Waste of a wacky premise
The huge buzz around this series was what put it on my radar, but it was only when I learned of its wacky premise that I decided to give it a try. The first few episodes were entertaining enough, especially when Green (Gun Korawit), who starts out as the villain, turns out to be slightly more complex than I had expected.Unfortunately, things quickly lose steam once Sarawat (Bright Vachiwarit) and Tine (Win Metawin) begin to confront their real feelings of mutual desire within the framework of their fake relationship. After Green virtually disappears from the story, the narrative tries to raise the stakes by introducing obstacles between Sarawat and Tine, but these obstacles are so lazily conceived and deployed that I found it hard to care.
It doesn't help that Bright and Win, while both very attractive, aren't able to simulate convincing romantic chemistry. At best, they come across as being good enough friends that their sharing the same bed isn't weird. Bright's performance is particularly disappointing because he has already had years of acting experience before landing this role. I understand that the character of Sarawat is supposed to be aloof, but Bright tends to play him as dead-eyed and bored (and, therefore, boring). Despite being a rookie, Win manages to outshine him, especially in the more melodramatic moments.
The plot lines involving the other characters are similarly flawed, but I ended up finding them much more interesting.
This is the first BL series that I've ever watched, and getting through it has made me realize that I need to adjust my standards downward quite a bit. It has a lot of cute, fun moments that indicate where the show might have gone but doesn't. With the exception of the ending, it isn't completely terrible and I understand why people find it entertaining.

2Gether Could've Been So Much More
This had a cute story at the beginning, with some really adorable moments sprinkled in there between our two main actors. Though the side actors are actually the highlights of this show (like Mike as Man for example), without them it would've been a total disaster. Especially the actor who plays Green, he's hilarious and super adorable what an icon! I want to see him in more stuff because I love him so much! However, even with the side characters the story dragged on wayyyy too long and should've sped up some at the beginning. Every romance has to have buildup, but too much buildup can create a problem with the payoff and I feel like that's what happened with this series. There just wasn't much between the two mains for me to fully buy them as a couple. They just seemed like friends who were roomates that kissed twice unexpectedly. Maybe the actors were uncomfortable with it? But then again you're actors lol get over it! Though I did find Tine's character to be super adorable (his outfits too were so cute!) even if he was thick-headed in the show. The side-couples were meh too in this because nothing much happens with them, though I kinda started to get into Man/Type's relationship by the end. It was just introduced too late properly and rushed, the two actors have great chemistry though I can tell! Better than the leads even.I would say watch the first half of the series until the note and bottle scene happens. Then dip out because once they (Sarawat/Tine) move into that apartment it's a rapid decline after all that goes down, though the condom bouquet was a nice touch lmao, the moving in montage was adorable and I liked Tine coming out to his brother. Also I will rewatch strictly for some of the really funny scenes, including all of the Green scenes, though again parts of the main plot I did really like. Also also I really liked the music in this series, a lot more than I usually do in BL's! The intro I never skipped and it introduced me to SCRUBB who I know love.
Update: The sequel series fixed pretty much all of the problems I had with this first season! Yay! Definitely give that one as much love as this one has gotten!

Actors - If it weren't for Win's acting and Bright's VISUALS, this series would've been snubbed instantly! Win delivered! Bright's acting however, I was cringing! He's been in the industry for 6 years and I haven't felt anything during the scene when Tine was taken by Mil to the hospital.
Music - Aside from seeing Win's acting, I really enjoyed how thus series perfectly matched every Scrubb's songs to scenes.
Overall - This series was waaaay too overhyped! I'd rather watch Sotus, TharnType the series, He's coming to me, and Dark Blue Kiss anytime.

This series may have been one of the best, but they ruined it. It was most likely to be successful because of the actors' appearance and the lockdown. For me, the show could have stopped at episode eleven, or better yet when they moved. When they went to live together, more than boyfriends they seemed best friends. Then not to mention the fact that I miss a kiss after they get together and even worse a five when they get back together. For me there was more chemistry when they flitervan before getting together. Then they understand that they don't want to show sex scenes, but look at sotus without them and you can see a nice chemistry what is missing in this series. Then why transform Pam into one who wants to destroy the relationship when he supports them in the book. Then since Pam appears in the Sarawat series, he has no interest in Tine. They destroyed an entire story in a few episodes. Esta resenha foi útil para você?

