Normal story which turned out gem
This is really worth watching. Interesting plot which keeps you binge watching until end. Contains all elements comedy, romance, action.First few episodes plot may seem like a normal storyline. But later on the story becomes unpredictable.
Acting is really good. Since they're top rated cast they did accordingly well. Regarding OST's I don't even remember listening to OST in this drama.
It contains only 12 episodes, so easy to complete. I started watching it since reels based on this seems good, but got hooked to it until last.
To put it simply
BEST PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER SERIES!!!!

Adrenaline-Packed and Ridiculously Entertaining
I usually try to be a bit more eloquent in my reviews but genuinely all I can say about Bad and Crazy is I fucking loved it.It's super wild, so funny, and such a good time. Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon are an amazing pair and the bromance is top-tier. The villains are awesome, too. Boss Yong especially is a great character. I didn't think it was all as predictable as I've seen others say it is but it's true I don't tend to try and predict what's going to happen.
I think if you tend to be more on the skeptical side and looking for realism, you do need to get into it with an open mind and remember that we're following Ryu Soo Yeol. We're following him 95% of the time, seeing what he's seeing. If you're thinking "wait, this doesn't work," in my opinion yes it does, in Ryu Soo Yeol's head it does.
I would highly recommend Bad and Crazy, especially if you need a break from more mellow dramas or romance, and are looking for something a little more... well, crazy.

"Maldad y locura"

Bad and Crazy
I loved the first episode, it felt very bad and crazy indeed. Not just Ryu Soo Yeol, but also the bad guys. This drama was not afraid to show grit, blood and lots of violence. The entrance of K as the mysterious figure was very interesting and makes you want to know more about him.I'd say this drama felt like 2 different dramas merged into 1, and it's mainly because there were 2 main cases -- the first one, was about Do Yu Gon (episodes 1 to 4) and the related drug case / corruption, (episodes 5-8). The second one felt totally different vibe from the first case, and focused on the psycho therapist who has a deep and painful past with Ryu Soo Yeol. I honestly liked the second half more than the first half. Mainly because I didn't care about the drug case, and the main guy. The captain was too menacing and invincible. He looked like a old short detective, but he was faster, stronger than the younger guys, which i thought was unbelievable.
I also though the case dragged for too long and the plot kept repeating where Ryu Soo Yeol will almost catch the bad guy, but something happens, he loses his chance, he has to kneel down and swallow his pride, then finds something new and starts again.
And that makes me go back to Ryu Su Yeol as the main character. I liked how flawed he was, like an anti-hero but you can help but cheer for him (or maybe because Lee Dong Wook looked impeccably appealing in his suits and sexy tousled hair despite the blood and dirt LOL). Soo Yeol was corrupt, doesn't have the heart to continue fighting, gets beaten down every time. And it's all because of his tragic past that he had to conjure K to protect him.
K is the opposite. Wi Ha Jun's eyes and smile always looked like he was a wild man /superhero when he fights for justice, but also had this childlike wonder when he meets his crush, Hee Gyeom. I loved the bromance between K and Su Yeol and was also crying when they had to finally part. That scene where they said goodbye and when Su Yeol opened the door, he saw W crying inside was heart warming.
I also liked Hee Gyeom and Su Yeol's team, Gyeong Tae and Jae Sun. Sometimes I wanted to scold Su Yeol for teaming up with K (which is basically himself) rather than go to this team for help. But he eventually learns to work with his team and catch the bad guys.
The psycho therapist was unbelievably great at everything, and was always one step ahead of Soo Yeol. I still didn't quite get his motive for having a grudge against Soo Yeol so I can't really sympathize with him. Or maybe I'm not supposed to, but he is so handsome (haha).
Overall, I still felt the 12 episodes were too long, this should have been 10 episodes, but still a fun watch despite getting frustrated sometimes with the plot.
Rating: 8/10

