One of my favorite dramas
At times, this is the typical contract relationship plot of the warm woman/cold/man variety, but it subverts expectations every episode. I've seen dramas like this and was pleasantly surprised by the screenwriters' choices, especially concerning the FL. Yes, she can be a little naive (especially when it comes to trusting people, wow), but she learns pretty quickly. The ML is also a little naive when it comes to romance, but the leads grow together in this aspect. They also have a natural chemistry and great communication. Whenever there's a misunderstanding, usually everything is resolved in an episode. The romance follows a realistic flow, and the plot isn't too forced.That being said, I hated the FL's friends' plot which is why the story isn't a 10. They both jumped to conclusions left and right and I couldn't understand why they were together at the end. A breakup should have been their happy ending. I will definitely rewatch this, but I will completely skip any of their scenes because it's so frustrating.

A breeze to watch.
Ok, this is by far the most enjoyable if not the best (at least for my taste anyways) drama I've watched during this pandemic. Save for the scenes of the Zhi Yi-Lin Nuo couple, I never skipped any scenes, which says so much for me. Zhi-Yi's just annoying in every scene, except for maybe a couple of scenes where she encouraged/defended Yun Shu. I must commend Zhao Luo Ran for her crying scenes, though. I like it when actors cry like any normal person does. Like, with red swollen eyes and eyes brimming and overflowing with tears. Not "crying" but still trying to look good, I like actors who could cry like how a person normally does, even with snot and all, it that makes sense.The drama had its share of flaws but I appreciate that there were no overly annoying antagonists for the main couple and exasperating misunderstandings (especially those due to lack of communication) between the main couple. This is the first Miles Wei or Shu Ruo Han drama I've watched and I must say, I liked their acting. MW may have played an aloof and somewhat naive guy but he played it so well, without acting emotionless and going overboard with the poker face. He also as good comedic timing and his little facial expressions are done quite well. I liked SRH's acting, too. Her acting is a breath of fresh air, comparing it to other actresses playing the same student/immature/naive roles. Her role got herself into a lot of trouble and was quite the ditz but her acting was never annoying. I found every characters' lines and interactions quite natural and realistic, too. Like, the Yun Shu-Yun Lan sisters' dialogues/interactions/relationship, for me, is realistic. Overall, this is an uncomplicated, feel good drama. Recommended for those sick and tired of all the negativity in the real world. A must watch (and rewatch)! 💕
Edit: I forgot to add, I'm just a viewer and don't know anything about drama productions and all that but I don't understand why dramas who go all out on locations and other things skimp on the costume department. Like in this case, Yun Shu keeps wearing the same clothes. Like, the same skirt (if not the whole outfit) in every latter episode. I just don't get it. I'm an ordinary person and I have a lot of clothes, and I imagine actors have so much more (plus they could get sponsors) so I cannot comprehend how they'd just go with whatever they let them wear (to the point that it does not look realistic anymore). If it were me, I'd rather wear my own personal clothes. Well, that's just me.

