confessions really has an interesting plot. i just watch aoi tori because of Kanata Hongo. i somehow thought they give you the same feeling when you watch em.

Both are slow paced, dreamy with calm male lead, moral teachings, learning, a good slice of life , school drama, repentance, character development.

Both drama feature school teachers trying to fix their classroom, sometimes using unconventional methods.
