E haja destino!

What a waste of time.
These are seven stories of seven best friends whose personalities are based on the Thai description of characters associated with a particular day of the week. Reviewing each installment individually~~~═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 1,2
TUESDAY
• Chap as Tue
• Tae as Ake
ALSO SEE THEM IN: Tae will be starting in “You're my skyy”. Chap can be seen in a side role in Lovely Writer, and in the upcoming series, “The Tuxedo”.
RATING: 4.5/10
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: – If you're looking for a sports themed bl with coaching and all that, then I'd suggest Mr. Heart. If you're looking for enemies to lovers then I'd suggest My Gear and your gown, Love by chance (Tincan), Love by chance 2, Why RU?
STORY: Tue is an aspiring Muay Thai coach. On his very first day as an assistant coach he meets an old enemy and they have a faceoff. During their sports camp trio, the coach makes Tue and Ake room together to teach Tue patience so that he can be a better coach and to keep Ake in line
REVIEW: Script issues. In my honest opinion, the actors did the best they could with the storyline they were provided. There wasn't lack of chemistry and both the actors convinced me that they hated each other and were simultaneously attracted to each other. Given that two episodes of 1 hour each is not enough to deal with an entire relationship, the story could've been less of a mess if they hadn't tried to incorporate so many tropes into it.
*Spoiler alert*
They used a gazillion tropes in here: a single interaction wherein Ake cuts into line makes Tue hate him with such gusto. Sickness and the subsequent requisite white towel treatment (because it's a bl). Parental issues to bring the mcs closer to each other. Roommate drama.
Regarding the romance, you can if you're want to, justify every assholish thing done by Ake on the basis of 'attraction'. Ake even goes so far as to tell Tue that he was responsible for arousing him and henceforth must take care of his needs. Furthermore, for someone who vehemently begged the coach to allow him into the team (and also because Ake wants to fulfil his father's dreams), Ake’s behavior of purposefully skipping practice and investing leaves just to look like he has a fever do not comply with the story. Needless to say I couldn't get into their story. Sad because the actors were really trying.
Major plot hole: So Tue gets the chicken pox. Granting that I am not a Thai citizen but an Indian one, I believe that's one disease south east Asian countries are vaccinated against? Even if we allow room for the fact that the hadn't been vaccinated, it doesn't make sense that the entire team isn't down with the disease. Logic #101.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 3,4
SUNDAY
• Max as Sun
• Nat as Nuea
ALSO SEE THEM IN: MaxNat are a side couple in “Why RU?” the series and in the upcoming projects by Mandee (nameless, “Cutie Pie” the series). They're also the main couple in episode 3 of “Close Friend”.
RATING: 4.5/10
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: Why RU?
REVIEW: Can we appreciate Nuea’s style in this? I don't like MaxNat per se, and I don't see the hype around them but their acting was pretty decent and considering that they were given a pretty average story, they carried the episodes well. Notable point, this is a healthy relationship. Not taking advantage of your drunk bf marks the beginnings of a healthy relationship.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 5,6
MONDAY
• Korn as Mon
• Gung as Team
ALSO SEE THEM IN: Korn has a really funny supporting role in YYY the series. They haven't starred together in any other dramas.
RATING: 3.5/10
I have no idea what happened here, it hasn't been many weeks I suppose but that's exactly how forgettable it was. I just remember that there was a confession scene on stage and I could feel the second hand embarrassment through the screen and in my head I was like: somebody end my pain. Yet again, I feel the actors delivered pretty good (like a 6.5/10 for the acting), but the storyline was ridiculous. I also remember being irritated as hell with Team.
Notable mention: awkward pauses. Like longer than the one in kdrama confession scenes. The drawn out soulmate gazing and pauses were just lowering the score at 127 km/s.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 7,8
THURSDAY
• Pi as Thurs
• Au as Pao/Pae
ALSO SEE THEM IN: Pi is part of the secondary couple in YYY the series. They haven't starred together in any other dramas.
RATING: 5.5/10
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: He’s coming to me, Hidden love as these are both bl dramas involving a ghost-seeing boy story ark.
