A Hot Mess
Let's be honest, this is some of the most vanilla kink you're going to see (and Kamala needs to learn how to flog someone properly). The acting is okay at best but the worst actor is sadly Yoon. The writing is awful so I can't blame You alone for why his depiction lacks so badly.
Kim can be pretty adorable. He's also often pretty dumb and should stand up for himself either more or differently than he does. He's not actually a doormat so I give him credit there.
The best couple gets the least screentime: Day & Itt (I had to repeatedly make sure this wasn't connected to Love Syndrome). Though the surprise throuple was fun.
The sweetest couple is honestly Khom and Baiboon even though they aren't technically a couple. And it makes me super uncomfortable how clearly attracted they both are given Baiboon is, as far as I can tella minor.
This series has the most inept gangsters. Terrible writing & a fair bit of terrible acting to go with it. Instalove on the most ridiculous basis. Supposedly kinky sex that's really just handcuffs after that first disasterous flogging (which makes Kamol's obsession with Kim even less believable for anyone who is even vaguely not vanilla). Tigers that I'm pretty sure we're sedated the whole time. Convoluted conflict. It is a HOT MESS (emphasis on mess).
So why did I keep watching it?
Itt's nephew Salmon and his dynamic with everyone he comes into contact with. Itt & Day. Baiboon! My previous boy Baiboon who is adorable and dumb. Kim & Baiboon's relationship. Hope of a couple people getting mauled (they don't, the tigers deserve better anyway). The weird car crash effect in full swing.
Is it good? No. Is it entertaining? Yes if your expectations are adjusted appropriately. Would I rewatch it? No. But did I have fun? Yes. And now I want to hug Kim and Baiboon. They're so squishable.

Dommage (me concernant encore une fois).

Painful to watch almost comedic BL
The whole premise is supposed to be based on a mafia boss falling in love with someone due to their similar sexual preferences, BDSM. However, the single BDSM scene they have looks hilarious and is beginner level. The face of the actors when doing this scene looks ridiculous and doesn't allow you to take it seriously. I literally burst out laughing when I was watching it because it was so cringey.Characters: The characters lack identity other than the stereotypical characteristics that they are given and their lines lack any depth. This is to the point that the supporting leads (other couple) seem completely unnecessary and the show would basically be the same without their characters. The main leads dont seem to have chemistry on screen and so everything looks forced. I honestly cant tell if the acting is terrible or if its just the script that lacks substance.
Considering the other high quality BLs that are coming out now, I cant help but feel like the director/script writers gave up on the show.

Well.. Love It or Hate It?
This is another series that seems to be a Love It! or Hate It! - Based on the reviews, which are either really high or really low!It makes me a little crazy when reviews contain comparisons to other series. This one is receiving a lot of comments about this series versus Kinn Porsch and why this one would have been rated higher if it had come out before KP. HUH??? Are there that many bl series out there to watch that we can afford to compare them and then rate them on that comparison? I think not. If I am going to do any comparisons, it's going to be Unforgotten Night versus the truly awful series like Even Sun and Check Out. Hands Down this series is better than some of the series that have come out in 2022.
And although I give both Kinn Porsche and Unforgotten Night high ratings, I actually enjoyed this one a bit more, mainly because the actors in this series were all very good looking and I really didn't care for the actors that portrayed Kinn or Porsche - they were not good looking at all and even their chemistry seemed more like sex and less like love, and they had some really stupid scenes. In Unforgotten Night even the bodyguards had decent screen time, were good looking and were decent actors.
As far as the series - of course there was a lot of hype that the show didn't live up to - isn't that true with any series? Otherwise, no one would watch them. It wasn't perfect, most series have flaws, but it was entertaining enough to keep me watching without hitting the fast forward.

It was okay
I’ve heard so many bad reviews about this series, to be honest I didn’t want to at first but I decided to try it out and I was surprised cause it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.The thing is kamol is a mafia but it feels lacking in a way I’ll get to why shortly, Kim on the other hand is so annoying and acts like a chick. He complains and bitch a lot and the worst part is he doesn’t really know what he wants but what annoys me is how he keeps playing with kamol feeling and never understands how being with a mafia is dangerous.
Now I think the reason why people have a problem with this series is it came out shortly after kinnporsche, like Unforgotten night for those who don’t know KP is also about mafias and they really did raise the bar so high. It’s not me comparing but it’s a fact, this series didn’t give mafia vibes or portrayed it well it wasn’t thought over and was all over the place.
Now the sex scenes lacked passion which made things worse, it wasn’t as rough as they first portrayed and was too soft to be bdsm as they’re showing it to be. The bodyguard NG scenes had more passion than kamol and Kim.
All In all it’s not bad and I enjoyed it, I wish Kim was less annoying but it’s manageable.