I just decided to hate on this series. I tried to brush off the cringey acting from the beginning, then the unbelievable and messy plot .But when it went for a nose dive i said "Fuck It!", your going in the BURN BOOK. Why do Thai BLs keep casting hardly capable actors? Once that are not even committed in giving justice to the character they're playing. We do not care if you're uncomfortable with being intimate with an actor of the same sex, just make sure it is not visible in your performances. Where's the professionalism? Also the writers cast have every chance to redeem this series but it was all turned to trash in the end. Esta resenha foi útil para você?

I wanna preface this review saying: I have not read the novel so this is only a judgement of my experience of the series. First points I did enjoy :
1. The music. It was chosen well and especially the band Scrubb had some really touching songs and unlike in some other Bls I never felt like the music was overpowering.
2. The side couples storylines. I likes them, they almost all had real and relatable issues and were all acted really really well. The only complaint is that they barely got enough screen time but more on that later.
Now points I really didnt enjoy :
1. Just the story overall. Now don't get my wrong some points of it were quite lovely. However at the start when Green starts stalking and harassing Tine, I started to feel really uncomfortable with the whole thing. I was watching it with a friend and especially the scene where Green kept touching Tines arm and body on the bench and Tine constantly scooting away, trying to flee this situation, made me cringe and feel bad. Even my friend said that this is a really toxic person and not something good to be around. I was thinking the entire time that if Tine was a girl and the boy would show up everywhere, join every club, isolate or physically drag you from your friends, beat some people up in front of you and say something according to: Thats what happens to people I don't like or something similar. It would be a case for the police and not just a fun drama. I do get it was exaggerated for comedy purposes, but as I personally have bad experience with being stalked this drama in the first episodes took me right back to those dark time and Greens behavior was never shown to be wrong or excessive. He was never met with and real criticism for what he was doing.
The the relationship between tine and sarawat starts to develop on the grounds of that fake relationship to keep away from Green. I do get thats the whole premise but what kind of messed up person is Green that he only stays away from a person when he is taken and not when that person clearly says NO multiple times. Its like a person in Greens eyes is defined by relationship status more than their own feelings.
I was kind of hoping for some really close and cute scenes and them having loads of time together and being all cuddly in front of people so green would get the idea. But no. It was kind of a let down. The fake relationship hardly came into part and only in certain moments even played a role. It was just kind of boring and not that interesting. It speaks volumes that I binged the series last night and I can hardly remember the mid section of this series for Tine and sarawtas relationship.
OK then I guess at some point Tine finally gets the idea that Sarawat likes him and through the jealously tool that was used waaaayy to often I might add, he realizes he likes him too.
One positive point I also have to mention to be fair. I liked the whole point of Tine wanting to See if Sarawat is jealous of him to see if he has real feeling ( even though Sarawat has already clearly shown his jealously multiple time in previous ep) and then get jealous himself and realizes his own feeling.
After this point it was like 8 or something the whole series started to feel extremely rushed. Sarawat starts flirting with Tine for real but again nothing really changes ! Then asks him to be his boyfriend gets a yes later on and they move in together ?!!?!?.
Ok was I the only one who thought the whole moving in together was way too fast and weird. They were dating for like 2 days and sarawat already rents a place for the two of them ? It just felt so unnatural and rushed.
Also no real cuddle scenes in bed ? I mean you sleep in one bed but everytime they always stay on their separate sides.. Like are you sure you are a couple and if you aren't ready for that kind of intimacy thats fine but then you are ready to move in with each other.
OK then the whole brother thing happens and i actually like the part where they sleep on the couch together. Really cute. It kind of felt like a drop in a desert though.
Then the whole Pam situation happened. And I was so confused. Like did Sarawat just have an entire character change, Tine was shown to be priority the entire time ´, he did some really weird things and used the whole Green situation to force Tine to be close to him etc. And then suddenly he starts spending loads of time on her and it creates that misunderstanding. However for me it wasn't really a misunderstanding, even though in the end he wrote that love song for Tine he did state that he tried really hard to write it for her !!! So even when he was in a relationship he spend lots of time with a girl he once loved and tried to help her get into his university and tried to write a love song for her.
It made no sense with his character before and from what i read from comments, it wasn't like this in the novel either.
It kind of seemed like they wanted to add some drama for the ending but ignored logic for the hell of it.
Ok another trope that was used way to ofter was. if I win this football game / Music competition you have to stay away from Tine or then Ill ask Tine out. I have always hated these kinds of bets cause it makes it seem like Tine doesn't even have his own mind and make choices for himself. Use it once fine but it was literally so many times that i was just like I don't care who wins if this seriously effects a relationship then it wasn't much to begin with.
Now on to the side characters story line if you even wanna call it that. As i mentioned previously they had a solid story but i couldn't really get into them as they each only had like 20 min of screen time together MAX. Also no kisses or extremely cute scenes there.
And again the storyline with Tines brother is based on his love interest stalking him to conventions etc. Even when they officially meet he then starts following him around like a puppy. To cafes and even his place of work. Its not as bad as what green did at the start as he did keep his hands to himself but still !
OK now to greens relationship. I don't know if I got that right. But was the storyline seriously, his bf hurt him, they broke up and then Tine. and then he just forgives him after he apologizes. and then there is this weird scene where green flirts with some boys in front of a bus and his bf shows up and raises his hand to threaten but then drops it and its played like a joke! I feel like I missed context here but if that is the storyline then it is so messed up !!!!!
The other couple with Sarawats brother was the best in the whole series. Had the best chemistry. If they had more screen time and were the main couple this could have been really good.
But it felt like half of their story got told and in the end it just jumped to them dating ? or something similar ? I again felt like i had missed an episode in the end? Like i get it you want a happy ending but just give them an open one and give them their own series.
2. The friends of Tine
Am I the only one who felt the portrayal of tines friends at the start was terribly sexist. The only thing they talked about was girls, they dropped their friend when girls where around, the broke promises for any girl that came around. Like what was going on? It was so hard to watch.
They got better as the series went on though.
And I did like how one friend was the devil and the other the angel on tine shoulder.
3. Something was just missing
This series could have been great but something was just missing. For me it felt like the two leads conducted themselves more like close friends then boyfriends. There were only two scenes I felt genuine chemistry and the rest felt either forced or just like close friends would act around each other. I mean yay we got back together and my babe won an important contest, lets high five???! The kisses also seemed too weird and without passion. Like they were being so careful to make sure it wouldn't look like their are into it.
I am not one for hardcore kissing and make out scenes they aren't always necessary. But they never had the casual skin contact a couple would have and only hugged in critical moments and never just to feel their partner close. Even when tine had his arm around Sarawat there was noticeable distance between their bodies, which made is seem like the actors were really careful not to touch more than they had to.
Also every time there could have been a casual touch or a slightly dirty joke was made, Tine always reacted by saying pervert and pushing his bf away. But it didnt come across a flirtatious or shy, but instead came across as serious and at some point I was like: If you don't like to touch or be a couple, then why aren't you just close friends.
A lot of scenes I just really felt the acting ! Like it was just too clear that they were pretending to be their characters. I don't know if that makes sense but that is how I feel about the series.
Some of this can be explained by character traits but I still blame the series as it made in not really entertaining to watch and at some point I actually wished they wouldn't get together so at least something interesting would have happened.
OK if anyone has made it this far, congrats....
This is obviously just my own opinion and I do have to admit I skipped a bit in this series as It became too boring sometimes.