No spoilers for these episodes because you have to watch this at least once. I have only seen Pee Peerawich Ploynumpol in his funny role in YYY and I wasn't sure what he was going to deliver here but he was really vibin’ with his role here! In some places he conveyed his reverence for his art and his feelings quite nicely. Also Pao is the cutest ghost I have ever seen. If you're deciding on which episodes to skip then DON'T SKIP EPISODE 7 & 8, it was probably the most wholesome episode here in terms of their relationship.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 9,10
• Takizawa as Puth
• First as Kaeng
ALSO SEE THEM IN: Tae will be starting in “You're my skyy”. Chap can be seen in a side role in Lovely Writer, and in the upcoming series, “The Tuxedo”.
RATING: 6/10
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: En of Love: Love Mechanics, Side couple in My Gear and your Gown
This is where I pour out my feelings about these two. First of all, First playing Kaeng is impressive. He has a vast expression range: that suggestive smirk directed at Puth, that look of pure adoration when he's studying Puth, the joyous expression when he's around Puth, that kicked-in-the-gut sad puppy eyes he does to move Puth, that death glare he specifically reserves for Payo and lastly the crying scenes. This actor can go from 0 to 100 real quick. Same for Takizawa. He is cute at the right moments but he can be flirty and asshole and hot mean jerk just as well.
Secondly, the nc scenes. I let out a bleh when I saw how effusive fans were being about their nc scenes but they jumped the gun saying that the romance wasn't well developed. Well I beg to disagree. The actors had great chemistry, that's true, but the nc scenes weren't just that—it was the trust Puth had in Kaeng, the way he was letting himself be free with him. Kudos to them for bringing a proper friends-with-benefits relationship to the screen and turning it to something more.
When twenty minutes were left for episode 10 to end I was beginning to wonder how they were going to wrap up these threads at the very end. But it was ended well too! Turns out it wasn't just the audience who noticed how Kaeng was whipped for Puth, Puth isn't one of those typical oblivious characters. It took him time to understand his feelings but he did notice Kaeng’s gestures! The ending really touched me. *SPOILER* When Kaeng told Puth to stay with him for one last time, it was obvious that Puth wasn't sure about it but he cared enough for Kaeng as a friend to not leave him alone. And so he does grant his request which eventually lead him to realize his feelings.
Also, can we appreciate how perfect these two are for each other? Both are flirtatious jerks who are whipped for each other. When Kaeng starts shouting that he has a boyfriend Puth just laughs and urges him to say his name and then proceeds to shout that he has a boyfriend too. Like I cannot with these two—
This was so far my favorite in terms of acting, pacing and character development.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 11,12
• Jaab as Sat
• Ton as Choke
ALSO SEE THEM IN: —
RATING: 5.0/10
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: I have no idea what bl drama to recommend which has similar fantasy-time travel-friendship themes as this one does.
STORY: Sat and Choke have been friends since childhood. Unlike Choke who was satisfied with his status and his chubby figure, Sat wants to be included into Top’s gang. Top is a older than them, plays football and is considered cool in the school. Prior to this, Choke had gifted Sat with a Gundam, a giant robot, which was supposedly magical and it proves its powers when Choke unknowingly presses the button which activates it and it fulfils his wish but this comes with a side effect: he can't be friends with Choke anymore because that's what it takes to be cool, he must cut off his connection from the 'fat' boy. Encouraged by Top, Sat punches him effectively severing their friendship.
Not only do, since Sat wished to be all grown up and part of Top’s gang, he wakes up in the future—mind you his memories are still of the past, the years in between are a gap in his head—and is surprised to find his head in Top’s lap. They are best friends now but Sat wonders why he isn't best friends with Choke, he has no idea that they aren't friends anymore and turns up at Choke’s house to remember his memories. Things spiral from there.
REVIEW: As I scrolled through the comments, I realized that this couple got overlooked a lot as people commented their opinions on the series. For me they were cute. Kind of forgettable maybe but cute.
I think the strongest message here was how our experiences shape us. Whatever choices Sat had or hadn't made had changed him from his innocent naive mentality to a person who played with others’ feelings and was uncaring.
This was quite obviously a rip-off (an adaptation, if you will), of the popular rom-com “13 Going on 30,” which delivered a lot more than this story did and in shorter time.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 13, 14
I am honestly underwhelmed guys. I got some messages here AND a personal dm to complete this review. And here goes: underwhelmed with Yoon, Lay and Perth. Serious injustice to some of my favorite actors (in bl series I mean).
