A walking green flag mafia?
Naaah. I mean, yes Kamol is a walking green flag. However, his character doesn't look like a mafia. He is more like a very dangerous businessman. If we put it this way, he is a bit more dangerous than Leo in Don't say no.For those who are wondering though, this serie has a *happy ending*
Now, onto the elements,
Overall Plot:
What I liked about the plot is that there is communication between Kim and Kamol. I think, there is no issue during the entire series that is left unsolved for more than a day. They like to tackle the issue fast and maybe it's because Kamol is so transparent to Kim. Though I didn't like how Kim is a bit like a damsel in distress for getting abducted everytime, I understand that it is because he is a civilian. Also, Kamol being part of the mafia is not too established in the serie. It is more like he is a handler only of businesses. Another thing is that, Unforgotten Night is very funny to me without being comedic. It's like they did the most serious parts funnily? Without being to.
NC Scenes:
They kiss like goldfishes. Their NC scenes are too vanilla. I was expecting a more steamy-like scenes such as kiss marks, etc. because it is advertised in that way. However, in the series, it is more like they kiss and then the next moment they're done. It is heavily censored? Honestly, The Lop threesome is hotter than the main couple. Also, as it is advertised as rough, bdsm kind of story I was really expecting more. But other than the occasional chaining up and the first episode's candle thingy, nothing happened anymore. Honestly, this part is what kind of spoiled my expectations.
Characters:
Okay. Unpopular opinion: Kamol is scarier than Kinn in KinnPorsche. One thing I liked about this serie is how scary Kamol is. He really has that boss kind demeanor amidst that cutesy face. Also his soft? voice sound a lot like Zee in cutiepie. Kim on the other hand is a baby. One of the cutest baby I have ever seen. He is also one of the reasons I keep watching. I love him as Kim and I love how he has a business of his own, how his character is so stupidly kind, and how he can be so sassy at times. A complete contrast to Kamol who is only kind to him and him only. Also, I liked the of languages here, even though Kamol's korean is a bit funny.
Comparison to KinnPorsche?
First of all, a lot of people are not liking this series because they are comparing it to KinnPorsche. However, this is not the kind of series you should watch if you've just finished KinnPorsche because you'll be completely biased. I watched a couple other series more after KinnPorsche before watching this so I suggest you do the same. But if you are wondering, here are some of the differences I have noticed that might make you watch this or not:
- Kamol is more like Korn (Kinn's dad) based on his temperament and how scary he is. Kinn is more like a chaebol for me. But is cooler than Kamol when it comes to fight scenes. Kamol is more like the ordering-boss-cool type kind of character.
- Unforgotten night seems more like a family (close-knit) to me than KinnPorsche, which more like a family of mafia. In Kamol's case, subordinates can make suggestions, and speak up their mind. Also, Kamol tends to rely on his subordinates a lot (trust). In comparison, KinnPorsche has a clear distinction of subordinates and the bosses.
- Kamol is open, proud and doesn't care about anything but Kim. If Kinn and Porsche had to hide their love even though it is so obvious, Kamol on the other hand doesn't care to hide at all. He wants to kiss, hug, and flirt anywhere he wants even in front of his subordinates. Kim is always his priority and I love him for it.
- And yes, the NC scenes are much better at KinnPorsche than this one. There, it is more like lustful love, while at Unforgotten Night, it is more like I-love-you-so-I'll-take-care-of-you kind of vibe. Also, Kamol is so possessive of Kim.
- Lastly, the plot is completely different than KinnPorsche. This serie focuses more on the romance.
Overall, Unforgotten Night is a good watch. Very memorable, but I don't think it is a type that you will rewatch again and again. I suggest readers to watch it. I hope that if they ever make a season 2, there'll be improvement on the love scenes if they still tend to focus on the romance.

