A drama worth every watch!

Losing someone is painful be it a friend, family, or partner and each of us handles the pain in our own way. Some drink their sorrows away, some keep themselves busy to keep their mind off of it, some show it in anger or act like nothing or drown themselves with sorrow and get sucked in a hole of constant pain with no end in sight.

You know those kinds of shows that you have no expectation at all that gives you the best shocks? Well, I did not expect to love this so much, the only reason that I gave this a chance was because of our beloved Ha Jin, played by Moon Ga Young.

STORY
The premise of the drama is about a guy who can never forget and the girl who can’t remember and how memories from the past connect them. I didn’t expect it to be cute and lean more on the romantic comedy side rather than a melodrama, I mean reading the synopsis, doesn’t it give you that melodrama heart-wrenching vibe?

“Which one of us is more pitiful? Me who can’t forget my memories for the rest of my life or Ha Jin who had to forget her memories to live?”

I think that question was repeated more than once on the drama and it was very fitting. Every time this line comes in, its really painful, I mean you can’t put value or measure on someone's pain to yours. Since we are all different, we also feel pain differently.

The backstory is really sad and I felt really bad for Seo Yeon, she was a really good person, and to suffer like that just breaks my heart and at the same time, it angers me to a whole new level. Stalking and kidnapping are just…….

“Memories are supposed to lose color and fade away as time goes by. Don’t feel tormented for not remembering”

I really love the way Anchor-nim comforts Ha Jin, it feels realistic, mature, and more relatable.

I really love the flow of the entire drama. It didn’t feel rushed nor did it feel like it was dragged. It gives you enough drama to keep you on your toes but then also giving you those fluffy romantic scenes that will definitely keep you giggling and all giddy.

I also love that the drama didn’t just focus on their love but a lot of other things like work ethics, sister/family love, stalkers and struggles of public figures.

I love that they showed how public opinion is so easily swayed, that one day you’re at the top of the world and the next, you’re at the bottom of the food chain. Public opinion can be easily manipulated which makes me really sad that that somehow became normal in our generation.

One of my favorite episodes where 21 and 22 cause like 90% of it was just full of fluff and love, not a lot of stress and then that was also the same episode where Anchor-nim visited you know who is prison and compared him to bat-shiiiii-crazy guy # 1 and how he strongly and aggressively argues that they were not the same.

Monsters don’t see who they really are when they are looking at the mirror, they don’t see a monster staring right back at them. That’s the art of denial and ignorance. When you have done something and can’t accept or even see the fact that you have done it for the wrong reasons, justifying it for something good when morally its not.

Monsters delude themselves with delusions and view them as reality to keep them from seeing that there is something wrong with them.

I hate that Dr. Yoo (the dad not the son) just wanted to sell his book about people with hyperthymesia . technically, he is breaching the doctor-patient confidentiality and I think for psychologists, it one of the most important part of their code of ethics (and so proud with Tae Eun for actually voicing this out in the drama)

If I remember correctly, the exemptions to this is *to protect their patient and public from harm *to report abuse and neglect of children, elderly or people with disability and to *respond to an order from a coart. And none of those things co-align to what Dr. Yoo is doing.

Another thing is recording people's private conversations without consent. I know that for psychologists it's not something out of the ordinary but I don’t think recording without permission of the other person is not right. Private conversations are private, and it's not like they are his current patients either, Anchor-nim is his “former” patient and although its normal for doctors to check up on his former clients out of concern but what he was doing is definitely not out of concern.

And when he said “I know him the best”, oh I almost flipped my desk How shameless and obnoxious he is! Who is he to decide other people's fate? Tbh, I hated the doctor more than the stalker. I mean the stalker clearly was not mentally stable but the doctor…. He is a doctor, a professor, supposedly a good one at that but he was ignorant and completely disregarded the code of ethics that he vowed to uphold when he first became a doctor.