Rating: 6.5/10. See Perthlay in My Engineer and the hypothetical My Engineer 2. Also, Perth go taken out of Kinnporsche so yeah. Seen Yoonlay in YYY (one of my favorites), YYY special and Close friend (episode 4).
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ Ep. 15
Shhitty ending. Everybody gets together. Hugs. Kisses. And they all live happily ever after except of course... you know if you know.
═ ∘♡༉∘ ═══════ OVERALL
Ranking episodes: [13, 14], [9&10], [7&8], [11&12], [3&4], [1&2], [5&6], [15]
These are some points I need to stress about this series.
AWESOME. COSTUMES. Like damn was I tired of the standard issue bl drama uniforms with the stark white shirts and black pants. Everybody here had a distinctive colourful style. Tue was pink, Ake was sporty and casual, Sun was a bit formal, Nuea was rocking the effeminate style (we need more such rep), Mon was sunflower, Team was masculine hot, Pi was a ghost summoner need, Pao was cute (too cute to be a ghost), Puth was sweater and Kaeng went all out with his striking red shirts and earrings.
The director seems to have his signature style. Music was pretty much on point. The actors mostly managed really well.
Overall rating 4.0/10 for an awesome waste of time.
Are you thinking of watching this series?
If you're looking for something mindless and pulpy to watch then go for it. Select the episodes you think you'd like best and watch those first, the stories are not interconnected. Happy watching!

Please watch it for EP 9 &10
While this more an anthology than a full-length drama, Y Destiny is a wild bunch of everything. From boring to Hell (Ep 5&6), to cute but not outstanding (Ep3&4) to an actually interesting story (ep11&12) all stories are more or less mediocre and nothing memorable at all.
But fortunately this one also contains one of the Highlights of the BLs this year so far.
Ep 9&10 are just outstanding.Because it is realistic( when you change the setting from a college to a gay bar), modern and the emotional scenes are just heartbreaking.
Even though it's a love triangle, all the characters are relatable and sympathetic.
Also how sexuality is handled here, I like it very much, because it seems very natural and not so strange and cringey as in the other BLs.
All in all, it is actually a further development in the BL genre, since here the typical clichés were dispensed with.
Conclusion: Y-Destiny is far from being an outstanding series but these two hours are among the best the BL genre has to offer in 2021.

Worth it for episodes 3-4, 9-10, and 13-14
An anthology of ups and downs.Episodes 1-2, Tue&Ake – 4 stars, cringe
Episodes 3-4, Sun&Nuea – 8 stars, super cute
Episodes 5-6, Team&Mon – 4 stars, feel really sorry for Mon, there wasn’t much chemistry between the pair so I didn’t buy into Team really loving Mon.
Episodes 7-8, Thurs&Pae/Pao – 6 stars, it was okay.
Episodes 9-10, Puth&Kaeng – 10 stars, they need their own series like now.
Episodes 11-12, Choke&Sat – 1 star, I can’t even tell you how bad this was, you just need to experience the horror.
Episodes 13-14, Masuk&Jia&Tir – 10 stars automatically because I cried twice, like full on sobbing lol. Definitely had it’s flaws though like I wish the fire scenes were more realistic, but Perth did a great job with the story he was given. Also, in the final ep Tir was so creepy watching Masuk and Jia it was hilarious.
Final ep - nice addition but nothing special overall.
It's such a shame that the storylines were not very well written as all of the actors did such a good job with what they were given.
I found it strange that the friendships weren’t explored more deeply throughout the series, by the end, I had no idea who was friends with who to be honest.
I'll definitely be rewatching episodes 3-4, 9-10, and 13-14 but I'll be avoiding the others like the plague.

It Gave What It Was Suppose To
I did a little research on this series before I started it, and most of it was a lot of negative feedback, so I went in with very little expectations, but I honestly loved it? The dynamics of each couple, getting to see a new plot every two episodes, experiencing the way the stories interlaced and connected; quite truthfully, I'm shocked that the majority didn't like it. Y-destiny stands as an anthology series that showcased 7 unique couples that told very different and compelling stories. Although I enjoyed my time, it obviously had its problems, the first ones starting with the subtitles.Let's dive in.
