Shinjo's buddies Inui Kiyoto and Kinosaki Jun have just returned from a space trip when they are attacked by an alien. Their ship crashlands, and only Inui returns when Shinjo kills the alien. However, Inui reveals that the alien escaped and the deceased is a transformed Kinosaki, now the first victim of the invaders' plans to assimilate the human race into their hivemind.
