutes of the drama which mean for a 16 episode drama I'm expecting 5-8 episodes being fillers for secondary acting :)
And that is ok, i like this idea for a uni drama- I'll watch this one and see where it goes.

Not the absolute worst, but not that great either
Is this the worst college drama to ever exist?Probably not, but it is something of a disappointment.
There’s a lot of lost potential with this one.
Maybe it would have never been a masterpiece, but I do feel like it could have been something decent.
If you’ve watched lots of college centered dramas, this probably won’t be anything outstanding. It might really get on your nerves, though.
I think the cast is fine for the most part, the acting was okay too, and I was generally intrigued by the concept of the cheering squad. Unfortunately, the plot is just NOT it. Attempting to branch out into one too many genres can be detrimental to the story telling and the plot, especially if there’s already an issue with coherency. Sometimes it's best to stick to one thing and actually work out a proper storyline around it.
I started to get quite annoyed at some point and decided to look into spoilers, and that’s when I realized that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy this.
The FL Do Hae Yi had some refreshing traits, among some that were not so refreshing, but I was looking forward to seeing her character grow. Unfortunately, character growth is nowhere to be seen when it comes to any of the leads. While I liked the ML Bae In Hyuk, it seemed like the writers had given up on fleshing out his character further beyond the "Nice Guy" persona, which is a shame.
As for the SML, Jin Sun Ho, I found it quite concerning to see how some people were actually rooting for him. To me, his behavior was very much obsessive, creepy and off-putting. The whole love-triangle was just infuriating.
I liked most of the supporting cast members, and I honestly wish more attention had been paid to the growing friendship between the cheer squad members.
Sad to say, this drama did not cheer me up one bit, instead it left me feeling frustrated and annoyed.

In the end, it was good:)
Many viewers are giving negative comments, some dropped it early on… for me the initial first few episodes were cute. I particularly liked Do Hae Yi. Her character was very refreshing. She’s the type to speak honestly and openly; she’s bubbly and ecstatic , and just very cheery :):)I put this drama on hold for a bit around the 5th episode. Yes.. the plot line was all over the place. It included some psychopath trying to hurt a member of the squad; so there were some “scary” moments. Uhmmm this didn’t quite fit into the overall vibe of the drama. I came back to it after a few weeks and the pace got better then. Just needed a break I guess. Then there were the mother elements- one got divorced, the other got cancer. So a lot of crying and learning to deal issues.
The love triangle- now many viewers had major issues with this. Personally, it didn’t really give me much angst haha. Meaning to say it didn’t bother me that much. The first kiss with 2ML I felt was not good- he shouldn’t have taken advantage of a drunk woman, but then the vomiting on him was quite funny! Many viewers thought the ML was too good for the FL. I kinda agree- he seems tooooo perfect lol. Didn’t get jealous, was SO understanding and forgiving, and so magnanimous in being there for her despite her wanting to break up. He’s DA MAN!! Plus, I love Bae In Hyuk :)
All throughout the drama, I couldn’t help but wonder about the cheer moves and the costume. Some viewers responded to my comment and said that this is how it’s like in SK.. unlike the American cheer leading. So I just found that quite strange.
It’s a no fluff drama, don’t really have to think hard to understand the plots ;);) and it’s not a binge-watch drama either. Oh, I skipped most of the “older couple” scenes. Too meh to watch haha. It’s a uni drama, just don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine.

where has this been all my life?????
where has this been all my life???? like it was sooooo good, cast was amazing and storyline was also amazing. I just looooove this kdrama. finished this in like a week(because of work😒) but i really liked hae-i and jung-woos relationship, like there wasn’t anything toxic, jung-woo gave hae-i the time she needed and helped her, thats what you do in relationship. at times it felt like sun-ho was main lead because he was everywhere and jung-woo second lead. also they shouldn’t have added that killer dude there, everything was good but then he came and boom everything was bad and sad. I really liked hae-is character she was soooo chaotic, like you never know what comes next with her haha. Jung-woo was also so cute like he shyshy but the way he looked at hae-i🥺🥺love in his eyes. overall very good and it’s like fresh and youthful, this show gave me warmth, how they cared for each other 🥺Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A Solid Coming of Age Story
I thought this was a solid coming of age drama. You get a mix of multiple genres, such as romance, friendship, suspense, and some thrill.in my opinion, it did take some time for the cast to have a solid chemistry. There were moments where I felt some characters were a little bit more plain than others. By the end of it, I was satisfied with the chemistry and how it ended.
my biggest issue was the suspense and thrill part of it. I felt like this “mystery/killer” was unnecessary at some times. It felt like it was only there too give the audience a little break of between the romance, friendship building and character growth.

Slice of life content
i honestly love the story of how a 20-yr-old girl conquered her struggles as a bread winner of the family. I know everyone can relate to her story; her difficulties as the eldest, played the role of her deceased dad, college student having so many part time jobs, and joining extracurricular activities in school which is the cheering squad and that's when romance barged in. This drama is fun and exciting to watch. This is a gem in kdrama world in 2022. Are you ready for an emotional ride? Thanks for reading my short review.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Plot done to death, just kill love triangles and focus on friendship stories T_T
Sassy go go, school 2017, age of youth, my comparisons and my hopes. Sadly it's too much like the 1st two and nothing like the 3rd oneThis is cute and she is one of the rare cutie, she's social and fun loving so her bubbly personality makes sense and her past trauma doesn't make her jaded or self pitying. But the story doesn't do anything me
The ml feels bland, I'm glad his getting more recognition but he has no depth, he just feels like the neighborhood's sunbae
Atleast the uni and club stuff should make me nostalgic but I don't connect. The dance doesn't seem to have any purpose
Maybe back in 2016 I'd have liked it more. I compared this to sassy go go tho tho I don't know know if I'd like that either now🤣 I also would've hoped for a age of youth type of friendship but tbh the love triangle and the romance ruins the potential of it being a fun slice of life experience even like school 2017

I wanna be a part of the cheerleading team!!!
Accidentally started to watch this drama because I wanted to see some college romance, light heartfelt drama and this one is really fulfilling- added to it- comedy, mystery and thrilling subplots to the story which I love it.Wanted to watch it for Han Ji Hyun and Bae In Hyuk but the rest of the cast are adorable as well. Especially Jang Gyuri and Kim Hyun Jin.
Well, I hope to see more development to the plot as it progresses since its kinda really awesome to see a cheerleading squad and with all the performances and excitement. I just want to be a part of "Team THEIA".
