Gigante (2010)

This was the first Korean drama that I watched where it had more than 16 episodes. About that time I was just now getting into Korean dramas and hit a snag and wanted to find something that would hold me over until I could bounce back and watching this while finding something else helped.

This series gave me glimpse of what goes on in a construction world. I never realized how tough the competition in building buildings was.

By this being a 60 episode series, the first half dragged a bit and then all of a sudden the children became adults. The second half dragged a bit too. I guess with 60 episode about an hour each, they had to make it stretch.

I strongly despised Joo Sang Wook's character. I seriously did. He didn't get the punishments he deserved throughout the whole series that made my blood boil! He have an arrogance about him that was displayed with his character choices. I have avoided watching anything else he's been in.

The way I felt about this character not facing justice the right way was also felt with several other characters that was in this. I kept feeling bad for the main male lead. He was just too doggone nice!!!

This was a good series to watch to surpass the time. I most certainly won't re-watch this series again though.

Most beautifully and masterpiece drama i ever watched in my whole life !my first time give a go for longest episodes and i’m still craving more! felt not enough for 60eps! i Love it so much even end up want to buy DVDs to keep it forever!

All these actors are brilliant!!! way beyond the best in my eyes! i ‘ve watched over 100 dramas in past to present and so far this GIANT stole my heart forever!!!!!

Been only a week ago, i completed this , still thinking about it because it’s one of BEST dramas and beautiful plot everything is beautifully!!! i can’t believe it’s under rate!! no way !

Give a go! trust me it’s get you on hook every eps!

so far, GIANT is my 1st top drama out of 100’s dramas i’ve watched.........

Great Business and motivation drama, if you liked the below mentioned drama you will like it

This Drama reminded me of many other recent dramas like" A place in the Sun, Father, I’ll Take Care of You, Money Flower, Itaewon Class, and Golden Empire". I can tell after watching this that they were all inspired by this it is such a great story. It was a long and bumpy revenge journey which felt exciting to watch. The relationship between the siblings was great. I only resent the writer for Minwoo and Miju's relationship which was an abomination. No sibling would ever continue loving a man like Minwoo. Let me remind you that from his childhood he made bad decisions like cheating, and attempted murder, he transferred them to a work camp where he was repeatedly tortured, he committed Arson by destroying the factory, Sabotage, Espionage, Multiple attempts at Destroying Gangmo, who is Miju brother, in the end because of him cutting corner in construction a building collapses, all he gets is a 2 year prison sentence and a happy life with Miju!!!!!!!!!! Poor Older brother Sungmo even got shot twice in the head, survived to destroy Minwoo's father, and died during surgery. We still didn't get to vent all the pent-up emotion on the villains. What happened to the remaining cabal of villains who repeatedly kidnapped and tortured innocent people for profit, What happened to that spoilt half-brother of FL, who murdered the president of a construction company, framed Gangmo for it, and together with Minwoo tried to kill him thrice in Jail.

LOVED IT!

Even though this drama has been out for sometime I am so glad that it is still available. This is such an incredible drama. There were a lot of emotions through out the storyline. It was heartbreaking to see all of the misery that the family went through. I found myself crying over the losses and pain that they experienced. This means that the actors performed such an excellent role. It was very long, 60 episodes but I am so glad I stuck it out until the end. I watched 3 or 4 episodes daily until I finished it. My heart broke when the older sibling didn't make it. Thank you for the ending and thank you for such a great story. All of the main cast were absolutely great. I could feel their emotions throughout the drama.

It is a good show to watch. Right from the start you can tell exactly where the story is heading it wasn't confusing and and a person who is hip to things could tell that every body would eventually come together. I like k dramas very much . Now i admit i get annoyed at how dumb the A/C act sometimes but ultimately you should for sure watch. If ur thing i don't want to watch something that goes back that far or it's too long i am teeling u it is very much worth the time to watch. espically if u like K dramas with revenge and the bad guy gets his in the end. also there is a good love story in it with all of the sibllings but def the sister.
