strong first episode that sucks you right in

It's been quite some time since I saw the show but I'm feeling a revolutionary spirit and decided to rewatch. I was surprised how strong the first episode is. It really does suck you in to the story. So much so that you're mostly willing to ignore some of the things that are illogical and unrealistic. Upon rewatch and with the hindsight it provides I am mostly fascinated by everyone's relationship with Black. He's absent and yet his presence is felt in ever scene. I think it was really clever of the writer to not have us actually meet Black. Just like White we have no idea who Black is and how he behaves. Just like White we have to piece it together from the interactions both with the gang as well as Todd. Who is a very interesting figure but I can't talk about it more without getting into spoilers. I also love the fact that we have White not only coming from privilege but specifically coming from a different country. If he was in the country and just privileged it would be hard for the audience to feel sympathy for him as he ignored the social inequality within the country but as an outsider who mostly knew Thailand through official news reports it makes it more understandable why he doesn't know more about what goes on in the country.I think the weakest point of the story is the whole separation of the twins by the parents. It makes very little sense and it really feels like a plot device. Including the whole connection between the twins. I am choosing to ignore it since it's mostly just a plot device to kickstart the initial story but yeah that part is definitely it's weak point that feel completely unrealistic.(also i know he tried really hard but boy that russian is just...not russian)

Good start but I'm pausing the episode 24/7

Ok so... I think this show is off to a good start and I'm very interested in the plot. HoweverI feel the need to pause the episode all the time because of how different White is from Black. I mean yeah, it's realistic that he doesn't know anything about well... anything as he hasn't seen his brother in over 10 years but it just makes watching kinda awkward or more like difficult. Like I'm just waiting for the next thing he's supposed to know as Black but doesn't and then makes a mistake or says something that would 100% out him for being an impostor. (but doesn't for some reason).Anyways, I'm feeling optimistic about this series as what I said earlier (and the parents just disappearing from the story and not knowing about their children's whereabouts) are the only "problems" so far. I've also seen lots of good reviews of this series so I believe watching will become easier soon.

trying to ignore many things (as read a load of positive comments, let alone keep getting recommendation's to watch this); like the whack Russian spoken by White, or the twin psychic connection that's broken by distance(?!?￣へ￣convenient). **********but i Don't get parent's that just ignore the existence of children (cause they separated n took one child, so that's enough for them? the other one ceases to exist??) what freakin logic is this¯\(°_o)/¯?!?********************************************************** also parents just up n deciding things without consulting (idk doctors) someone that can give them knowledgeable info on how to help their children, instead of just up rooting them, let alone separating them. But also get that it was a selfish move, then one made with their kids well-being in mind, and yet logically that shouldn't have cut their "special" bond - as that isn't how it works... *******************************************************************************************************************************also how did Tod have White's phone number?!? as neither the mother nor Black kept in touch with him or the father - ugh these little things gonna do my head in... (n the list of "little tings" is endless) so far i aint impressed (specially with Natthanan's over acting - know he got a ton of fans, sorry but his acting is meeh at best) hope this get's better cause 20 mins in, n i can only see (glaring) plothole's *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************well this didn't get better - White getting his ears pierced n tatt's doesn't turn him into his twin. leave him being a nerd in dress-up (that can't stand-up to his so called friends) how he gonna solve his brother's "mysterious" assault?!?? how his so called friends not calling b.s. on this imposter(?) just to further the plot`(*>﹏<*)′ cause he is nothing like his supposed twin. a freakin strong wind gonna blow him over and he gonna get the bad-guys - how?!? ugh this annoying n frustrating - also where the parents gone?!? why the mother not know her son in ICU, n why the father not wondering where his sick son disappeared too?!? convenient how everything just falling in-line, so this plot will progress(ノω<。)ノ

Already In Love

I'm already so deeply in love with this series that it's concerning. The plot is already so freaking immaculate and it's only the first episode. Gun's acting is so severely impressive that I could cry. I'm loving this secret identity plot so far. There's no doubt that eventually White will get caught, (cause he didn't do a good job of acting like his brother at all.?) so I'm excited to see how that goes done. All of the cast looks GREAT (I've never paid attention to Mond, but shit, that man is beautiful). Another "it's-just-me" thing, but as much as I love Gun and Off, they just don't look like the people to be in gangs. For one, Gun is just so small and cute, that tattoo on him looks so not right that I can't truly explain. If they were going for drug addicts then I could believe it, but string bean Off and small boi Gun being all big and bad will take some getting used to. Anyhow, I still love this first episode.