Don't compare to Kinn Parsche but it's okfine
I like this series however it has potential that is not being realized.. There were plot holes and the editing could have been better. From the very premise there should have been more heat between the two actors. It didn't have to be R rated or pornish to have heat but there was definitely room for improvement. That being said it is not as good as KinnPorsche but much better than Checkout ( which by the way i wouldn't waste my time watching again.) .I liked episodes 1-6 then I felt like the series bogged down a little. Episode 10 could have been so much better. I liked episodes 1 , 2 , and 12 the best. Episode 12 saved it from a 6 rating, I would rate Episode 12 an 8.5.
I have continued watching it because I want to see how it ends. There has been some pretty good scenes like the rescue of Kim and "bombs" in episode 6. I liked the rescue in Episode 12. But there were other places were the story seems disjointed and choppy Like in episode 10 I think it would have been much better if they had focused on the vacation and left the scenes with Daniel,Dani And Cherry till the end of the episode or the next episodes. Certainly not inserting the Cherry scene between the shower and bedroom scene with Kamol and Kim. I felt the shower scene with the three bodyguards was totally unnecessary and didn't add to the story. I think it would have been better to work on the shower/bedroom scene with Kamol and Kim which seemed incomplete and pieced together.
I think the writers for Forgotten night don't seem clear on the direction they are going. In episode 1 you have the bedroom scene which is pretty tame for the subject matter addressed, and that was fine they didn't need to have full nakedness with both actors like KinnPorsche did. I think the bedroom scenes was effective the way they did it. where you see the top half naked even though more is implied. For example In episode 4 you see a small kiss in the bedroom and the next morning they wake up in bed together naked. Then in episode 9 you have the scene with Kim taking a shower and Kamol coming up with robe but there was a strategically placed railing that obscured details , that could have been more but they elected not to and that is fine. I like the cleaner romances. Sometimes less is more. then in episode 10 there was two explicit scenes like KinnPorsche that were totally R but the scenes themselves felt like they were missing something./ or were unnecessary.
I will finish watching it but yes it could have been better but I do I like mostly what I have seen..
I felt like episode 12 saved the series for me. In episode 12 I loved the interaction of Kamol and Kim. I could feel how Kamol was torn between work and going after KIm and how Kim was feeling rejected, I felt like the acting was so much better in this episode. I liked the rescue of Kim. I loved how Kim's Father warned Kamol of the difficulties they would face as a couple but accepted them. The parents attitude was realistic and not another cliche. I think the surprise party should have had Kim's parents there. But I loved the happy ending..

Middle Ground
Is this the best Bl out there? No, but it isn't the worst either.Somewhat decent story, with decent acting and fairly decent delivery. It is a much better series than some other letdowns released this year.
The actors were likable, the acting was alright and their expressions were decent enough to make you watch the series. There were some cringe moments like in every other Bl butnothing out of the ordinary. The leads had decent chemistry and I want to see them in other concept.
The story itself was mediocre to me. Maybe because I've seen "better" series with this concept, but it's not that bad.
The music was nothing special to me.
The best part about this series were the moments of understanding, when they communicate to resolve their issues. (to some extent though)
Will I recommend this drama? Well, it's an easy story to follow, there aren't manny story holes, and the characters are not that bad, so if you want to watch this give it a try, you will most likely like it if you are interested in this kind of a concept.
For me it lacked substance to the plot, some scenes were boring to watch and I had to skip most of them, maybe because it was too predictable for me.

Love it
It wasn't good at first so I thaught of dropping it in 1st episode that it didn't have anything related to 18+ scenes even though on dramacool uncut version. Butttt here's the main story starts, I got hooked after watching next episode's short clip in the end of 1st ep, so I didn't give up. Thanks to the story that their interactions got better after first episode and the chemistry got really interesting. Even the kiss scenes were enough heatable and passionate.I think they didn't want the same intimate affection in first episode that's why it felt off but it's really good.
Side couple of bodyguard and maid's nephew is just so cute and adorable 🥰.
Kamol being tiger with his subordinates and kitty with Kim is so good.
I like Kim's both secretary specially Sammy since UWMA and some other BL💗
Cherry ( villain girl), her acting is so on point, she's cute and stunning with those outfits. I can't seem to hate her that she has dimples on her cute face.
I'm eagerly waiting for 7th episode.

Its a worth to watch it..
I watch this series coz the actor ( Ton Saran) . He seems to fit in with his partner. They had chemistry. In episode 1 there may be a little disappointed (only in bed scene). Maybe they still shy, but are getting much much much better now. their kiss improve from the episode to another episode like their relationship ( kamolkim )in this series. Every episode is worth to watch it. The stories is good, the acting, absolutely good. The editing maybe little disappointed, but improve now. For me, this series is interesting and has its own specialties. I suggest you watch first. if you just read the negative comments and compare it to other series, you will only see the bad site. watch and rate yourself. my rating 10/10 after watching 6 episodes and always looking foward to the next episode.Spoiler for those who read the novels, bad scene are not adapted like novel but still make you heart pounding. There a sweet scene in every episode that can make us smile. I'm just love yoon and ton.

Not a must watch
The start of the series was fun; the tough dangerous maffia guy meets a sexy guy in a bar and have a exciting night and starts following the sexy guy around because he is the only person who can satisfy him in bed. What could be a more interesting and promising start!!I expected passion and tension here; tough guys doing tough things, doing their work and business, getting a passionate and dangerous relationship. But after some episodes the tough guys turned out not to be tough and manly but sweet and soft, busy with their feelings and working on their relationship, petting their tiger, crying when they were hurt, saying nice things to their servants and friends, they were totally perfect. I did not realise that a maffia boss can be so sensitive and delicate. The story is so so, there are happening some things, but not really very interesting but also not very boring. The serie started with a hot scene, but ended with a kiss on the cheek, kind of kiss you give to your mother, very well behaved.
I did not like the acting, the boys looked handsome but it lacked emotions.
I finished the series so the serie is not too bad, but there are much better series then this one, for example rak dio.

