Till Ep 14 its 10! ep 14-16 it's 0!

I am very angry with the ending, but before that i really wanted to write a good review to this :)
If you are looking to watch this or not i that it will help you to know that if you watched Shopping King Louis and liked it, you will like this too! If not, then you might not like this.
The main girl acts like a 5 year old. extremely stupid. The main lead is mature and nice and cute.
but the stupidity of the main girl slowly grew on me and it became hilarious and i loved it a lot. She was extremely positive despite all the hardships she had to face.
This drama was filling my world with hope and happy feelings xD you know when you watch this the world seems like a beautiful and kind place.
very cute, lovely, and bubbly, and funny. the whole place she moved into and the people there. it all seems very nice and kind, that makes you want to live there :)
if you don't like that, then you might hate this drama :) so i recommend watching the trailer. :)

What i liked:
-the main leads, and side characters
-the positivity to the point of stupidity
-the music and piano love
-the side doctor
-the ahjummas
-the kids
-the gangster xD

What i disliked:
-endingggg!!!!!!!!!!!!
-the writer who ruined this xD lol

I want to fight with the writer for ruining this!!!! T_T I was going to give this a full 10! but the last two eps made it fall even into 6! if it was like the last two eps i would have given it one. Like this type of Dots ending was already used a lot and too many times! It seems like the writer was using all cliches but always making them into something different, something funny, something cute, and unusual, and now suddenly at the last two eps someone told the writer they want this and the writer decided to do what they want and did it in an absolutely uninteresting extreme cliche way. :(
whyyyyyy :((( I loved this soo much if not for that ending :( thinking how much nice feelings and hope it gave me I will still give it at least 8.5. maybe 9? lol 8.5 seems too little for the 14 eps and 9 seems too much for the last two eps xD

anyway if you liked shopping king you will like this till ep 14 maybe :)
you might like this if you liked strong woman do bong soon too :)
but if you don't like stupidity or don't find it funny you might hate this a lot so i won't recommend it :)

-1.5 for the ending. The ending is absolute 0! no even worse it's -1999000 xD but everything before it was 10 for me :) so i think after some thought i will still include it in my favs.
and i never rewatch dramas so i just put random number in there.

BE WARNED ENDING WILL LEAVE YOU WISHING THEIR WAS MORE

I was really enjoying the drama the story was really good it really threw me off the fact that the MC was a high schooler so that was kinda eh and then towards the ending they tried to fit in as much drama as they could into the final episodes which were totally unnecessary especially the whole old friend comes back and is now a "rival" all of sudden (personally I skipped the entire episode because I just found that ridiculous. Also, the fact that they killed him off in the last episode and then revived him five years later (seriously though what is up with all these time skips). So essentially it was good and then they just had to rush everything and leave the audience unsatisfied with their makeshift ending.

Blatant emotion manipulation and redirection

This show does is its best to keep you guessing to make u look one way while the other hand does the work

At the end it plays both possible ending as truth instead of a dream scenario or flat out pick one.. which is where a lot of the anger and frustration comes from for this.

1 through 13 even 14 is great. Those last 2 were just mind games to manipulate the viewers. I thought it was oddly refreshing.

Cliche ending would have worked too and probably less contraversial but the writers did what they did... why? Who knows maybe to have the net go off on them maybe jusg cause they wanfed to just wqnted to satisfy bothnsides and endednup doing neither.

Good show. Be careful of ending

I just finished it few minutes ago but I'm disapointed a lot.
The last episode totally ruined the whole series. If the writer chose to leave Jun dead it would be much better, it's not that I didn't like him, it's just that it's not real at all. The actors did a great job so that makes me even more mad.
When I finally reconciled the fact that he's ill and that he will propably die, they ended it with Jun being a total jerk and making his mother tell Ra-Ra that he's dead and then come after 5 years back to her and tell her that he's healthy now and that basically he was faking his death for 5 years!? I loved this drama at the beginning but it took a half an episode to completly change my mind. But I don't want to be just critical and I want to say that the OST was nice and the actors were great. It's really a shame, I think it would be better either without his illnes or if it would be needed than the sad ending wouldn't actually be that bad but I'm really disapointed because I had high expectations. If you still want to watch it I recommend to watch it just till ep 15.