I mean... honestly? I'm sick of dramas that start off so well but end up being just average/disappoiting. 2gether started off so strong but I can't hide my disappointment. The first half was AMAZING! I almost thought that we finally have a decent BL with good pace. The chemistry between Tine and Sarawat was exciting and their scenes were super adorable. Sarawat was hot as f*ck. Boyfriend material 100/10. I loved the way he teased Tine and Tine's cute reactions. I loved how Wat was constantly giving hints to Tine, but Tine was a baby who knows nothing. It was just cute, you know. They were ''fake dating'' but their chemistry was on fire and I was so so looking forward to them dating for real.
What happened then though? Their chemistry disappeared as soon as they ''got together'' and it was replaced by awkward scenes and sloppy editing. I loved when we had a cute scene between them but then they suddenly jumped to another scene like?? It was like some scenes were cut off. Very disappointing.
And because the main couple lost their charm, they gave some supporting characters I couldn't care less about even more screentime. I was so done. There were 2-3 episodes that were total fillers. The whole episodes, not just some scenes.
The acting was decent I guess. Bright and Win did an amazing job portraying their characters and I don't think it's their fault for the disaster that happened in the second half. It's just that the writing was bad. They couldn't save the situation.
Would I recommend this? Not really. I believe that there are better BLs out there that are better than 2gether. But if you've seen it all, then yeah, just give this one a try. But you shouldn't have high expectations.