My most favorite Chinese drama.
প্রথমেই একটা প্রশ্ন দিয়ে শুরু করি! যারা Dating in the Kitchen দেখতে বসার আগে ভালো করে দরজা জানালা বন্ধ করে নিতেন, তারা এটা দেখতে বসলে কি করবেন? 🤣🤣🤣রোমান্টিক-কমেডি জনরার ড্রামা। সচারচর আর আট/দশটা ড্রামার সাথে খুব একটা পার্থক্য নেই। নায়ক সুপার জিনিয়াস কিন্তু লাইফ নিয়ে উদাসীন, নায়িকা বোকাসোকা কিন্তু প্রাণোচ্ছ্বল! ভাগ্যক্রমে দুজন দুজনের কাছাকাছি আসে এবং প্রেমে পড়ে। এই তো... সিম্পল কাহিনী। তাই না দেখলেও তেমন কোন ক্ষতি নেই।
না দেখলেও আহামরি কিছু মিস করবেন না, তবুও কেন দেখবেন এই ড্রামা, এবার সেটা নিয়ে কিছু বলি...
১/ নায়িকা বোকাসোকা হলেও ছ্যাচড়া না। সে প্রথমেই নায়কের প্রেমে পড়ে ঠিকই, কিন্তু যে মূহুর্তে দেখে যে নায়ক তার জন্য স্পেশাল কিছু ফিল করে না, সেই মূহুর্তে বাসা ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে আসতে দ্বিতীয়বার ভাবে না। গাধী হলেও প্রাইড স্ট্রং! কাইন্ড, হেল্পফুল। হাসিখুশি একটা মেয়ে। পুরো ড্রামা শেষ করার পর এই মেয়ের প্রেমে না পড়ে কিছুতেই পার পাবেন না!!
২/ ফ্রেন্ডশীপ আর স্ট্রং ফ্যামিলি বন্ড। এই বন্ড রিপ্লাই ১৯৮৮ কিংবা গো এহেডের মত না। বরং আরো ম্যাচিউরড। নায়িকাদের তিনজনের গ্রুপটার ফ্রেন্ডশীপ, নায়িকার সাথে তার বোনের সম্পর্ক, নায়কের সাথে তার দাদার সম্পর্ক, নায়িকার তার কাজিনের প্রতি যে সিম্প্যাথি, নায়কের সাথে তার বন্ধু আর কলিগদের সম্পর্ক... তাদের বন্ডিংটা... অলীক কুসুম কাল্পনিক না, একদম রিয়েলিস্টিক দেখানো হয়েছে।
৩/ প্রচুর কিসিং সিন আছে। নায়িকাই বেশি প্রো-এক্টিভ!! তবে বাড়াবাড়ি কিছু নেই, একদম ন্যাচারাল সব। স্যাটিসফাইয়িং একটা ভাব আসে ড্রামা শেষ হবার পর।
৪/ মেইন লীড কাপল বাদে বাকি দুইটা যে সাইড কাপল দেখানো হয়েছে, তাদের কেমিস্ট্রিটা অসাধারণ। Love is Sweet এ যেমন নায়িকার বান্ধবী যেমন ছ্যাচড়ামি করে নায়কের কাজিনের জন্য, এখানে সেরকম কিছু নেই। এখানকার সাইড কাপল গুলাও যথেষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্বসম্পন্ন। এই জিনিসটা অনেক বেশি স্যাটিসফাইং।
৪.৫/ এখানে কেউই হুট করে কারো প্রেমে পড়ে না। দীর্ঘ একটা সময় জানাশোনার পরেই তারপরে প্রেমটা আসে। এটাও অনেকটা রিয়েলিস্টিকভাবে দেখানো হয়েছে।
৫/ সেকেন্ড মেল লিড এবং সেকেন্ড ফিমেল লিড আছে। অন্যান্য ড্রামায় যেমনটা দেখানো হয়, তারা ভিলেন, নায়ক বা নায়িকার জন্য যে কোন কিছু করতে প্রস্তুত... এখানে তারা এমন না। এখানে তারাও যথেষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্ব সম্পন্ন। একবার যখন নায়িক/নায়িকা মানা করে দেয়, এরপরেই তারা রাস্তা মাপে, ভিলেনগিরির পথে না গিয়ে।
৬/ ১১ তম এপিসোডে নায়িকার ঘর মুছতে মুছতে একটা ড্যান্স আছে! পুরাই আমার মত নাচে!!! মানে বাসায় কেউ না থাকলে আমিও এমনে নাচি আরকি... 🤣🤣🤣

Drama so sweet you'll get diabetes.
I accidently stumbled upon this gem. Nothing new with the story premise - contractual marriage. However, this drama was well written, no childish antics or evil side characters.I did find the female lead's way of talking too nasally and childish but it got better and stopped being a bother. There's a natural development in their relationship. No one had to change themselves for the other. No one was forced into doing anything they didn't want. There's lots of respect, skinship, back hugs and kisses. The leads act very naturally, so it's an easy buy in. In certain angles, the female lead reminds me to korean singer/actor Suzy in the olden days. Relationship with grandpa is also very cute, like when he addresses his grandpa as academic Zhang, and grandpa calls him asst. Prof Zhang.
Although there isn't much of a plot to pick apart, the only thing I couldn't buy into was how the scald on her ankle can render her immobile. It would have been better to give her a sprained ankle.
The costume department should get claps as well for not dressing the female lead like an overgrown doll like most other drama. Her clothes suits her very well and her wedding dress was divine. Other drama put their actors in the ugliest dress possible and telling the audience that it's dreamy. The innuendos are also appropriate and funny. There are a few things in the plot that don't make sense but considering that this is a fluff drama, it's forgiven. I didn't like the ending but it won't stop me from rewatching. I could not help smiling while watching the leads.
I did somehow notice that the running color theme is mossy green. House, car, clothes. Mostly mossy green.

