Bad And Crazy Is a True Thrill!
This may be one of the most unique psychological thrillers I’ve ever seen. I’ll admit that I was a bit confused during the first two episodes as I tried to figure out what the heck was going on with Detective Ryu Soo Yeol who is a part of the Anti-Crime Unit, which basically equivalent to our Internal Affairs. He’s trying to piece together evidence of a missing woman, but a mysterious man in a motorcycle jacket and helmet keeps showing up out of the blue and beating the daylights out of him. While it made for intriguing scenes and shifts within the story, it also left me puzzled. It wasn’t until the end of the second episode that I realized that “K”—the man in the motorcycle gear—is actually Ryu Soo Yeol’s alter-ego. A part of himself that finds himself using when confronted with dangerous situations. The interactions between K and Ryu Soo Yeol aren’t just interesting but also contain some of the funniest interactions of the series.
Of course, as with so many other Korean dramas, there is always more to things than meets the eye, as Korean stories are often like onions. You have to peel back another layer to find out what else is going on. At first, we start with—what appears to be—a simple missing persons case that turns into a ring of drug dealers, which then turns into the mastermind who is secretly plotting Ryu Soo Yeol’s downfall. A deep, dark secret from his past as he struggles to put the pieces together as well as dealing with the fact that he’s got a split personality. In the hands of a lesser writer and director, this series could have easily become ridiculous and laughable.
As the series begins, it’s obvious that Ryu Soo Yeol is a very self-absorbed guy. He is just as corrupt as the police officers that he investigates. He’s not above taking bribes and even turning his back on justice and doing the right thing for an envelope of money. He also warms himself up to his superiors, and by all intensive purposes, he’s living the good life without much care. In many ways, the transformation of Ryu Soo Yeol from nonchalant playboy to someone who finally begins caring about doing the right thing, coincides with the appearance of “K.”
However, it soon begins to be painfully obvious that Ryu Soo Yeol is a bright but careless detective, often going into dangerous situations alone rather than with a partner. There’s a reason why police officers and detectives have partners. First and foremost is so that the partner can corroborate their story and version of what happens. There are several cases where Ryu Soo Yeol might have avoided a situation if he’d used a partner.
Lee Hee Kyum is his love interest and fellow officer. Their relationship begins tenuously because it’s obvious that Ryu Soo Yeol had a short fling with her. However, it’s quite obvious that she still has feelings for him. She’s a capable officer, although she does fail to follow one of the most basic rules of handling firearms: never draw your weapon unless you’re prepared to use it. Such carelessness puts her in a dangerous situation and could have gotten her killed.
The relationship between Ryu Soo Yeol and “K” as well as with Ryu Soo Yeol’s enemy Jung Hyun Soo is what drives this series. It has quite a thrilling and captivating story when we finally realize who is behind the sinister plot to destroy Ryu Soo Yeol.
I’ve seen Lee Dong Wook already in “Touch My Heart” in which he was fabulous. I was more than a little blown away by his portrayal of a very different kind of character in Ryu Soo Yeol. Performances in general were fantastic in this series.
For a series filled with action, suspense, and humor, this one isn’t one that should be overlooked!

good but...
i liked the premise of the drama but i feel like there were too many arcs within the drama and it didn't connect as much as i wanted it to. for example, the whole drug dealer thing was only mildly relevant the whole series and I feel like they could've tied that in more. i understand that the first half was more developing and showing K and Suyeol's relationship but it seemed like two different dramas, it didn't connect well enough to the ending. i wish that the main villain was more of a threat throughout the whole series, and not just the end. idk it just felt like it didn't flow as much as it should have. also i kinda wish there was a better ending with K (like venom or smth) but I understand why the writers went in that direction.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