“I’m devastated that my father is someone who ‘s this low”
when Tae Eun said this, I could hear the angels singing hallelujah in my ears. Aside from Anchor Lee and Ha Jin, Tae Eun is my favorite character, even surpassing Ha Kyung. Not only is he really kind and loyal but he is also a really cute doctor *wink, you know what I’m saying~

The chemistry between both leads were just…. *speechless.
They are such contrasts but perfectly just fits each other. I love how the writer wrote their love story. Both lost souls and found each other. It might be different for other people but somehow this pairing is my favorite out of all kdramas that I watched. I can’t put it into words but the way the drama kind of build up their love and trust was amazing.

Unlike Ha Jin’s explanation on her movie that it was a sadistic movie, that you know you’re gonna get hurt but you still love it and watch it, this drama didn’t get me enough pain for it to be soooooooo heartbreaking. ‘Cause at every pain in this drama, the director and writer immediately heals your heart.

This drama is also good learning material for couples, like relationship 101.
If you have a problem, talk it out!!! I love that they always end up talking about their feelings and that they don’t mind being vulnerable to each other!
If the other walks away, stop them! (well, it didn’t really happen) but they did talk about it and anchor-nim expressed his feelings about that scene before the time jump. His regrets and all.
Always be considerate to your partner, always think about what your partner might think before doing something, especially if it affects them.
Always find time for each other, despite hectic schedules and work, always find time to be with each other.

The ending….

I was really hoping for a really good ending and thank god that the director and writer did not break my heart. I love that it was more of a mature and realistic approach for the ending. You know that satisfaction of putting the last piece of puzzle after playing it for days and even weeks? That's how I feel with the ending, there was no big bang! But it is more real and more satisfying.

CHARACTER
Yeo Ha Jin is the quirky actress known for playing not exactly good girl characters and is apparently a huge fashion Icon. I’m living for Ha Jin. I just love her. She is clumsy and funny but can be very serious when she wants to be. I love that her character is really kind and considerate.

She can be quite naive and insensitive at times, like not realising things faster. I think you would either hate her or love her, she is very active and very approachable and sociable that it might not sit well with others and might come off as clingy, forceful but that just makes Ha Jin so good. Ha Jin is good to a fault. She trusts and forgives so easily, like what happened with Chul.

I think at the beginning it was purely out of her curiosity that drawed her in to him and the more she thinks about him the more she sees the other things that made him different. He was kind but distant, considerate but cold but despite being distant, aloof and cold, he has his own style of humor and is very loyal to those he values and he believes in. She even said that everything started because of the way he looked at her during the interview.

She was curious why he had those sad eyes.

Another thing that I love about her character is that, when she sets her mind on something, she does it (sometimes clumsily but still) . Her relationship with her younger sister is hilarious. Sometimes it seems like Ha Kyung is the older sister and Ha Jin is the youngest.

Lee Jeong Heon is the anchorman for the News Live for HBN, known as the “gentle tyrant” for exposing his guests with that calm and somewhat innocent face of his. Jeong Heon from the start came off as strong willed and opinionated.

Jeong Heon has a condition called hyperthymesia, that allows him to remember nearly every moment in his life, a condition that he sees as a curse, a disease. I mean it's understandable to feel that way, to be able to remember everything clearly even those memories that horrifies you, to be able to still recall it so clearly is just terrifying.

I love that Jeong Heon is really gentle and patient with Ha Jin, he is not the most affectionate guy when it comes to romantic gestures but he sure has tricks up his sleeves. At first, like Ha Jin he was curious about her. She reminds him so much of his first love and I think that really draw him to her and when he found out who she really is and what happened to her, I'm not really sure if he felt pity or not, cause even though he said to Ha JIn that he didn’t feel that, his face when Tae Eun told him the story, his face says he did. He realized that he wasn’t the only hurting.

I think in some way he was a bit jealous of Ha Jin cause even though she didn’t mean it, she got to forget all the painful memories but at the same time he doesn’t want to lose his memories as well, even though he views his condition as an illness he still values the memories that he has.

