Writer Park Hae Young. Both revolve around three siblings and an outsider. Belong to the slice of life and melodrama genre.
Idk what to say it gives the same vibe , chill suburban life , same feelings towards life, world -weariness in characters but not minding the little joyful moments
Summer Strike is like another version of MLN. Both series question the purpose of living without having happiness in it and achieving a real purpose by going against the direction of masses. Mundane life is more important than other thing one can have to find the real they. Both series has similarities and dissimilarities, but they fall under same spectrum.
It was about the lives of 3 siblings and their own personal struggles. Being an introvert, this drama felt too relatable, The characters here are mostly solemn, depressed, and disappointed with the life they live. Still, there's something inspiring about the way their stories evolve and something honest about how imperfect they all were without being too sad. CALL IT LOVE gave me alil bit of MY LIBERATION NOTES VIBES
A Piece of Your Mind drama gives similar vibes to slow-burn drama. character development.
the main leads keep lingering in the past. FL helps the ML.

When the Weather Is Fine?

Quite surprised that this has not been recommended in tandem yet.
- Both cover the mundane lives of three main characters.
- Characters are in their 20s and 30s trying to achieve financial and professional stability.
- Deep conversations and dialogue on life and existence as a youth in the 21st century.
- The vibes and mood of these two are similar. However, you won't get as much humour in My Liberation Notes.

Both dramas are set in the summer in the countryside. Both dramas have three siblings who make “trouble” for their parents, each with their own stories. Each drama has the one sibling who seems to be normal but makes the most trouble amongst the three. One sibling in each falls for the local guy, though the personalities and background of the MLs are different.
They both deal with wearing yourself out to achieve social goals, and feeling isolated and overworked. They both have strong themes of escaping social pressures and the dramas are not about "winning" but about finding any small ways to be happy. They are both slow-burn and feature main characters who don't talk much.