Looking at the show overall, it was very nicely done. The production was super nice, one of my faves I've seen this year. The setting was one of my all-time favorites (besides IPYTM), I loved all the boys' makeup and the way the light illuminated on them perfectly, I loved the wardrobes (especially Nuea's) and the music was fantastic. Sound effects were a little overused, but other than that, production was top-notch. The subtitles were a dumpster fire. I watched on dramacool, but I don't seem to be the only one that had troubles with it. Other than it skipping entire conversations, it rarely ever read the words on screen or text messages or anything. It also was just horrible grammar. I try not to be too harsh on subtitles though since the intended audience isn't for me, but damn, those were just horrible.
Now onto the couple. I'm going to rank from my favorite couple to my least favorite couple (which won't be hard to guess) But honestly, other than my least favorite couple, this is taking me forever to rank, the stories were all pretty good. Also, I'm basing this off of what truly had me more entertained than anything. Not necessarily which one had the best plot out of them all.
1. Team and Mon - 9/10
I loved their dynamic way too much. The small and cute and innocent boy with the manly, popular badass man is like the stories I love. I think it's more cause this couple reminded m so much of Dean and Pharm and they are one of the best-developed couples, as well as one of the best on-screen chemistry I've ever seen in a BL. Mon was just so adorable, and even just how much he swooned for Team was so cute. All they're BL cliches I loved, the elevator scene was probably one of my favorite. I also liked how the heat scene was handled (even under their circumstances). It was hot and slow and beautiful. Even Mon's friend trying to cheer him up after everything was just perfect. again, going back to the way they have these couples interacting is the best thing ever. The only thing I can think of that was a bit annoying might be the last-minute conflict they added with Team's ex-boyfriend. So unnecessary, and Mon's reaction is so not accurate at all if he'd been paying attention. other than that, the whole betting thing was pretty disgusting, but you can see how it's going to go before the ending, so I didn't mind it. Both actors did really well, Korn is the cutest ever, and his acting was really good. He played up to the bubbly and sweet guy perfectly, For this to be Gung's first acting gig, he did a phenomenal job. Hope we can continue to see more of him.
2. Sun and Nuea - 9/10
Their chemistry was so good in this series than I've seen it in others. Finally, I think that Nat was given a suitable character that was perfect for him. His acting has gotten so much better, still not where it could be, but much better than Why R U or Close Friend. His wardrobe was FABULOUS. I also loved how feminine they made his character out to be. A big pat on the back for him. As for Max, he did a really good job as per usual. Their episodes were petty silly and sweet, but their moments were everything. The way Sun held him when he was "drunk", Sun fangirling over writing (what I'm assuming cause the subtitles were bad) Nuea's name on his window, them having their facetime calls, to even how sensual and consenting the scene with Nuea being "drunk" was. Nuea at the beginning was being pretty gross and inappropriate, the type of behavior that can get you punished for sexual harassment, but this is BL, so we don't take it too seriously. The conflict was pretty avoidable if communication was there in the beginning. Nuea being on live and telling all of his and Sun's personal business was seriously annoying and aggravating, like turn off your phone, this is a private moment, other than that, everything else was good. Another thing to note, their height difference gets two points for itself (same goes for Mon and Team).
3. Puth and Kaeng - 9/10
There's no lying that this story had the best plot out of all of them, which is why it gets the same score as the other two. This was First's ever acting gig, which is so surprising cause he stole the show. From his acting to his wardrobe (my second favorite, it was so sophisticated and sexy. That red outfit???? Flawless), everything about him was perfect, His and Toru's chemistry was off the charts. Their heated moments (and they had plenty) were so well done and so natural that at times I had to look away cause it felt like I was intruding on an intimate moment that I wasn't supposed to be a part of. There is no surprise as to why they were the popular couple out of all of them, as well as their episodes being the most-watched. But, I actually really liked Payu, but that's because my mind automatically likes the second-options always. I felt bad for him, but we all knew how it was going to end. The only thing I found a bit off was Puths' sudden shift in really wanted to be with Kaeng when he wanted nothing to do with him 2 seconds before. Realization can hit you, but not that hard. Obviously, they only had two episodes to work with, so I wasn't all that mad about it, but it was a bit bothersome. Also, the way Puth treated Kaeng was just really hurtful. It was obvious to anyone that Kaeng liked him, and I honestly don't see the whole point in him only wanting to be friends with benefits. There was just no reason why. It could've been because he wasn't wanting to date, but that option flew out the window when he started pursuing Payu. A weird conflict, but again, they needed something. I'm judging just a bit more than the others cause they did have the most well-developed plot and I can be nit-picky if I want to. Anyways, nice acting, nice chemistry, and a very nice story.