My Worst Review Yet (Not a Reflection of the Drama)
I completely forgot to take notes while watching this show which is usually how I do reviews. All I have written is:"So I forgot to start my notes for this show, much like I did for the last show I watched (Heavenly Idol), but I'm at the point where I'm really fed up with the FL constantly putting herself in insanely dangerous positions.
So I keep forgetting to update this as I go. She is still the queen of putting herself in bad situations. Also, the show got so convoluted with multiple minor characters and names that I was completely lost for awhile as to who most of the people were when they mentioned them by name only. lol"
I put this on my watchlist because my husband, Lee Dong Wook stars in it. I wound up watching it next because as always, I had a co-worker who doesn't watch KDramas choose one at random.
I will say the story was decent but as I said above, there were so many random characters at one time that I struggled to keep up with who they were as it seemed like they were mostly called by name and we rarely saw them when they were using their names.
I loved the chemistry between Ryu Soo Yeol (Lee Dong Wook) and K (Wi Ha Joon) though. What a great duo start to finish. I also loved ML's mom and brother, young officer Oh Kyung Tae (Cha Hak Yeon), and definitely the young kid who helped Soo Yeol in the end and then was rescued by him and K from the burning building (I looked online and unless I'm blind I can't find the actor's name or the character in the list).
Overall not a bad show at all. It just had some moments where it was difficult to keep going.

EXTREMELY EXCITING & ENERGETIC BUT...
Honestly, overall - super fun energy filling watch!Has a lot of action and good antagonists and really LOVE the two male leads - they do an amazing job of character portrayal and contrast! Such great chemistry, acting, and stunts!
The story starts off amazing and then mid-way sort of turns gear towards another direction... The ending DOES all tie up well together but really did not like the middle turning point...
Overall, still great humor - had so many laughs and tears here and there! Such a thriller of a lot of action and gore (not a huge fan of that but it goes well with the plot).
Totally would recommend for a fun and thrilling drama!

I rate like a kindergarten teacher.
I'd like to state although no one asked that this is my first review,100 nd something drama's since I got invested 2 year ago and lee dong wook being my go to actor considering It all started with a mistake of a button on netflix (nine tailed fox) next thing I know I'm whipped,so its only right it his drama I'm starting withsecondly I put very much consideration to the fact that reviews and comment sections are what drives most people to watch certain shows so I'll do my best,on that note
WATCH THIS SHOW
ignoring the fact that a lot of k dramas have plot holes, this included i'd like to take to heart the acting of both male leads and the support cast too, for making it a wholesome drama. you can clearly see that the writers not only tried a different approach by making a loop of different villans with captivating stories but tried to maintain a thrill and keep u invested from
the murderous politician
the dirty cops
the drug dealer
and the psychopath therapist
you had your self a hand full of people to snare at while also following a very delicate issue of mental health which considering I have an uncle that was stricken with such at a young age (An handsome pilot) who all of a sudden started talking to people we couldn't see and ended up dieing due to paranoia,( although no asked)but this hit close to home for me and seeing it made me understand the struggle a bit all the while laughing and reminiscing of similar occurances.
BUT the series takes u on a roller coster ride although I wouldn't go back to rewatch it (cause mainly I never do that to series I love, weird) but because certain plot holes had me heated up and rilled up sometimes, but still I saw it through and men what a ride it was. lee dong wook poses as cute but badass cop showing an exceptional skill in both acting and compatability, wi ha joon made such an impression that I'm on a rampage for all his drama's now his growth as an actor wow and the chemistry they both had made me want to start a petition for them to be in another show highlighting just their bromance, the young cop that made u grin, aww and swoon at each of his scenes, the best friend cop that had a "I love u but not this corrupt asshole" relationship and the badass ex lover cop who kept kicking sense into the ML's head. Each premises made u love the show
it has a lot of flaws YES but take the time to just enjoy it as simple as is and you'll leave with zero regrets
I know I said a whole bunch of unnecessary things but I reviewed from my heart chessy as it may be but if ever you come across my review let this be a sign to watch this show because its really did a commendable job entertaining which is all we need right now.
if this sucked,I'll do better next time promise😆💜💜💜