Yeo Ha Kyung is Ha Jin’s devoted baby sister. I really love Ha Kyung for being the “older” one between the two of them, imagine if Ha Kyung is like Ha Jin (oh the mess and chaos). Her love story with Reporter Jo was really cute too.

I really love Ha Kyung’s devotion to her older sister. She sacrificed so many things just to protect and support Ha Jin, and when Ha Jin said that she felt guilty for Ha Kyung being always by her side, it just tells you how much the sisters love each other. Ha Kyung didn’t stay out of responsibility nor did she see it as a job but she did it for her love for her sister and wanting to always be there for her since she saw first hand how Ha Jin suffered.

Now make way for my Tae Eun (lol)

Yoo Tae Eun is the good looking and overall good between the two Dr. Yoo in the drama (lol). He is Jeong Heon’s loyal childhood friend and also Ha Jin’s former doctor. Like I mentioned earlier, aside from the main couple Tae Eun is my favorite character not only because he is good looking but also his importance in the main lead’s story.

Tae Eun’s scene near the end was like the cherry on top for me, the way he handled everything and how he put importance in Ha Jin and Jeong Heon’s well being that he was willing to turn himself in for everything.

I love that he was more like the father and his evil dad is the son. I love that he was disciplining his dad. I actually didn’t expect him to be the one to end that line of the story, for him to actually put a stop to it ‘cause at the beginning he was like a pushover by his dad but damn, my Tae Eun did it!

Characters to mention:

Jo Il-Kwon is the Anchor-nim’s loyal Heobae, the tall good looking field reporter for HBN. I mean if all reporters are as good looking as him I’d probably be watching news all the time (lol). Anyway, I love that his character is very consistent ‘till the end, he is a bit weak, clumsy but affectionate and lovable. His love story with Ha Kyung is both funny and cute, a really good second couple.

Choi Hee Sang and Kim Cheol-Woong are probably the best boss out there. She is the director of the News Department for HBN, which makes her Anchor-nims direct boss. I really like that she was very supportive to Anchor-nim, always considerate but at the same time firm. She is married to Cheol Woong, the guy she met at church. He is the director for news live which makes him Anchor-nim’s direct supervisor. This pair is really funny.

Yoo Sung Hyuk is the worst psychologist ever. He is arrogant and opportunistic, using his patient to be famous. I hate him and unfortunately, he is also my Tae Eun’s dad. Although he got what he deserve, I guess his ending was enough (he is still my Tae Eun’s dad lol)

Moon Chul is the manager? I’m not really sure if he was the manager or the driver? I was kind of disappointed with him at first but now wow, what he did with that bucket was just an epic (though petty) revenge, go Chul!! I feel bad for him because of his backstory and was really happy with his ending. The first time that I laughed at him was when he was being interrogated and then he looked at the tv and cursed at the stalker and my face and the detectives face was like... lol

Park Kyung Ae is the bubbly and super supportive CEO of Ha Jin’s agency. I don’t know why but she reminds me of Nam Joo Hyuk’s mom on Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. She has this motherly vibe that I really like. She was hilarious at the last few episodes, her accents got me laughing

Park Soo Chang is that piece of t**** paparazzi, I'm not even gonna call him reporter ‘cause it feels like it's giving that profession a bad image. He is the type of paparazzi that I really hate, invading people's privacy and has the audacity to be proud of it. Calling himself a reporter just makes my blood boil.

Ji Hyun Geun is the director for Ha Jin’s film First Love. not gonna say a lot about him but except for, my gut was right (lol, if you have watched it you’ll know)

Moon Seong Ho is the stalker.
*i don't want to tire my brain in thinking about him, just three words, I HATE HIM.

ACTORS
The main reason that I actually watched this drama was for Moon Ga Young, I first saw her EXO Next Door but I didn’t realise it was her until I saw it on her filmography. I love her in The Great Seducer, her character Soo Ji was really amazing. I fell in love with her because of Soo Ji.

I haven’t really heard of Kim Dong Wook before but I’m definitely gonna look out for projects now. Didn’t expect to actually like him since I like a certain image for my main leads but damn, Dong Wook converted me (lol) He is a really good lead.