I’ve seen way worse with way better ratings
For those seeing all the chatter on Unforgotten Night and wondering whether or not to watch it, here’s my take – it was actually not as bad as I expected. A possessive mafia boss falling in love with a stubborn, hot-headed stranger, and essentially becoming a different person when he’s with him? SIGN ME UP.Apart from Kim and Kamol, the second couple in the series – Baiboon and Khom - was such a pleasant surprise! The storyline featuring a bodyguard and the nephew of a housekeeper totally deserves a spin-off of their own – it was regrettable that their story was pretty much overlooked.
With plenty of other BLs out there, it’s tough to justify why dramas these days still have weird cuts and transitions that stand in the way of smooth storytelling. But I could still follow the story for the most part even though not everything made 100% sense. The actors are also fairly inexperienced, perhaps with the exception of Yoon (I am kinda happy to see him), so be prepared for the quality of acting to be lower.
Lastly, I just wanna say that this rating of 18+ is seriously justified. It’s not just the violence and BDSM but also a shocking (imo) scene involving some of the bodyguards that didn't get very much screen time... but exists nonetheless. ;)

Respectfully this is bad
It is with respect to the actors, to the makers of this series that I have to say, sorry, it is really bad.Let's begin with the easy; music choice: it is cheesy and very wannabe Italian-mafia music?
Its common to have a themse-song but this one just made the whole series even worse.
Followed by audio which, oh heavens! Sure, there are plenty of worse cases out there, no doubt but this one surely was a miss. While are at the external parts of the story, lets talk about scenography and lightning.
They went amateur deluxe! I've seen Phillipine budget dramas with better and overall cinography than this.
From here it's downhill.
The choice of actors was bit..mismatch?
To be honest, the surrounding cast felt more interesting and the main actors. The main actors did a good job as per directed I imagine, but there was no good chemistry anywhere. The serious and hanky spanky scenes felt more like comedy than something sexy. They tried the bdsm-theme but it's so terrible in so many degrees that it hurt my artistic kinky soul to the core.
Lastly, we have the so called story, well, about that..
..it was forced from the get go. The ONLY believeble part in the entire drama was a certain shower scene ;) with the guards... :D :D : D
Everything else was just like a nightmare or bad joke. Oh and it's 100% Stockholm-syndrome romatizised that well..blergh. When they pretended to speak other languages or well, they did speak other languages and it's so terrible that I found myself cry-laughing then fast forwarding due to the agony.
Giving this even more than a 2 in rating is charity.
PS! Apart from the failures a bit everywhere, they didnt failed too much with they eyecandy, hence some bonus rating stars :P

Unforgotten Series♡
Solid 8.7 series for me. I'm gonna miss it, gonna miss KamolKim the most really. Was it perfect? Not by any means but whether you hate it or love it, , I'm sure it'll be an unforgettable experience having watched it live weekly for everyone cause it kept people talking; To hate on it or give genuine feedback and point out things they did like about it. I personally would definitely rewatch it again no problem. Hope to see YoonTon in future projects also.Positives:
-The chemistry between Yoon and Ton, I loved. Some people may say Yoon didn't fit the role but I think he did and did it well. I found the way he played Kamol to be alluring, loved seeing that side of him. Ton as Kim did great as well tho admittedly, Kim was abit annoying at times but that's no fault of Ton that his character is the the way that he is since the script is based off a novel. The growth they go through together, they had me rooting for KamolKim's love to workout and make them a fave ship of mine.
- The chemistry the rest of the cast especially Ton and Peat (Baiboon). I haven't read the book but was told that Kim treats him like a son and they have an adorable relationship in the novel and I got that in series. Given the circumstances of the age issue from the novel, Peat did well with his role acting alongside everyone, Gun (Khom) included; Their storyline was sweet and innocent and I appreciated that. Speaking of Gun, I also love the shoot out scenes him and the other 3 bodyguards had, so much, they were amazing in those scene, so props to him, Ku, Tong and Tan.
- Amen as Danil had my blood boiling so kudos to him for playing a good irritating character, tho his evil laugh could use some work. Ging as Cherry was great in her role also, again not her fault Cherry was quite annoying but that's to be expected unfortunately with BLs and females. Beam as Danai was entertaining to watch.
Negatives:
- Lack of DayItt, while others were complaining of their screentime, I honestly didn't mind them and wanted to know more about them. Who knows they might've given me second couple syndrome or have me like them just as much as I love KamolKim.
-Lack of backstory for the bodyguards, it was a nice surprise tho from the promo posters and from what I was told about the novel, I knew it was gonna happen. I just wish we had gotten more to their story.
- Jin? My girl Sammie went missing and I was hoping for something to happen with her and May, oh well.
- The filter on the intimate scenes, weird editing choice.
That's all for the negatives like I said, I enjoyed it. I know people were fussing on about the background music but I didn't care one way or the other about the music to be honest. The intro ost had me singing along to it for sure. Anyways, I recommend this series if you want to something entertaining to shut your brain off to.

