One is fantasy and the other not, but both have similar elements. The FL begins the dramas having lost a portion of her memory, and the plot alternates between the past in flashbacks and present to explain the events of what happened when she and a group of people were stranded on an island. In both dramas there is a killer amongst the group and she must figure out who it is in present day. Both dramas also involve the FL meeting the ML shortly before the events on the island and the two forming a strong bond there.
While one is historical and the other modern day, both have the common theme of time travel within a loop in which the main couple are trying to change past events to prevent tragedy in the present/future.
