Jiu Shi confronts Lan Zhu and is angry with him for keeping his identity a secret. The Obsidian team is shocked to also learn Lan Zhu is an NPC created by Gao Da Wei. He was created to help Jiu Shi reach the last level and was soulless until he met Jiu Shi. He learned to love and experience friendship because of Jiu Shi.