Could have been a real good series.
This drama was for me really disappointing. I haven't been able to read the novel yet but even without that there are so many things that I just can't get over with this series.First, the trailer gave the impression that it was going to be a steamy series. It doesn't mean that I only like that type of series but if you say BDSM at least deliver it enough to be allowed to mention it. It looked as if Kamool only liked rough sex sometimes but in the beginning he was frustrated about no man being able to handle it. That just doesn't make sense. In the beginning of the series Kamool was that rough that the man was covered in what looks like gashes yet somehow Kim only ends up with some hickeys.
Second, I really like the actor who plays the role of Kamool and love some of his previous series but this series was acting wise not my favorite. Not just from his side but also the actor who played Kim. It really felt superficial. Their portrayal of the emotions of the characters was not great. Was it awful? No not really. I have read some other reviews and agree with them that the actor's seem to not know what was exactly expected from them. Like they were given the script the day of shooting and were told to wing it.
Third, I am a person who loves a BL even when the budget is low and the sex scenes are scarce. Why? Because when the actors can show a real good chemistry it can save a series even when they barely have any kiss scenes or even have when they have no kiss scenes. In the beginning of this series their chemistry was, in my personal opinion, the best. I don't know how long they had the time to prepare but it feels that they barely had any workshops together before shooting. I think that with some more time this series could have been a lot better.
I probably will rewatch this one time just to see if I could see something that can save this series for me or if I have skipped something important when I was watching it but after that probably not.

SO BAD ITS GOOD
The acting, story, music, production value all a little low but someone you are still drawn to this show. I love toxic, possessive, messy male leads so I’m sure that was the appeal, along with the good looking cast. I also love that Kim makes him want to be a better person, the whole your love transforms me from bad boy to good LOL. I was rooting for Kamol and Kim the whole way through. I’ve watched this show 3-4 times, it’s a great filler for when I’m waiting for a new BL. My one true pet peeve was the tacky limo that Kamol went around in, so funny.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Series completed
Just finished this series and while I agree that it is no way one of the best, I must state that I have seen worse tha this. Matter of fact, I'm still watching it, counting down for it to end because I already know what rating I am going to give it.This series, unlike the next one, I knew what the plot was and was able to follow it (it was a week one, but still).
And yes the acting and the script was not one of yhe best and I got annoyed at the ending, but I can still say, it was still better than what I am watching that still has not one, but TWO episodes remaining.
It had very, very, VERY few good parts (one that comes to mind is the acceptance of Kim and Kamol's relationship from Kim's parents, especially the dad).
Overall, I give this series an A for effort. But my final official rating is 3.5/10. And yes, this is actually higher compared to what I am going to give the next BL that I am currently watching.

SPOILERS.
Honestly, most of what im reading is negative. I personally found this very addicting, but there was a few things i didn't like.1) Kamol had nobody, yet suddenly Ethan and Danil come in and Danil's Kamol's adopted brother, yet they would have sex?
2) PLOT HOLES
3) In episode ten, the three bodyguards suddenly had a threesome for "plot." There was nothing with this after the fact, and I think there should have been some follow up or side story to Kamol and Kim's.
4) How Cherry and Danai called eachother "siblings."
5) Just how fast Cherry switched from "Danai and Kamol's informant" to just Kamol's.
There were limited things I enjoyed. The music was top teir, though I couldn't find it.

Good but...
It's good but ... i'm disappointed that nothing happened with baiboon and khom... they could have made a special episodes for them... and sometimes i wasn't sure if it was a drama or pub for some products... but the story have some potential... but certainly not the best adaptation that they could made ... but not the worst one that I've seen ... and not enough spicy moment... they cut before the fun happens... but the scene with the 3 bodyguards worth it even if we don't see much things ... it's funny and sexy...Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Side couples..
this series was definitely a not so good but hard to put down kinda series. For it being a newish drama I expected a better sort of quality but it wasn’t like it was bad to watch..I personally loved it and enjoyed watching it very much I just wish there was more going on for the side couples don’t get me wrong the main couple is great but come on..y’all know you ate up that KitRajLop scene.. I need more on those three I swear their dynamic fits so well it makes me crazy.. the Day and itt couple at first I was confused as to why they would show Kim’s ex lover because it made no sense then as the story went on I understood that they were a big part in this that needed mention. I just really need to see more of KitRajLop it makes me go crazy that they gave us that one small scene towards the end like I expected so much more from that couple and never got it.. 😮💨Esta resenha foi útil para você?