What a Series! I was skeptical about watching it at first when the initial trailer was released, but I changed my mind after watching the pre series trailer. I was hooked from episode one and I still am. This was one of the series that everyone was looking forward to and it does not disappoint!THE STORY:
The story is so fluffy! It will keep you smiling throughout the episode and is extremely addictive. It is sweet at times, makes you cry at times, but at the end of the day, it is extremely satisfactory . The storyline follows Tine and Sarawat and their relationship, most of the times. The rest of the time is dedicated to Mil, Phukong, Type and Man. Every single episode is so cute and makes you feel all warm inside.
THE ACTING:
So natural. The actors suit their roles very well and have executed them very well. The leads as well as the supporting actors are very good. Props to Win as this is his first series and he’s already amazing as Tine. He surely has a very ‘Bright’ future ahead of him?( Sorry for the pun). This series has made me fall in love all over again with actors I’m already familiar with, that’s how good it is.
THE PRODUCTION:
The production was handled very well for this series. The story has been consistent and so has the quality of the series. The team has done a very good job with this series.
THE OST:
The OST man! Every time I hear it I start smiling like an idiot and my grandma has started giving me dirty looks about how often I’m smiling to myself. It perfectly encapsulates the series and the feel the series is trying to give out. Bonus, I also love Scrubb now.
THE NEGATIVE:
The only negative of the series was how the story progressed. Until the minute, Sarawat and Tine were pretending everything was perfect, but once they became an actual couple, the story was thrown out the window. Also, it seemed like Tine was way more into Sarawat once they were dating. The last few episodes were extremely out of character for Sarawat, who at the beginning was very intent on announcing to the world that he loved Tine, but when it came to telling one girl, he was suddenly hesitant? This was what I didn’t like. Other than that still a great series.
THE ENDING:
This was seriously such a beautiful way to end the series. While I will admit I would have liked them to at least hold hands, this ending was perfect enough for me. All the couples got together in the end, and I would like to believe they’re all happy. I just finished it and I saw a lot of people complaining about the lack of kissing, so I’m saying this once again, it’s not just physical touch that matters. Every time I see Tine and Sarawat on screen, I can feel their chemistry and love, and I feel that’s enough. A great end to a great series.
I hope this review was helpful to everyone and helped you make the decision as to whether you were going to watch 2gether the series or not. Thank You!

Definitely a must watch!
I absolutely love this drama! The pairing of Bright and Win is literal perfection and I adore them as a pairing in the drama and off-screen as well. The plot to me is simple but effective, it's eye-catching and it makes you want to watch more. I can't help but yearn for more episodes because to me 2gether is one of the best shows I've seen, from the acting, the osts, and the cinematography. I don't know if it's me but I'm a sucker for watching romance stories and this one really touched me in a way, it's a slow-building love story which I love and I believe that love shouldn't be rushed. The story showed that perfectly and I loved watching every second of it. It's sad that it's ending in 2 weeks, we only have 2 episodes left. The acting to me was superb even tho bright and win have only just entered the acting industry. The only thing I can complain about is the directing skills, that's what's bringing it down. Otherwise, it's one of my favorite bl's. I'd say drop everything and go watch 2gether now. The chemistry of BRIGHTWIN is off the charts, they really did their characters justice with the bad script they were given.EDIT: Okay so after the last episode, I really don't know how to feel. I feel empty and I really hope they make another season with more sarawat and tine moments and focus more on the development of
the side couples as well. Whoever wrote the script and changed
70% of the novel needs to be fired. BRIGHTWIN must really be
tired from carrying the whole show. *sigh*