After seeing his immersive acting as Choi Do-Il in the Korean drama 'Little Women', I got curious and saw his profile on the asianwiki page. It turned out that he had acted effortlessly as Ji Seo-Jun in the Korean drama Romance is a Bonus Book (2019) and had supporting roles in other dramas, one of which was the Korean drama Goodbye Mr. Black (2016)
Pretty long brewing huh?
Wi Ha-Joon showed his quality by being able to match the acting of a senior actor, Lee Dong-Wook. Not only are they different in flying hours, the ages of the two are far apart, Wi Ha-Joon (1991), while Lee Dong-Wook (1981)
Even Wi Ha-Joon's acting as K really colored the Korean drama Bad and Crazy: His face is always cheerful, temperamental, funny, brave, and of course handsome! In contrast, Ryu Soo-Yeol's character is cool, flamboyant, and tends to hold back.
The combination of the two dominates the color of the Korean drama Bad and Crazy. Because overall, this drama has a dark nuance. About child abuse. About killing by the ruler. As well as about the black world of drugs.
Compared to its predecessor which also tells about multiple personalities, I prefer the Korean drama Bad and Crazy which feels more real. Starting with Ryu Soo-Yeol's confusion when his alter ego appears, then doing a series of therapies and ending with the alter ego, K.
His predecessor dramas: Korean drama Kill Me, Heal Me and Korean drama Hyde Jekyll, Me are more like jokes with romantic spices. The psychological genre is just a patch. Whereas in the Korean drama Bad and Crazy, it's the opposite: Romance is just a patch.
So, why is the Korean drama Bad and Crazy not as successful as its predecessor? Most likely the market has been saturated. Every month there are good dramas that make kdrama lovers confused.
Finally, choosing a drama based on the likes of the actress/actor, can be the right decision.

not good not bad
this show felt like it was divided into two different stories. the first story was incredibly boring to me. but when the second story started... i loved it! it was really thrilling to watch and i enjoyed the plot a lot. the main idea of the show -the main character having a psychological disorder and having another personality (sorry, i actually dont know how to exactly explain it)- was really fun to watch. lee dong wook and wi ha joon's chemistry was really good, they made a great duo. my score is a bit low because the first six episodes didn't attract me at all and i barely remember anything about that part. however, as i mentioned the last six episodes are so exciting. the cast is also amazing. if you enjoy this genre, this drama is definitely worth watching.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Nuevo Bromance Favorito

Excellent script, unique characterization, excellent actors
Excellent script, unique characterization, excellent actors, no extra scenes, attractive in its own genre in such a way that you are running to the end of the story to see what happens.I can't tell you how good it is, lovers of action, thriller and mystery genres, hurry up because this series is for you.
Lee Dong Wook was also very good here
I fell in love with the relationship between Ki and Soyol.😍
I say again, check it in its own genre, for example, if you want romance, this series is not for you.
Indeed, if you are sad after watching a TV series and are looking for something to make you feel better, this is a very good choice

Dissociative identity disorder
So this drama is not bad, but I don't understand the D.I.D part, it will make no sense if K is gone. DID does not just disappear out of nowhere without treatment. the main character did not get therapy or medication from a professional by the end of the drama. and I really can't tell if he was himself or K at the end.the only entertaining things about this K-drama are K and Boss Yong. K was really entertaining and the chaos he brought to the show was one of the 2 things that stopped me from dropping the show. Boss Yong was stunning and as a russian speaker, I was caught off guard and impressed by the fact that she and Andrei were saying some russian words.
Tbh I don't think I will watch this drama again. The plot was a little boring

a crime series with a unique twist
The story is unique but there are flaws in the logic and some plot holes. There also aren't many (unique) plot twists. Despite that, "Bad and Crazy" is an interesting and enjoyable watch. The characters all have great background stories of their own (though side characters' stories are not as much explored). The writers did a great job at making the main characters relatable. All actors portray their characters perfectly, I really enjoyed the acting.
The music was good - it matches the "concept" of the series and I personally really enjoyed the intro on every episode.
To sum up, this is a well-acted crime series that I enjoyed and would recommend to everyone who likes comedy but still wants serious topics (e.g. drug dealing) to be talked about.