4. Masuk, Jia, and Tir - 8/10
I originally watched this for Tay and Perth cause I love them so much, but we see very little of them in their episodes (mostly because Tir is dead for the majority of it). Even with the scoring, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love their story. even Jia was just such a heartthrob and so slow and gentle with Masuk. I think my favorite scene was them at Jia's house. The only thing I wanted more of was some time for us to see that chemistry between them. It was more of Jia just having big flirty eyes for Masuk, and Masuk sulking and staring into his eyes for a way too uncomfortable amount of time. I loved the mystical side of the series, showing that even if Masuk had accompanied Tir, he still would've tried to save the boy and he was going to die no matter what. The only thing was, Lay's acting felt lacking in these episodes. His hair was great and his wardrobe was awesome, but he was just so stoic for the episodes. I realize that his boyfriend had died, but I wanted him to be a lot sadder than what we'd see him try to be. I loved that Jia and he got together, but Tir still being present was just kind of weird and disturbing. I was thinking he was going to leave after his and Masuk's little conference, but nope, he was there the entire time, even for their little trip. It was definitely giving low-key threesome vibes. It would've been better had he'd just dissapeared. Again, the acting was decent, Perth was a cutey, and Jia being a gentle and concenting giant was perfect.
5. Sat and Choke - 7/10
I LOVE myself a good friend to lover trope. This one was plotted out differently than I have ever seen, but I really liked it. I liked how Sat was discovering him being 18, and just his journey of being a little boy stuck in a man's body. He's going back to choke was super cute, I loved their dynamic, their chemistry was super sweet, and their shyness added to my overall love for them. Their backstory added so much to the story, even the premise with the toy robot. At first, I was sure why they did the anime portion of this series since they had the actual younger actors present, but the kiss at the last episode was a bit much and a little uncomfortable, even in anime style, they were just a little too young, so it wasn't like some like magical moment. With that, I know that Sat was 18, but he was technically still young and a minor, so their little handsy moment was a bit -- eh. I would also love this couple a lot more if they didn't go back and forth between English and Thai. it was a bit annoying, just because Jaab seemed like a really good English speaker, and Ton wasn't bad either, except he was the greatest and was better off just speaking Thai. I don't know what the point of doing that was for, and it just distracted me from what they were saying cause I was only focused on them speaking English. Both actors did a really good job, and I hope to see this duo in another series, one with more screen time.
6. Thurs and Pao/Pae - 5/10
Although I think Pee (god, what an interesting name) is the cutest thing ever, his episodes seemed to be the one that didn't catch my attention until the very end. The first episode was really boring, it was a lot of story building, but it was just too long. Pao was really cute, I liked how precious he acted as a ghost, and his bit of difference as a human. Their scene at the carnival was really cute, and a phenomenal job was done when they were parting ways. The actors did a good job. Nothing was super bad about their episode, it was pretty mediocre and cute, but not really my cup of tea.
7. Ake and Tue - 4/10
I don't understand how some people actually enjoyed this episode the most? Why? and be honest, cause nothing was really good. I'm not a fan of enemies to lovers, but the whole premise of Tue being mad cause he cut in line??? Are we 6? and their aggression towards each other was cringe like hell. what was the reason for standing so close? I had to look away at times cause it was just too much. also, they just kind of go from hating each other to then being all shy and adorable together? Felt like we missed a whole part, it was not giving what it was supposed to. Nothing about this couple I really enjoyed, I guess their chemistry was nice, but that's really it. I think they were trying to create this internal lust for each other through aggression and the face-to-face contract, but it came off cringe and weird. But, I really liked them in the last episode which is the only reason this now has a 4 instead of the original 3.
Overall, this series was enjoyable. getting to see the next dynamic of a new couple was pretty fun, and for most of the couples, I really loved watching them. I'd recommend this anthology series, it was the better ones of the others I've seen. Nice plot, really good acting, and a phenomenal OST.

A comfort show
First I would like to say, dont go into it looking for plot that goes in depth, you wont find it with the time crunch of 2 eps per couple just pull back your expectations and you'll enjoy it just fine. My ranking for each story is as follows (my opinion):8.5 + 8.5: TueAke's story I loved their chemistry, bit messy at parts but I was still able to enjoy it with a smile.
