Both dramas are about music industry. In both you'll be able to see a group of 'kids' trying their best to debut, true friendships and loyality, love between an idol and a non-idol, achieving dreams, dating issues and the most important: a music company lying fans in order to cover their idols and keep their company up.

both dramas are about celebrity life and both the male leads are conceited. ;)

both cross dress stories. similar characters. both are very light, and fluffy, more suitable for a younger audience

its both about girls going as boys even though in k pop she does it because she wants to be famous and its her dreams but in ikemen its for her brother's dream.. its somehow has the same feeling its both

A robot or another guy: a relationship seems impossible, so it is easy to open up. But what is this feeling towards this guy or robot?
In both cases we see a slow growing of fondness and friendship, that is impossible to result in a boyfriend/girlfriend-relationship. At least it would be, wouldn't the guy or robot be posing as such while really being a girl.
Also again: soundtrack similarities. It really is clever, to produce a few good pieces to put them into multiple dramas!
Same goes for the Liar and his lover - just confusing, that in both dramas the same song is "composed" by the characters, otherwise it could be called "same universe".

Music, love, friendship, desire of achieving dreams, that's what this drama and movie have in common. You'll see a girl wanting to make her debut with some boys, a love story between a famous guy and a 'soon to be famous' girl, the ex-girfriend trying to get her guy back and also, the end in both drama and movies seems to be rushed.

The same kind of boy band meet girl idea. The main male lead has a love/hate relationship with the main female lead.

Fang Jia Hua is the successor of a business. His dream is to open a chocolate store and be an expert in chocolate. He ends up leaving his business and his family to fulfill his dream. Hong Xi En is someone who spent her days slogging and taking up part time work. One day, she ends up working for him and above all, she has to dress herself as a man for the job.