I appreciated the consenual nature of their sexual relationship. The actual depiction of the bdsm was a little trite. Overall their relationship was sweet. It strove to legimize bdsm and same-sex relationships. Kim's parents acceptance but yet realistic attitude was a loving healthy one.

Watch on the official channel
I think the story of this novel is quite interesting. While watching the series, even though in episode 1 it was quite awkward, in subsequent episodes it began to develop well. The storyline is also getting more interesting. The packaging of the storyline is also epic, not too many adult elements, more romantic and wise. There's a scene in the later episodes that gets a lot of criticism for the lack of chemistry during the kiss scene, but for me it was just the beginning of a relationship. Kamol doesn't want to push Kim too far, he wants to try slowly because Kamol knows he has pushed Kim a lot. I feel more like it includes a romantic scene, a thin kiss that makes the heart melt. I suggest you guys keep watching because the more episodes the more fun, you won't be bored.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Lazy Storytelling
As someone who had read the novel before, I can say that I enjoy this drama. Is this drama good? The answer is no. Is it the worst? The answer is also no. There are other worst ones. But I can understand why this doesn't work on others. If you never read the novel from beginning to end, it's really hard to enjoy the drama itself. Actually, the actors in the drama did a great job in portraying their characters, because that's how they're written in the novel. The characters in the novel all have the same paper thin personality as in the drama.
The worst thing is they adapted the word by word novel into the drana, without changing anything or adding the aspects that makes visual storytelling more enjoyable. That's why I rated it as lazy storytelling. The drama team just slap the sentences in the novel onto the drama, without giving it a soul, making it sounds so boring and anti-climatic. When I read the novel, even though I think it's crazy, but since the novel has some kind of background information on why the characters do what they do, but in the drama they didn't bother to do that.
I know how the novel ended so I do know what will happen next, and I also have the privilege of knowing what they're thinking so I'm not that annoyed like others.
My verdict:
This is a watchable drama if you think you have nothing to do and you have a lot of time to spare, and you also no longer has other dramas to watch. It was not absolutely terrible either, and I actually grow fond of the main couples, despite their weird background. This drama is perfect to watch when you are doing something else, like working, doing laundry, etc, as you don't have to focus much to the drama.

it’s MY trash.
It wasn’t horrible but the plot is messy and patchy. i imagine that the script writer was paid fifty cents and got a loaf of bread as a bonus. they spent their money on trying to make kamol have a luxurious life and said “nah we don’t need to hire editors!! cap cut is free” also the instrumental they use is hilarious and used at inappropriate times IT WAS AMAZING!!!kim can have everything i have, i will give all of it to him. kamol was funny but gosh he was a little obsessive!! i love the body guards. genuinely laughed during the threesome because why??? did it happen??? i guess they’re in love or some thing. idk idc do your thang babes. im ace so idc about NSFW scenes… these were just so badly shot and edited i laughed.
it was still enjoyable to watch and i wasn’t bored… tho i did skip when things were slow or when they spent too much time on the “he’s so in love fr fr” shots
i’d watch it again and would still be entertained 100%. watch it. thank u this is the first review i’ve wrote