It turns out I have seen my Tae Eun in other dramas, just didn’t realise it

I actually didn’t expect to see Kim Seul Gi here and I was especially shocked when Lee Jin Hyuk came one the screen. They have chemistry. It was cute.

Lee Seung Jun….. just… every time he's in a drama it just catches me off guard, does this guy even have a break? Why is he in a lot of the dramas that I watch? And then Ji Il Joo really fits his role (lol)

FINAL THOUGHTS
I'm just gonna go right ahead and say it, this is my favorite Kdrama of the first half of 2020, this is my personal preference but tbh I’d rather rewatch this again and again than other dramas this year so far. I mean there were really amazing dramas in the first half of 2020, some of them I have yet to watch and some I did enjoy but so far, this drama just jumps up my list.

Although my list is constantly changing, based on my feelings now (this instant) this is my favorite. You’ll never know, the next one I watch might surpass this but for now, this is ranking 1 and there is a gap, a big gap with the 2nd and the rest. That’s how much I love the drama.

Would I recommend it? A big YES. its a drama that plays on your heartstrings, it will make you cry and laugh but overall, it gives you great lessons as to how to make a relationship work. COMMUNICATION, DEVOTION, TRUST AND LOVE.

Great start, but dragged with almost no plot towards the end.

This drama started off focusing on one main plot: memories; Ha Jin's forgotten memories AND Jung Hoon's never forgotten memories.
Within a few episodes this changed directions almost entirely and focused on the stalker storyline interlinking Seo Yeon's (ML's ex and FL's best friend) death with Ha Jin's present stalker.
This was very smooth sailing as it didn't feel like a complete change in plot through the way they executed it as it still focused on memories. But, AFTER 10 episodes, the whole stalker storyline ENDED completely and was concluded really nicely. But, then in the last 6 episodes, it was as if her whole stalker storyline didn't even happen and as we move on to the first storyline of Ha Jin remembering her past.

The last 6 episode were very SLOW and I found myself skipping through most of it. Nothing much happens and it goes exactly as you'd predict.

One thing I loved about this show is that you are left seriously questioning who Ha Jin's stalker could be. All the potential suspects had so many of the stalkers characteristics and had the potential to be the stalker. I was surprised and happy with who the actual stalker was and the actor did really well in this role. I'm not going to mention who the stalker was.

I liked the main lead couple. They had a really slow burn romance that was really mature and focused a lot on loss.

I LOVED the second lead couple: Ha Kyung and Il Kwon. Their romance was also really slow burn and mature, but in a different, more comedic way. They were also the sibling/like sibling of the main couple and their pairing was adorable. The couple that always argues about everything, gender role reversal couple who had litterally no interest in each other until they spent A LOT of time together. They were the couple that stayed together once they decided to be together. (SPOILER) They were also really good at making a long distance relationship work.

I loved the cast of this drama:
- Moon Ga Young: I can't not love the characters she plays. She can really play the nice, adorable, naive girl without annoying me.
- King Dong Wook: First drama of his I've watched and I felt that his role really suited him. His hairstyle, outfits and just the way he speaks really suited his anchor role as well as a man who has suffered loss and is constantly suffering from that loss.
- Kim Seul Gi: I loved her character so much, a small but very feisty person who seemed more like the older sibling than the actual older sibling.
- Lee Jin Hyuk: Another actor I saw for the first time. I loved his role, though it was kind of cliche, but he played it really well.
- Jee Il Joo: There is something about him that just made him so perfect for his role. I've seen an edit of him playing a psychopath in another show, and I have to say, he played the role as one of the potential stalkers REALLY well. There is something unsettling about his smile and I loved it.

This drama was worth the watch, but it definitely should have been shorter. I did not like how it dragged for several episodes with very little plot.

!!