sugar candy sweetness...... you will smile a lot
this is a very sweet easy to watch drama (it did what love is sweet couldnt do for me with the ist 10 episodes i endured)... i have been longing for a new nice sweet contract marriage drama and i am so happy i gave this a try.. at first i was worried it will be another chinese drama i will drop because i didnt like the female lead's acting at first but she really got better throughout the drama.... i will rewatch this whenever i want to smile and be happy.boy did i hate the music in this drama.... i rolled my eyes everytime they kissed or had contact and that 'ha haa haa haa haa haa' song started (kill me please lol) i wish they could take out all the soundtracks completely from the drama lol.... also when the male lead was trying to be defensive of her at first lol the acting was off sometimes lol....
the side characters were cute although her best firend used to annoy me flying into conclusions like that... but they were really cute. i love that the love triangles were decent and respectful.... i really liked lawyer meng.... i wished he got a happy ending with someone, anyone at all lol....
lastly this drama especially in the first half is so very similar to one of my all time favourite dramas 'because it is my first life'........even the female leads look alike, although 'because its my first life' has a more quality storyline, better acting, BETTER MUSIC (jeeze) . Nice drama.

This was such a lovely romantic drama it's been awhile since I've found something I very thoroughly enjoyed. The chemistry is so on point. I love the songs, the color play in this. There were a lot of elements that made this up to standard. Let me start.First, the chemistry. This is not the first drama I watched with Wei Zheming. There's #UnforgettableLove, but as much as it was hyped, it didnt sit well with me because I think it was just a bit flawed. Chemistry-wise. This one though... Yun Shu and Zhang Si Nian are so perfectly portrayed and you'll really feel like they're in love. From the first episodes, you'll feel the warmth of a simple "Good night" and then later on you'll see it in their actions that was so natural. Like how Si Nian tends to put a hand on Yun Shu's back, or how his hand slides up and down her arms when they embrace, or how Yun Shu tends to lean towards Si Nian when they talk. The body language is seriously amazing. I dont know if I should credit it to the director or the actors, but overall, the cinematic effect was good. And also, did anyone notice how the way Si Nian talked to Yun Shu progressed over the episodes? His voice becomes softer, almost a whisper when they speak.
Second point. The aesthetic mood of the whole drama. There's a recurring color theme in this drama that made this very pleasing to watch. I took some film classes, that's why I can notice this, but to the untrained eye, the colors creates an illusion of visual continuation in the series. The scenes may change, but because of the connecting color, your eyes wouldn't take as much time to adjust as it would on a different color scheme. That's why I think this drama is very binge-worthy. Your eyes would not tire at all. The color I'm talking about are the shades of green. It creates a harmony all throughout the scenes. Yun Shu's mint green blouse, the color of their house's walls, Si Nian's car, Si Nian's complimenting outfits, even the scheme adapted for the beach scenes leaned more on calming tones... It's really good strategy. And made this drama cinematographically superior.
Third, the music. There's pop music that was the main theme for the drama, but I think what would stay in one's mind after watching the drama is the three-note humming melody. It's very pleasing, perfectly timed on moments of intimacy between the leads. It's simple, memorable, repeating and very pleasing to the ears.
Fourth. The plot itself. If this was a novel, you'd say it's cliched. But this is a drama, which is very nicely done despite the typical trope. Our male lead is not the shallow "oh-so-glorious-male-god" dramas go for. Zhang Si Nian has his vulnerabilities. He would do anything for his grandpa, and his mood is affected by him. Our female lead is not the typical cutesy type romcoms go for. She's a bit naive, but not really an airhead. You'll love her. She's very warm, smiling and just... Kind. She's a really lovely girl that believes the best of all people, admits her mistakes and is very altruistic. She's also not the type to deny her feelings, or make a martyr out of herself. You'll really admire her as the story progresses. Both characters had a lot of development and it shows. It's just lovely how they both worked on themselves for being better individually while being together. #RelationshipGoals
And lastly... I hope anyone who reads this a happy viewing. This is truly an enjoyable drama. Will watch it again in the future, definitely.