4 + 6: SunNuea I personally couldn't stop cringing their first episode, don't really think the aggressively flirty fits Nat in my opinion and Max as the shy tutor was just weird for me. Their second episode was better in terms of acting and the script but it was still just alright for me.
8.5 + 9: TeamMon is another of my top faves, their story was really interesting and the acting was great, made me emotional in their second episode so I enjoyed it more. I commend Korn for playing such a bashful character, must've not been easy and Gung with the changed playboy, loved his acting.
8 +10 PaoThur: Omg their story moved me so much, their acting was amazing, their plot really grabbed me. I was very much invested in them. They left me wanting more. I applaud Pee and Au with their amazing chemistry.
8.5+9.5: KaengPuth: Some things were unclear but were answered in their special episode, so be sure to check it out. Perfect chemistry, amazing acting. Nothing else to say besides, I pray Toru and First get their own series.
8.5 +7.5 ChokeSat: I was honestly enjoying their story and did but it somehow fell apart for their second story, it felt rushed so I rated it lower than their first. I did enjoy Ton and Jaab's chemistry they were just given a complicated storyline to work with but made it work how they could. I also just never understood the purpose of the language swap besides for entertainment, I suppose.
9.5+9 HiaMasuk/Tir: Tears, pain and bittersweetness. Definitely the deeper plotline that I personally loved. Being familiar with Lay, Yoon and Perth; I was prepared for their level of acting and of course they didn't disappoint me. Where as the writing is what fell at parts concerning Tir. It was a beautiful story about not living in the past and moving on from what can't be changed.
9 Everyone: Pure fluff and I loved it. Not a huge fan about Tir's fate but I get they wanted Perth around for the last episode, the rest was adorable and had me smiling non-stop.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for something to bring them comfort after a long day.

Overall the series was really good....kissing scene need to be alot better and more realistic so the audience can feel real love between the characters that are portaying.( if you can't kiss another man while acting then you shouldn't be getting roles in BL series period.)
This is the first all male BL series actors.....all of them are very attractive and they pair them off well.

Too Much Sweetness
Looking for a reason to go to the dentist? LOOK NO FURTHER! Lactose intolerant? TURN BACK! This show was super cheesy and so sweet you'll probably get a cavity lol One of the worst things about BL dramas is they never give the side couples enough love, but I did appreciate that all the couples got an even/decent amount of scree time here. I liked it was different in telling everyone's story couple by couple, not by throwing it all together miscellaneously(it's hard to remember couple stories and even names when they do that). Yes, some of their stories were basic and cliché but I don't think it's a bad series. There were visuals all around and I gotta admit the ending was super satisfying and cute (CHEESY THOUGH) Unfortunately, that's really all the praise I can give...Enjoy...

I would love to say that I loved it. Unfortunately I can't. It was rather boring and it dragged terribly, it felt as if the director and/or editor completely missed the cue so in many cases, the scenes just went past the moment when you felt like someone should've yelled cut. Some pairings were cute or at least interesting despite the boring writing but it simply wasn't enough. Even the last story focused on Lay Talay's character simply wasn't good per se.And to top it off, there were so many cringe-worthy moments, like when one of the pairing ended up calling each other "Papi" & "Daddy" *shudders* Yeah, I'm really not into the whole "Daddy" kink, yikes! Or when in two of the pairings one half had to literally ask their partner for permission to meet up with friends for drinks. That was so yikes!
The most interesting and original moments for me happened in the last story with Lay Talay about Masuk who, after the death of his lover, Tir, fell in love with Hia but Tir still hung around as a ghost - all the time, literally. I mean, in similar stories, the ghost usually leaves after finding peace but Tir remained with them so it felt more like a threesome because, well, like I said, he stayed with them. all. the. time. Even while they were being intimate. That was quite... well, kinky.
This drama also allowed me to find two newbie actors whose career I'll definitely follow: Chap Suppacheep who played Tue in the first story and then First Piyangkul who played the promiscuous Kaeng. These two caught my eye the most out of the new ensemble.
Still, eh.