Never seen a drama with a good start but flopped so hard and fast. As if there were two completely separate writers. Most of the story was packed in the first 2-3 episodes (out of 16) while the rest were almost filled with nothing. The reason behind the last episode being a time skip is because there was no content left and they had to air something for the 16th episode. Another major irrecoverable mess up were the characters. The villains had zero effort put into writing them. The female lead took the "stupid female lead" trope to a never seen before levels. Also, poor chemistry with the leads. In general, the drama progressively gotten worse with every passing minute without ever recovering. That's impressive!

It's slow

I think it started very well. With a very interesting and catching history in my opinion. The ML and FL were well constructed. Until ep 11 it was a pleasure to watch this show. After that was very difficult for me to finish, because the maine problem was already solved but then you have 5 more episodes to watch with new problems and boring scenes. For me it didn't make sense. I think in a normal drama you will have all that in 1 episode maximum after the first plot. But overall it's was an OK drama to see.

Is love all about memories?

STORY
The premise revolves around a man who can never forget and a woman who can’t remember her past and doesn’t hold her memories. The drama continues to pose this philosophical questions, what is worst: being unable to forget beautiful experiences and memories but also past relationships and love and bad moments or being someone that can’t hold the memory of friendship and happy moments?
I have my opinion, but everyone should think it throughout there own experience or beliefs.

The backstory starts with Lee Jung Hoon (Kim Dong Wook) losing his beloved girlfriend, Seo Yeon (who is a beautiful joyfull person, full of life), to a psycho. And all the bad and good moments lived between them will stay with him forever. Can he fall in love again? Does memory plays a part in love?
Don’t really know why there are so many stalkers and kidnapers in kdramas (maybe is common in Korea, like amnesia and love triangles and squares). I think the show could had another way of developing the story, the main story that is always disturbed by villains that poped up like mushrooms…
I think this drama is also about today’s way of life: fans that can destroy lifes with comments; the unnability to deal with memories that are supposed to fade as time goes by but can’t disapear because of social media, and all the things we publish and upload to the web. And, as Cure’s Robert Smith say: “And the Spiderman is always hungry”. Public figures thrives with public recognition and opinions, but falling from the top to the bottom is only a question of hours. But it’s a price that almost everyone has to pay as they ascended in that way too. Rarely, very few ascends by merit but most do it by popularity. And people think it’s normal, by putting an avatar or being anonymous they can talk what they want without, most of the time, knowing the situation, like here in MDL.

Anchor Lee is mature, a competent and trustworthy man broadcasting the news. He feels uncomfortable and strange when Ha Jin (Moon Ga Young) apears and shares quotes and thoughts that resemble Seo Yeon. She also feels a connection and both can’t understand why…

The plot is about memories, the feelings, the past that is always present for Anchor Lee and non existent to Ha Jin. Suspense, crime, impossible love and cute romantic scenes all in the same drama. The drama is all about love, but the feeling floats in the air and not in the plot. It also deals with pressure from the press, media and fans; family love and support, specially Yeo Ha Kyung (Kim Seul Gi) protecting her older sister; work ethics and the truth about business (people, not companies, have morals,). The stalkers, the crimes are not my taste and don’t understand the need in this drama.

Another thing that kept me thinking was the way the psychiatrists dealt with the patients, medling and leading and lying insted of helping. It’s not my field of expertise, but i don’t think it’s the right treatment the way they talked to the patients and gave informations an, for sure, there were some major violations of work ethics.

I don’t follow the actors careers or have special feelings for any one. I think the main leads were great, loved the chemistry between them, and even her sister and Jo Il Kwon (
Lee Jin Hyuk).
Specially the way the romance between Anchor-nim and Ha Jin, the way they express their feelings and the memory issues. They talked about the problems, there were almost none misunderstandings, and the decisions were made with the knowledge of the other’s thoughts. Maybe Ha Jin didn’t believe in Anchor Lee’s feelings about her…

The 2 year gap is, for me, always a mistery. Maybe i can’t understand how to love in distance, not only geographically but emotional and without any communication!