(Might be biased but) one of the best dramas I've seen in 2021-early 2022 (or ever?)
I had put this on my watchlist ever since I heard the news that Wi Hajoon is playing in this drama, and reading the synopsis made me excited. A while after that I completely forgot about it until the posters, teasers, and trailers started to come out. I had completely forgot that K was supposed to be Suyeol's alter and didn't bother coming back to rea the synopsis, already too excited looking at the pre-show contents and speculating on my own, of course to have the theories broken down realizing he's Suyeol's alter. But, it was so much better than my theories, and anything that I could think of, so I wasn't complaining (well, maybe I did because there were a lot of confusing scenes with Suyeol and K but I just concluded that it was what's going on in Suyeol's mind and that's fine by me, and tbh I think the scenes are very cool and I guess were overall a pretty cool concept)I really enjoyed watching the whole drama. I kept looking forward to my fridays and saturdays because of the drama. Every time the episode ends, it just left me so curious impatient for the next episode. Thinking about it and making theories about what would happen next, what's the backstory of everything, even just thinking about that made me genuinely excited and happy. Seeing Suyeol and K's bickering, their teamwork, seeing their cool fight scenes, their touching, sad backstory made me go through such a roller coaster. And I loved every single moment of it. Sometimes I would rewatch an episode, maybe watch the scenes memorable to me because I couldn't wait for the next. It's that good, at least to me.
It was my fault for just reading the synopsis but not the genre. I got fooled thinking it has comedy in the genre because of how fun the trailers looked. And of course though a lot of scenes were pretty funny, I didn't expect the drama to be so... much darker, deeper, and sadder. A lot of it was just because of the main characters themselves. Wishing for K to stay with Suyeol to the ending of the drama was impossible, but I still did. After promising that he would leave on the condition that Suyeol would help Huigyeom, I got so sad. A few episodes later when K looked at Suyeol proudly after Suyeol had fought Gyesik made me cry. It was nice to see them be nice and soft, but it made me so sad because I was genuinely scared that K would leave. When he left Suyeol who was stabbed, I panicked, thinking what if it was really his last moment in the drama, completely forgetting the fact that he's the second lead in the drama. Throughout the episode whenever Suyeol thought of K, he didn't cry but I did. When K came back to save him, he didn't cry but I definitely did. And his last goodbye definitely made me cry. No matter how many times I watch that episode, that scene, I can't not cry watching that. It could be because I was biased because of Hajoon that I did, but I can't help but think that it's not because it's Hajoon, it's because of K. Throughout the drama just like Suyeol, I got really attached to K. He was mischievous, righteous, and soft hearted, and he did beat Suyeol up in the first episode (a lot) but, him turning out to be Suyeol's protector alter made sense. I had always felt that, as he always comes out whenever Suyeol needs him. Maybe that was the reason I got so attached to K. And because I got attached to him, now I'm really a big fan of Wi Hajoon. He, (of course along with every cast and staff) did so well for this drama and I really hope they know how many people appreciate this drama. If only tvn has year end award shows, i really feel like they would snatch a couple of categories awards, since thats how good it is.
Last but not least, the OST. there's only 4, and I absolutely enjoyed them all (well, track 4 didnt really stand out to me that much because it was a slow one, but it was still nice to hear, but it's not my cup of tea), and out of the 4, my favorite would have to be BUMP! Hearing the heavy screams in that song genuinely shocked me, but it was also one of the reasons it's my favorite. Well, I don't think I'm a big kdrama fan, as I usually just watch the ones with my favorite actors, and I definitely rarely look up OSTs, a lot of times because I wasn't interested enough. But that song was genuinely amazing. It's definitely one of my favorite genres that I hear a lot from my favorite western bands, so hearing it in a kdrama OST was a little shocking but it made me happy and excited. I wish to hear more OSTs with that type of heavy band sound, surely in an amazing action drama (Would be nice if my favorite actors play in another good action drama like this)

Czysta definicja szaleństwa! ?
Niemniej jednak Kim Sae Bom był skłonny dodać narracji akcentu retro poprzez pełne akcji eskapady K i Su-Yeol stawiające czoła nieudolnym i brutalnym bandytom, skazańcom i przeciwnikom w cotygodniowych odcinkach.
Ogólnie: Drama jest fajna. Zawiera elementy komedii. Odcinki mogły być krótsze, a policja mogła działać skuteczniej. Serial przyjemny :)