Breaking it down
I rated the whole series a 3.5, but I wanted to break it down into each couple.Tue and Ake (Ep 1 & 2): I loved this one, and I think it was a great start. It is a little weird how fast the tide turned between them, but there were only two episodes to tell the story. ****
Sun and Nuea (Ep 3 & 4): This one was good. I enjoyed both episodes, and it had a complete story. *** 1/2
Mon and Team (Ep 5 & 6): I wanted to like this one, but it was my second to least favorite. Mon is adorable, but the story didn't make as much sense to me (especially Team's behavior). ** 1/2
Thurs and Pae (Ep 7 & 8): My least favorite, and it didn't have anything to do with one of them being a ghost. Thurs was cheating people out of money, which I thought was pointless to the story line and made me think less of him as a character. **
Puth and Kaeng (Ep 9 & 10): I was expecting to like this one the least, but these two actors blew my socks off. If you don't watch any of the rest of the show, watch episodes 9 & 10. *****
Sat and Choke (Ep 11 & 12): The story was a little convoluted, with there being not 1 but 2 wishes, but I thought the story was cute and enjoyed watching it. ****
Masuk, Tir, and Jia (Ep 13 & 14): It was too weird for me. I didn't enjoy the story at all. I think that for what it was Perth, Yoon, and Lay did a great job, though. **1/2
The last episode was cute, except for Sat and Choke's story.

7 stories, the series gets better from Story 3 (Ep 5) onwards
I thought the series would be a confusing mess with seven different couples, but luckily it simply focuses on one couple at a time for Episodes 1-14. (Ep 15 features all of them but is rather pointless.) This approach is similar to the En of Love approach, but Y-Destiny does it better as it sufficiently introduces characters in the later episodes before the focus is on them.I find the first two stories the weakest though the couples are cute.
1. Tue and Ake: The line between tension and attraction is blurred as two boxers’ hostility towards each other suddenly turns into attraction. Sometimes Tue looks bashful, but the dialogue is full of sexual double entendre, with references to “itchy”, “blowing” away the itch on chickenpox blisters, treating chickenpox with “injections”. I don’t mind this but wish there had been more subtlety.
2. Sun and Nuea: Sun is given an assignment to tutor a wealthy brat (they are both college students though) who is hoping to get an internship. Despite his initial dislike for Nuea, Sun starts finding Nuea cute, but it’s harder to tell whether Nuea really likes Sun or is playing a prank. The “story” seems more like an excuse for lots of BL scenes.
3. Mon and Team: A playboy competes against others of his ilk by trying to score maximum points in their depraved game (of seeing who can score more victories in bed). Managing to get an innocent virgin scores the most points, so this is what Team sets out to do. Oncewe know the premise, we can predict most other things, including how the playboy will fall in love for real and how he has a sob story of his own. Despite the cliched story, the two episodes of this story are competently made and the best of the three episodes so far.
The story is largely coherent and paced well. The acting and cinematography are quite on point too. Mon can be rather exasperating in that he isn’t even really being cheated because he has been warned about Team, but the actor manages to convey the foolishness of someone in love and arouse sympathy for him. The second episode could simply have ended happily at the point when Mon and Team patch up, but an additional scene after it helps to end the story more nicely, hinting at the trust issues that can continue to plague a relationship after the trust has been breached once. (There’s still a happy ending, but it’s not a simplistic one.)
4. Thurs and Pao (Pae): a ghost story with a dash of time travel. Thurs (Mon’s friend from Story 3) meets a ghost but soon enough falls in love with the ghost. Pao is cute though the cutesiness may have been overdone. There is a happy ending though the explanation of the events is a too reliant on the revelations of an apparently all-knowing monk. There seems to be some inconsistency in the script as sometimes Pao seems to be so clueless that he doesn’t even know who he is (Thurs gives him the name) but at other times seems to know more than he is telling Thurs. (It could be because his ghostly powers increase with all the merit that is accumulated for him, but there’s no clear explanation.)
This story has the cutest couple of the four stories so far, dispensing with the sexual tension in the earlier stories and presenting an innocent and sweet relationship instead. A pity that the subtitles were a little confusing, with a tendency to turn singular pronouns into plural pronouns and (I think) even reverse the subject/object of sentences (e.g. “I seem familiar to you” instead of “You seem familiar to me”),
5. Puth and Kaeng / Payu: Puth and Kaeng are both promiscuous players. Surprisingly, the focus seems to be a bit more on Kaeng – despite his reputation for being promiscuous, he is obviously in love with Puth, his sex buddy (a relationship that they can barely conceal from their friends). We see his inner thoughts and jealousy as Puth begins to fall for Payu. The characterization of Puth is a little baffling for he is a multi-timing promiscuous guy but he also appears shy and innocent when he is with Payu (and doesn’t seem to be pretending).