The ending could be better and more focus on their love and the memories, old and new. I think they would, eventually, talked about Seo Yeon, because she was their connection, even in the past. They knew the other through her, the bond that glue their hearts…

CHARACTERS
Yeo Ha Jin is awesome. She is awkward and funny and straight talker because she can’t remember! And the memory plays a huge part of her personality. But she can deal with the hardships of her profession and the scandals. She is strong and beautiful.

Her relationship with her younger sister Yeo Ha Kyung is wonderful. She seems the young one! But the chemistry is great!

Lee Jeong Heon is the anchorman, with a sense of righteousness. He is as strong willed and dogmatic. He has hyperthymesia, that forces him to remember every moment in his life. He is very gentle and patient with Ha Jin. He is warm and kind, not the most romantic type, but more of a protective type.

Anchor-nim and Ha Jin are puzzled with each other. Ha Jin reminded him his first love and he was drawn to her when he found out who she really was and what she had to do to survive Seo Yeon’s death.

Yeo Ha Kyung is Ha Jin’s devoted baby sister. She chooses to support and sacrífice her independece for her sister and their relationship is beautiful. The romance with Reporter Jo was very fluffy. She also helps Jeon Heon to be by her sister’s side.

Jo Il-Kwon is the Anchor-nim’s junior. He is loyal, supportive and helps everyway he can. His romance with Ha Kyung is both cute and funny.

Yoo Tae Eun is Jeong Heon best friend and also Ha Jin’s former doctor. Don’t think that he does the best work as a friend or a doctor to both lovers, but he redeemed in the end.

Choi Hee Sang is Anchor-nims direct boss. She is amazing! She was very supportive to Anchor-nim, knowing his condition but always firm and competent. She is married to Cheol Woong, the director for news live which makes him Anchor-nim’s direct supervisor.

Yoo Sung Hyuk is an awful psychologist and that’s it. He is a bad person, but also incompetente.

Ji Hyun Geun is the director for Ha Jin’s film First Love and i really don’t know the purpose of him being in the drama.

Moon Seong Ho is the stalker. Don’t understand his behaviour because he murdered his muse and that’s it.

ACTING
I think it was great!

OST – interesting and well placed in the scenes.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Usually i review my dramas on what i felt trough the shows and not technical, beauty of the actores or the production aspects.
I am not an active fan of the actresses or actors, well, i like some but that doesn’t move me from an impartial view.
I loved the idea of memories playing a huge part of live, and i think everyone should watch it. I wish it was a little shorter and without the villans, but it was ok. It desserved a better ending…

Find Me In Your Memory was a beautiful slow-paced romantic drama perfect for spring time. Although the plot was quite simple, everything about it was showcased beautifully from the scenes, the lines, the characters, the actors, the outfits, and even the OSTs that it left me captivated and smiling from start to finish without getting bored.

The story line was not something new in the k-drama world, but I liked how they were able to utilize the same formula and make it into a whole different thing. Everything in this drama is a lot calm, sweet, and heartwarming and not overly cheesy nor dramatic so its a lot easier and lighter to watch. I know most people find the ending of this drama bad, but for me its not really the case. It was roughly patched together, yes, like we were given several cuts of scenes that looked like it made sense but really didn't. Nonetheless, I appreciate how they made up for it and still gave us a nice, sweet ending that we want from our lead couple.

Honestly, the biggest asset of this drama were its casts. Everyone worked hard and executed well for this show! Also, I like how some of the characters were lively and were able to help lighten the mood and theme of the drama, such as Ha Kyung and Il Kwon, and the news director who was just such a great boss! Moreover, the chemistry of the leads just did its magic for this drama. No wonder why they say casting actors carefully is a huge factor, because it is what completes a good drama. Theirs was just crazy amazing that the drama sucked me in and kept me wanting more.

Kim Dong Wook looked like a real anchor-nim, and he looked like a super cute one too! The way his voice is so calm when speaking, and his smile just drove me nuts! His character definitely blended well with him, being sweet, patient and polite anchor-nim he is. >< Moon Gayoung was also so gorgeous in her role as an actress. The way both of them looked like a real life couple, was just the selling point! ISTG the age gap between the two didn't show at all! The way they smile towards each other, held hands, and kissed looked super real too.

