Doulou Continent's Sequel Lives upto the Expectations!

We have answers to all your questions- is this a new story or a continuation of the prequel? Has the ensemble casting changed? Is the new casting any good?

If you have watched “Douluo Continent” and are a huge fan of the original casting, then you might be slightly disconcerted with the new setup. Starring Zhou Yi Ran & Zhang Yu Xi, the show is a revamped version of the original. They probably call it Season Two, because the storyline is extended from Season One. For those, who haven’t watched the prequel, there is a backstory rehash by Xiao Wu who recounts the tales from their childhood. There is slight diversion from the prequel because Tang San & Xiao Wu are portrayed by child actors, unlike Xiao Zhan & Wu Xuan Yi who played the adult versions when they first met. If you were a diehard fan of the original casting, it will take sometime to get used to the new casting. But once you move past that obstacle, “The Land of Warriors” is an enjoyable watch. As Shrek Academy wins the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Competition, the team gets embroiled in a controversy when Xiao Wu accidentally reveals her true identity. To save her, the entire team fights back and later they are separated. The storyline focuses on their individual development as each of the characters work on getting strong, so they can fight against Bi Bi Dong & the Martial Soul Hall.