I thought the story could head towards a sad ending, but it doesn’t.
6. Sat and Choke: another story with supernatural elements, An eleven-year-old boy makes wishes that are granted by a wish-granting gundam. After wishing that he is a popular grown-up, he wakes up in a world where he (and everyone else) has aged by seven years. He does not remember what has happened in the last seven years, and visits his best friend, Choke. He has forgotten why he has stopped being friends with Choke (which doesn’t make sense since the broken friendship happens before he makes the wish to be an adult). This story is somewhat slow-moving at times, but it is fairly nice to watch. Nonetheless, it can be a little disturbing that Sat, who magically becomes eighteen years old but is still mentally eleven, starts doing adult stuff with Choke.
7. Masuk and Tir/Jia: This story gives quite a different feel from the rest of the stories in the series and one may wonder how much of a BL story it really is. The decision to put it as the last story may be because of this. The drawback, however, is that putting it as the last story may cause audiences to dislike it because it isn’t what they are expecting.
My opinion may not be shared by many, but I think this is the most serious and mature piece in the whole series. It is rather slow-moving in the first episode, but this helps to bring across the grief that Masuk feels after the death of his boyfriend Tir. Masuk’s grief is mixed with remorse as he feels that he could have prevented Tir from dying had he been punctual for their date. The story doesn’t let him change fate like the characters in in Stories 4 and 6, but he manages to find out something that helps him get over his remorse and move on even as he cannot forget Tir. Thematically, this story echoes Stories 4 and 6, but is more nuanced in the theme of the good being rewarded. It’s also surprisingly realistic in terms of how Masuk doesn’t just suddenly get over Tir and lovey-dovey with Jia.
Overall:
My favorite stories: Masuk X Tir/Jia, Thurs X Pao and Puth X Kaeng
My favorite couple: Thurs X Pao

Unpopular Opinion But I Enjoyed this series !
Tue & Ake : It was very much a hate to lovers type of story which I personally enjoy! The couple were fun and cute.Rating : 8/10
Sun and Nuea : Honestly. Unpopular opinion but they were one of my favorite couples! Nuae is so playful and Sun is so innocent and I found it so cute and hilarious.
Rating : 8.5/10
Mon and Team : This was pretty much a playboy going for someone innocent who happens to be Mon. Team intention was to score with Mon for points but Team falls for Mon. I kinda liked the story line for this one and how it all went down.
Rating : 7.5/10
Thurs and Pao : Let me tell you! This was one of the funnier couples and it is a fantasy theme. I don't personally like fantasy dramas but I loved this one a lot! Thurs meets a ghost who he names Pao. They began a wholesome friendship which turned into love. But.. I won't spoil much but Pao starts disappearing but later they meet again!
Rating : 9/10
Puth and Kaeng : When I tell you STRONG tension.. Puth is a guy who didn't want to settle down. Well Puth and Keang were pretty much friends with benefits. Well. Puth meets a guy who he ends up falling for so he wanted to stop having sex with Keang. The problem was that Keang fell for Puth and wanted to continue seeing him while Puth wanted to peruse this other man he met.
Rating : 10/10
Sat and Choke : Now this story was a supernatural theme. I LOVED this couple so much. This is another couple with great tension. It starts of in a cartoon type of setting when they were kids which is cute to me. Sat & Choke are best friends but Sat really wanted to be friends with the "cool" kids. Well he had an opportunity and he took it. The condition was for him was that he had to do something mean to Choke which he did and the "cool" kids fooled Sat and that is when the time travel to the future happens where he becomes 18 and is confused. The story continues from there.
Rating : 10/10
Masuk and Tir/Jia : To keep this one simple, Masuk is stuck on his lover who has passed away (Tir). Jia comes in with the intention to take care of Masuk.
Rating : 8 / 10
Last Episode : Loved it . It was sweet and adorable. I will say, I personally wished that Tir was not ALWAYS falling Masuk and Tir around. Other than that it was great!
Rating : 10/10