I found very interesting in the beginning however for me the last 5 chapters were hard to follow.Besides, I did not get interested in any of the two other couples.
Concerning the main couple, they are both beautiful but I think their chemistry was very low. It is a pity.
But overall it is a nice rom-com , misunderstandings being rapidly solved. We find some common places as usual.
As my husband is a mathematician, I am used to a small awkwardness in a partner, just like spending two hours in the supermarket to buy little stuff, because it is hard to choose between two or more products.
I was convinced by the actors, but the romantic scenes lacked of passion, in my point of view.

Starting few episodes were boring . Love story started after 13 or 14 episodes (I guess) till then leads were tangled with their feelings. At very starting I didn't like the lead actress acting . instead of her ,her friends were good that doctor and his love who were her best friends . About lead actor his dead great acting but his chara ter were boring because his character was that ,who was so much calculative in choosing the thing even his feelings but there is some romantic scenes which balanced the drama .one thing I like was that the grandfather was there in the draa till end no death scene . Sweet and nice
Okay. When i read plot of the story of teacher and student relationship it really put of my interest. And keep this drama on hold for many days. But later decided to give this a try. Thank god i decided that. As its not actualand typical teacher student relationship. Even though ML is teacher but fl is no longer student.The story start with their accidental meetings which goes to contract marriage then ended up with actual love.
ML and FL are both good. In starting i really felt like FL character is stupid but i loved the way it shapes up in whole story. As story continues you really gonna like her. ML is good and fits to his character.
I really feel like some situations in story is not practical like her cousin betrays her but she does nothing, her sister is good lawyer but she don't even find her cousin, her sister is good lawyer and established but she dont even help her sister. Other times she cares for her but she dont care about her living place and situations . I really felt like this situations are not practical.
Friends of FL is good but i dont like their story with each other. Other than main leads character of Grandpa is love.

the beauty of this drama is in the details
ill keep it short:first of all * THERE IS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT* (for me it was actually the main point of the show)
- they are almost making fun of other romcoms, from how their relationship develops to how they solve their problems
- the solutions they come up with are my favorite part of the drama I would recommend you pay special attention to the details during those cliché moments. (THIS IS WHAT MADE IT DIFFERENT TO ME)
- it is comical how at a very important climax the makers of the show would just be like "anyways, you saw it, moving on" I almost cursed a few times because I wanted to see more
- the ML is actually smart not just academically. and the FL is extremely sweet and warm. and yes they have their problems or else there really isn't a story to be told
OVERALL almost all the choices of the main leads made sense to me. (thank you writers)
it was a fun and fluffy watch.
side characters stories could have been better. (my only criticism really otherwise I would give the story a 10)
probably wont be your absolute favorite but a fun watch nonetheless.

Sweet and Light Drama
Just finished watch this drama and all i can say is this is a pretty good and a worth to watch drama. Sweet and cute, and simple. The two main leads portray the characters very well. The main reason why i love this drama is because the story didn't drag so many conflict. Somehow i give up watch drama because too much conflict and missunderstanding.There aren't long miss-understanding plot or annoying antagonist characters, so if you need to watch a light and cute drama about marriage contract, just go with this 🤗.

I was positively surprised
After watching too many heavy Dramas I needed something light, brainless, bubbly and cute, which won’t cause me any major heartbreak. Contract relationship’s usually do the trick so I decided to give this one a try. And I really honestly have to say this Drama exceeded all of my expectations (that weren’t to high but still).Cast: I was absolutely intrigued to see the main actor playing a main role, after really liking him in “Find Yourself/下一站是幸福“ and I have to say that man can honestly act. His role was entirely different from his role in the other Drama, and he acted it that well that at one point I actually forgot he was the same actor.
The female lead was also absolutely beautiful, from the outside as well as in her acting. The side characters all did fairly well as well.
Plot: to me the plot seemed like a preset for one cliché after the other, and while some of them were of course fulfilled, other parts actually left me positively surprised. I won’t go to much into detail as to how, let’s just say unnecessary Drama was kept to the minimum, but it still managed to keep me interested.
The side stories were all entertaining to watch, I did not get the “too much side story, to mask that there’s no development in the main story” kind of feel.
What did kind of bother me with the main plot was the way they didn’t give three f*cks about hospital policy. In terms of what information to give to patients and families, who makes decisions etc. You’ll understand what I mean when you watch the Drama.
In the end this was, what it was supposed to be, a fluffy Drama with little substance but a lot of love. So if you’re looking for something lighthearted to keep you entertained for a couple of episodes, definitely try this one.
