GUTS (Global Unlimited Task Squad) has uncovered a strange 30-million-year-old artifact that opens up to reveal a hologram of a woman named Yuzare, who warns the team of the awakening of two monsters. She tells them that only by awakening the Giants of Light from their mystic pyramid will they be able to stop the beasts, and then, in private with Daigo, reveals he is "chosen by the light".