Some of OSTs were just touching, heartwarmingly beautiful and blended well right into the background especially Jooyoung's 나의 오늘이 너의 오늘을 만나 which is now my favorite to go OST song when I need to reminisce the wonderful moments of this drama.

Overall, Find Me In Your Memory is the perfect spring-like dreamy drama that would warm the hearts of its viewers. The theme might not be for everyone particularly those who are looking for unique plot, fast paced development, and story line. This one is light and simple, slow paced, and focuses more on the romantic development of the lead couple. Giving this a try wouldn't be bad though, one might find them pulled in to this because the chemistry of the leads are just too difficult to turn away from!

Warm-hearted, endearing, and beautiful

Overall this drama was a wonderful simple watch with a bit of suspense during the stalker storyline. It kept me on my toes in regards to who the stalker was which was good.

I loved the actors and the romance in this drama. Ha Jin's outfits were also very beautiful throughout the show. The sister's character is hilarious and I love how it was written along with her side couple storyline.

The main plot hole for me would be that Yeong never showed her BEST FRIEND of all time a picture of her boyfriend??!!!! That is SO unrealistic and really created an issue in the drama that could have been totally avoided in real life if Yeong and Ha Jin were really best friends. Also Yeong talked to Anchor-nim about Ha Jin ALL the time apparently but never showed him pictures of them together either?! That really surprises me too.

The romance slowly building between Anchor-nim and Ha Jin was so cute and I LOVED his rare smiles. The actors really brought their characters to life and I loved that and the lighting and cinematography! The OSTs were perfect for the mood too! I liked the realistic comedy throughout the drama. It did not feel over done or cookie cutter.

Find Me In Your Memory (2020) - I watch the drama for 4 episodes in then stopped since I can't find the reason or excitement watching it and I don't know where the story would eventually go to and I don't find the drama interesting.

I then eventually knew that it is suppose to be slow paced, so when I came to rewatch it, I realized what the story is all about and little by little they did show the sense of the story.

I really really like Jeong Hoon portrayed by Kim Dong Wook and he is so handsome and he is really great in acting out his role in the series. The one thing that I find disappointing is that I like the second couple more than the main leads romance.

I choose this drama randomly (i didn't even remember that it was in my list lol) and I don't regret it!What can i say about it? A hidden gem! The story is something new, the action can drive you crazy, the plot twists can blow your mind and i don't even have to talk about the chemistry, that the main characters have! I just finished it and i have to admit, that i am going to miss it a lot. Totally on my top 5 kdramas! ?
PS. I am totally obsessed with the ost. Everytime that i hear the guitar at the begging of the song, it gives me goosebumps! ??

It's good to know what hypermnesia is.

It's clearly my favourite Kdrama for the moment. The plot is really interesting and there's always knew elements which appear. The drama never gets boring or predictable. I couldn't stop watching it because I wanted to know how it will end so bad ! The actors play really well, it's easy to feel the character's emotions. I jas the feeling it jas a good retransmission about what hypermnesia and memory lost are. I highly recommend for the ones who love romance with some secrets between the main characters.

This is definitely a slow-burn type of drama

This is definitely a slow-burn type of drama. The way the writer elaborated the development of each character and gave them redemption is what makes it a relatable drama. Just like us in the real world, some people makes mistakes but they can redeem themselves by reflecting on what they have done and do what is right after that. Kim Dong-Wook definitely nailed the role of the main character Lee Jung-Hoon. His raw emotions are very visible through the screen. It's that silence that makes the pain more painful and it just breaks your heart as a viewer even more. Moon Ga-Young on the other hand portrayed a very bubbly and happy-go-lucky character but when it comes to the crying scenes she also never disappoints. Kudos to the production team of this drama. It was a fun, tear-jerking yet satisfying drama.