Was it worth it?
I started to watch this just cuz Lee Dong Wook is the main actor in this drama. Didn't really know what to expect but anything he played in is pretty good to watch, at least giving it a chance is a thing. At the beginning it was kinda ordinary and bit pissing me off because of the society and certain lead actreses role. It got really good by the end of second episode, like it spiked up in a heartbeat and I actually didn't expect that kind of plot twist but I'm living for it. The co-star Wi Ha Joon is so great, I feel like I've seen him somewhere but I can't quite put my finger on it (edi; he played the cop in Squid Game, I KNEW I SAW HIM SOMEWHERE!!). Their acting skills are spectacular and I just can't help but love Joons smile <3 it's the most beautiful and heartwarming thing in the world, it got engraved into my mind and i can't get it out. Somewhere to the end of the drama, romantic element appeard and tbh the did not need it to be included at all, felt pretty pointless more when you saw that in the end they didnt even go into any depth with it and just let it kinda go. What's more upsetting is that on Yeols place should have been K but that's only my opinion on the thing. Now HUGE SPOILER!!!
The very ending got me really sad, I understand why it turned out the way it did cuz it felt like it's necessary for the development of Wooks character and over all for the closure of the drama. They wanted to make nice and neat closure and they did it. I just can't get over the fact that K is gone, like, he's not gone for good, he just prolly disolved into Yeols personality BUT STILL from my perspective HE IS GONE and that's why I just can't rate this show 10/10 but only 9/10...

It's not as bad as some people say
I can't lie I really enjoyed this one! 1st episode was kind of boring and confusing but 2nd episode till the end is really enjoyable. Even though I personally hate violence thus I hated some of the scenes because it just broke my heart but I sat through it hahahalso This one is not the kind of drama you can binge-watch it in a day. It's complicated and there's a lot of plot twists!
Personally I always look for the romcom kind of kdrama because i enjoy it and it makes my heart flutter hahaha but it's good to watch something different from time to time!
Yes, there was some scenes that made me cry but maybe I'm just sensitive lol
last episode was really intense!
there wasn't any cringe scenes but there was times i felt angry
I don't think its the kind of drama u could rewatch and rewatch but yea ITS AMAZING
also while i was watching it i was busy crocheting maybe that's why i didn't understand some of the scenes so i advice u to focus on it bcs if u turn ur head for 3 sec you'll probably miss something
all in all, I really enjoyed it because the acting was very amazing thanks to the actors and also bcs all of them r pretty ahhahaha also! while i was searching for the handsome Oh Gyeong Tae I didn't know he was in a group called VIXX! I listen to them but I don't know the members that well i was shocked and happy ANOTHER IDOL TO STAN
this review is kinda useless but yeah thank u to whoever read it! Goodbye and have an amazing time watching this!

You have greatness within you.
"Bad and Crazy" is one of those police detective shows that combines elements of crime, comedy, and policework, making it a captivating watch. Being a former detective myself I enjoy these detective/police type thrillers. Especially when they involve an entertaining story and comedy.Ryu Soo Yeol is a character played by Lee Dong-Wook who is part of an anticorruption investigation unit. For me, it resembles the Internal Affairs Division. Often, Soo Yeol takes the law into his own hands to seek justice for innocent victims of corruption and violent crimes. He is joined by a cool partner named Jae Seon who offers a bit of comic relief. Despite being a good partner, Jae Seon isn't always around.
While investigating a "Pupil" drug ring and internal police corruption, Soo Yeol finds himself in over his head. His past fears and childhood memories are evoked. Apparently, he goes into self-defense mode, imagining an alter ego named "K" to cope with the stress and fear. That's how I saw it, at least.
I thought "K" was real at first, but then I realized he might only be real in his head if he was stressed enough. Whatever the case, "K" was a funny, witty, tough character. There was no doubt he was the type of person you would imagine yourself being in a time of need. Each time "k" appeared, the scene was enhanced, and I thought he added to the story.
"Bad and Crazy" was exactly that, Bad and Crazy. There were good fight sequences, as well as good investigation and execution. However, as a former law enforcement officer myself, I had to overlook some things and realize it was television. It's like Soo Yeol turned his back on the bad guy (and paid for it) after knocking him down on more than 2 separate occasions. The prison bus was hijacked by one inmate. Yes, it is possible, but let me tell you something. The odds of pulling that off are extremely low when the officers are on their game.
In "Bad and Crazy," both the cinematography and visual effects are pretty good. I liked the camera angles and shots when "K" appeared, the slow-motion tracking shots, and the transitions between "K" and Soo Yeol. In many scenes, the music enhanced the mood.
Ultimately, "Bad and Crazy" offered a unique and entertaining concept. Even Beyonce admitted years ago that she had to tap into her Alter Ego (Sasha Fierce) to cope and push forward when her rise to superstardom became overwhelming. Perhaps having an Alter Ego may be beneficial if you use it for the right reasons, is that right, Jr? LOL Just kidding!
