the drama is amazing
Begin Again is a drama that likes to usurp tropes by using tropes and therefore very trope-y. Lu Fang Ning is the female CEO who takes a wife husband so that she can inherit her father’s business. Ling Rui is like the Cinderella picked up by his Princess Charming. While she’s trying to seduce him to make babies she doesn’t know he’s already in love with her because he remembers their childhood past when she doesn’t.I don’t buy the chemistry between Lu Fang Ning and Ling Rui. Gong Jun has lost his touch on me. Meanwhile Zhou Yu Tong plays a rather outrageous and unrealistic character that I don’t think she successfully made me believe in her acting. What is there to like about Lu Fang Ning? She uses money to force him to marry her. She tries to spike his soup to make him have sex with her. She disappears for years without an explanation. In my eyes, she’s selfish. Other than helping Tang Ping with her stalker, I don’t know what else she did to deserve so much love.
It was the second couple who kept me entertained. I loved how Cai Si Yu transitioned from being an innocent and naive girl to being independent and overly suspicious (heh). Lu Yi Yao being called an oldie is funny.
Overall, the main couple is a miss for me but I can see why it would be entertaining for others.

"The Love Equations" is a sweet, light and heart warming love story with the cliches we have already seen in previous college/school dramas but with a touch that makes it more real and relatable, the drama has no ambitions and it's sad cause the story can explore more or different situations related to the leads, their relationship and people around them but it follows the first love relationship story. This drama shares elements of the previous works of its writer (A Love So Beautiful and Put Your Head On My Shoulder) which are very notable but this did not bother me cause I knew what I was gonna get when I started to watch it.WHAT I LIKE
- Chemistry between the leads and the cast in general.
- The female lead, Zhou Xiao is really a highlight of this drama.
- The male lead, FanZhou faces his familial problems at the same time he tries to be a good boyfriend.
- The love story, I like how we can see the growth of the couple relationship, from their very first met until their wedding.
- The female squad, the four girls were likable and relatable in their own way, there was a space for their stories and their friendship feel natural.
- Mental Health, we could see how FanZhou's mother could overcome her bipolar disorder with the help of her family.
- No second lead syndrome, I like Cai Yasi but FanZhou was always the only one who could gain the heart of the female lead.
WHAT I DISLIKE
- The finale feels rushed, after the one year they were separated their relationship was not the same, they needed more time get back together. Their reconciliation could have been better.
- The recycled annoying girl, Yu Chan.
- The show lost its essence, it started with the detective club but at the middle this stop being relevant for the plot.
- Not enough character development, the characters go for a limited line and show only the necessary feelings for the plot.
- Not balance in the story, the plot with FanZhou's mother would have been better in the middle so we could see more of their relationship at the end too.
ACTING
I think the cast did well during the drama, no actor makes me feel uncomfortable with her/his acting and actually actors make the characters likable. Simon Gong played perfectly the role of Zhao FanZhou with his expressive eyes, you can feel how he is falling in love with the female lead watching his them and most of the time he is the one who starts the romantic moments- including the kisses. Liu Ren Yu did it pretty good for her first lead role, she has a good chemistry with her co-star, and also with her friends which is important cause the drama has a space for female friendship.
PRODUCTION
In general, the drama is too bright to the point I had to low the bight to share scenes of it, the close ups are very exaggerated in some scenes and the edition in the last episodes looks rushed. The soundtrack in the drama goes well with the scenes, I want to highlight the song "Sweet Little Happiness" performed by Reyi (Liu Ren Yu) cause it's the one that reminds me this drama the most, the voice of the female lead is as sweet as the drama.
RE-WATCH VALUE
I will rewatch the cute moments of the couple from the first episodes.
PERSONAL RATE 9/10
The drama stands up in its category cause although it follows a well-known formula the characters were improved, especially the female lead. The plot is enjoyable without any crazy dramatic plot twist at the end. Perfect medicine for a rainy day

True love
It's a very sweet love story of 4 female roommates that start off on the wrong foot and become loyal friends and a mix match of 4 guys. They goes so many trails of making things right in the lufe/love. There are relationships, breakup, sadness, jealousy, hatred, lies, funny, misunderstanding, lack of conversation and funny A true college life. Had so many funny part's and some tears, but a true love story❤️❣️🎈❣️❣️❣️💏Why does it have to be 500 charterw❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Adorable
It's great but not as great as PYHOMS or ALSB but still it's beautiful and cute except for some annoying bitchy characters like Cai Yasi, Xi Yixing and Jia Yichun. They will annoy the living daylight out of y'all. But other than them, the story was fine and it progressed pretty beautifully. There was enough chemistry for the main leads but I think that if Fanzhou showed a little more emotions, it'd have been less than 28 episodes. Cai Yasi just got on my nerves so many times that he's the most hated character for me. He's damn annoying and always nagging Zhou Xiao to be his girlfriend. Same goes for Jia Yichun. She was a bitch all throughout the drama, till the end. But other than these people, it was beautiful. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll love itEsta resenha foi útil para você?
Better than Love O2O,A love so beautiful and Go Go squid that are way to overhyped.
This drama was funny, charming, light and fluffy (for the most part). All of the characters were likeable (well all besides one but it’s a Cdrama what do you expect)FL: has more personality and charisma than the FLs in Love O2O and is much more less annoying than the one in Go Go squid and Love so Beautiful (don’t get me wrong there are some moments when she is super annoying) but you can help but fall in love for her. The actress did an amazing job making her quirky and fun, and what I appreciated the most is that she wasn't boy crazy as other FLs in similar high school or collage dramas. She had her own goals and aspirations and she would stop at nothing to achieve them
ML: He is more charming and has more emotional range than your usual serious and emotionless ML. My biggest issue with him is that some time he got too stalkerish to the point that it wasn’t cute or romantic.
All in all I enjoyed this more that other shows that are considered a must watch and I would recommend this instead.