Great casting and cute story but terrible, disappointing ending

Honestly i really loved watching this drama, I remember watching it every Wednesday while it was airing... I'm always happy when they normalise nunna relationships as well!



But dang those last like what? 20 mins? ruined the whole thing lol i dont know what they were thinking?! I honestly just kinda erase that part from my memories which is why the overall rating i put isn't that bad.
The fact that he faked his own death??? To avoid truly breaking up with her and hurting her? That's the stupidest thing it makes me so mad. The entire storyline was so cute and the actors were so adorable too and I loved the piano theme and the soundtrack and the dynamics between the characters etc. I was truly disappointed when they ruined the ending this way. Sure they end up together but it's not even satisfying.

I wouldn't ever be able to rewatch this knowing the dumb ending, although I don't regret watching it in the first place because as I said, it's really only the last part of the last episode that's ridiculous.

Bad ending to a good series

Big fan of GoAhRa, she plays her role pretty well in anything thrown at her. You are surrounded, Hwarang all good series to watch.
I have no complaints with her acting in this as well. A go easy stupid girl starts learning about the world.
Lee was also pretty good hilarious how even I was surprised by his roles age. He played character to the sleeve showing the kind of childish love but a mature exterior in the worldly things.
The support cast was brilliantly fit into the main story without them the story would not come along. It was very pleasant to watch till episode 14. It has the comedy, suspense, and love requires for the series. Till the big bomb dropped.

But even then it was pretty good the ML is written off as dead in episode 15 by the mother. But the nonsense was the climax the last 2 mins of the episode 16. I was ok with him dying also and that the FL was living with his love and memories etc.

Then he comes back from the dead what ??!!!
They should have either let him be dead or changed the way the conversation went between the mother and FL in episode 15 or atleast the reduced the time forward in episode 16. 5 F yrs, are you crazy who would believe that a guy u loved and mourned for 5yrs comes back from the dead.

Crazy stuff, my suggestion end the series 2 mins before the climax of episode 16 and u will go home with a satisfied series, though a sad ending but u will not lose the love u had for it for 16 episodes u watched

Sweet story

I enjoyed this drama. I love Go Ah Ra, she’s one of my favorite actresses, and this was a perfect role for her. Lee Jae Wook is a new favorite for me. I loved him in Extraordinary You, I was happy to see him in a lead roll. Jun and RaRa had great chemistry, I thought. The mystery behind DoDoSolSolLaLaSol was fun to try and figure out. The rest of the cast were endearing and it was fun to follow their story lines. Some people had issues with the age difference between the leads, not that it was that big of a gap, but he was still in HS. When you fall in love with someone, you don’t think “oh, I’m not old enough to fall in love with her yet.” I thought their maturity levels matched well, he was younger but acted older and she was older but seemed younger.

I don’t tend to over analyze kdramas, I watch for the entertainment factor, so I can’t tell if there were plot holes or anything like that. I was entertained by this drama and looked forward to it every week. I thought the ending was a tad wonky, but it was a happy one, so I was satisfied.

If you looking for a fluffy filler, this would be a cute drama to watch.

A very good drama that had a disappointing ending ?

I really enjoyed watching this drama. The cast was amazing in my opinion, the main leads and the supporting roles were all fantastic. There was a point where I thought that this was gonna be one of the best dramas of all time but towards the ending I felt like there were too many unnecessary things happening and the last episode completely let me down. I would not say it was a sad ending and I hate sad ending as they make my heart cry for days but maybe a sad ending would have been a better option for this drama. It’s overall a very good drama that you’ll enjoy, apart from the ending🥰