"WE'RE IN LOVE!" *high fives*
This is a very popular series, and for honestly, good reasons. I get it, Both Bright and Win are very attractive men. Their looks alone had to rack up at least half of the views they got because, in my opinion, this show doesn't scream, "best series out of all BLs" to me.I was actually quite shocked that this was the BL that everyone kept raving about. After finishing it, I still couldn't understand what the hype was. I don't want to come off as rude or a "typical hater" because I genuinely liked 2gether. It was funny, it was lighthearted; it was an honest fun watch. This was one of those series in which you watched for pleasure and simply just that, nothing more and nothing less. The only argument I make to people is that if this was their favorite series, then they haven't seen literally anything else. I wouldn't blame someone for having this at number 4 on their top 10 list, but if it's number one, then you have NOT seen any other BL ever. While this is a fun and happy-go-lucky series, it still doesn't compare to some of the other series that deserved just as many views, and fans, and love.
Ahh yes, have the feminine gay guy go chasing after the "straight" dude on campus. The use of BLs making feminine gay guys the punch of the joke or the perverted, annoying freak is getting annoying. At least by the end, Green is given a partner, but still, it was just aggravating to watch Green act like a fool over Tine. I'm not much of a fan of fake dating, but quite honestly I liked it a lot better when Sarawat and Tine were fake dating rather than actually dating. In some parts, especially when they were dating, it felt stiff and off. I heard people call them the "straightest gay couple ever" and while I wouldn't go that far, I will say that their chemistry felt very "bros" sometimes. But, they were also some really cute moments between them that felt right. I think it took Bright and Win a minute to get close to one another, and it becomes apparent when you see the shift in confidence with the choices they make. While I don't really believe in the whole, "I loved you this entire time" bull, it was still cute, and I enjoyed watching them on screen.
By far, Man and Type were the best thing about this series. While I won't applaud the stalkerish behavior of Man, I really did love his humor and how comedic he was. The search for Type was cute (until it became a bit much), but for the most part, it was fun and a happy ending. Also, Toptap is the cutest human being ever and Mike is one of the funniest BL actors I've ever watched. I much rather preferred Frank and Drake's character's in My Tee than in here. Mii was a straight-up player and a bad guy. I just wanted Phukong to move on to someone else so many times. Also, we didn't get to see enough of them for me to even really like them. Most of what we saw of them was Mii breaking Phukong's heart. Gunsmile added a literal cherry on top. He was perfect, and I loved him so much. We got to see AJ and Khaotung again, and what looked like a hint of something going on between them. Not anything too spectacular or noticeable, but I still enjoyed them either way.
As I said, 2gether is a cute series and I would definitely recommend it to any first-time watchers. Like I've also already stated, you haven't seen any amazing BLs yet if this one is still your number one pick. I recommend I Told Sunset About You, A Tale of A Thousand Stars, or Gameboys. Those were just a few mentions, but there are plenty that were beautiful and depict real gay relationships with earnestness and love.

The plot was a cliché, but still promising. The first episodes were good but then it stopped there. In mid-way there was no further development.
I believe both actors are straight and new to BL acting (not sure though). They seemed to have chemistry at first when they were faking the relationship (and didn't really have to act as couples do), but once they were dating for real it felt as if the actors had some type of problem with showing affection as a couple.
I'm not talking about kisses or sex like "TharnType", that's not necessary to show two characters in love. But what they did here is plain bromance, not BL.
I compare "2gether" with "My Engineer" which is still ongoing. In "My Engineer" the main couple didn't kiss (yet) after 12 episodes, not sure if the series will even have a kiss scene between the leads. However their actions and the emotions that the actors put on the characters are enough to make you belive that they are in a love relationship. The same goes for the other couples on the show, having their right amount of screen time despite not being the leads.
Those are things that are missing in "2gether".
I've read on some comments that this is Win's first BL drama and it shows. I watched a video of Win and Bright reacting to one of the episodes and Win seemed to be more focused on making clear that Tine is not him than to watch it, while Bright looked way more relaxed and chill. What makes me wonder if Win is ashamed of being on a BL drama...
The acting, excluding the lack of chemistry to make the audience belive that there is love, is not bad. I've seen worse.
The music is nice too. Maybe they pushed Scrubb too much but it was okay.
Worth to watch again? Not really. It goes on the bottom part of my list. Not the last spot but almost.
Looking forward to the whole cast's next project and see if they improve.