Sweet slice of life romcom
This drama was made by the same people that produced “A Love So Beautiful” (ALSB) and “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” (PYHOMS). I also see a lot of “Love O2O” in it. It has the handsome male lead that’s a genius scientist and is always walking around in a lab coat and has few friends because he’s so focused on his studies from PYHOMS. And it has the angst and lengthy breakup of ALSB. Then from “Love O2O” it has the pretty, confident, popular female lead that lives with several bff’s in their dormitory. The sismance is very similar to the sismance of “Love O2O” and is one of the things that makes this drama appealing. Overall it’s a good drama worthy of watching. But keep in mind that it’s not an action drama or a melodrama. It’s light and fluffy with just a touch of angst and drama but not too much. It’s a slice of life, coming of age drama that depicts youths facing the trials and tribulations of becoming adults. What I liked:
The storyline is good and the characters are interesting. There were a lot of kisses, cuddles, and skinship. And I liked that there were several side couples. The bromance and sismance kept it from being boring and made it cute. The family drama was just enough to make things interesting without going to far and make It annoying where you hate the parents. I also like that there was a good reason for the temporary breakup. It wasn’t one of those noble idiocy situations that has you rolling your eyes over the stupid reason to breakup. And it wasn’t some silly misunderstanding that could have easily been fixed with proper communication. The ML really did have a good reason to breakup if what he was lead to believe was the truth. Fortunately he was tricked and lied to and was able to fix the situation. So this temporary breakup was reasonable and believable which made me like this drama even more.
What I didn’t like:
I didn’t like that there was the typical cliche second female lead that was obsessed with the male and constantly causing trouble. It’s a drama trope that’s being way over used in dramas nowadays. It’s almost a given occurrence in romance themed dramas now. I also wish that there was more character growth. I didn’t see much of that here and it would have added to the depth of the drama. The female lead was a bit stiff during the kisses but it got better as the drama progressed. But I guess since she’s very new to acting I shouldn’t complain. I’ve seen much worse from much more experienced actresses. And speaking of acting, both the ML and FL did a really good job on their acting. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for their future dramas.
Overall I would definitely recommend this drama if you like PYHOMS, ALSB, or Love O2O because it’s very similar to these dramas. It’s light fluffy and sweet with a little bit of angst but it’s not overly done. I would definitely recommend watching this drama.

Likes:
- easy to watch and pretty cute
- I liked how the main male lead was kind of cold at the beginning but then slowly warms up
- main female lead went through lots of character growth and I think the actress really did a good job with the portrayal.
Dislikes:
- the misunderstanding that happens that was just really stupid actually and kind of ruined the rest of the story for me, but also I was pretty satisfied with the ending because of how cute it was (but not satisfied because it was definitely unrealistic for me?)
Watch it for cute side characters that make you laugh.

Are you here for something bright and sunny?
Hello blushing sweeties! If you are planning to watch something bright and sunny and enjoy the moments of "Aww, so cute" often, then this fits perfect. The story line is very light on your minds, in other words its the usual. Even though its the usual, I felt that they have included a lot of details that helped in elevating even the smallest interaction between the main leads.
Like how other light-hearted dramas get dragged in the end, this one is an exception! It keeps the viewers engaged with the scenes though the future scenes are quite predictable.
Simon Gong (main lead) could have loosen things up. He looked extremely stiff. There were some scenes too that lacked little practicality and reality. But they are forgiven since they were put in the first place to bring the main characters to where they are now!
Anyway, most of the human brains need to balance off emotions, including mine. If I am watching, say, horror, disturbing, crime thriller or mystery (that's heavy on my brain), then next time I make sure that I go for something really cute and heart warming. The flow goes on!
Thank you for reading my review.
Have a good day/night!

Common predicted plot, nothing new
I had high expectations from it after watching put your head on my shoulder. In the starting, I was actually impressed with the story. But later it went downhill. Typical same story I have read everywhere.
Points I don't like:
_the girl has no opinion of her own
_she is not completely into her
relationship and does nothing, simply trying to be cute which got annyoing later
_the boy looked handsome and reliable in the starting but after some time it was like his face become so annyoing to continue to watch, a sad pitiful expression completely plastered on his face
_she's stupid and doesn't care about her bf, her mind moving around to do stupid stuffs
_a break up without informing his gf an actual reason, where's the trust, so easy for anyone to break their relationship even though he's already a top student and really smart, and later chased her so badly
_annyoing way of running male lead after the female lead
_a typical common predicted plot
_no chemistry between them, only few cute scenes
This is only my opinion, if anyone thinks differently I respect that too.

All I can say is, the first half of the series is quite entertaining for me... but, after episode 16, how I wish I didn't start watching it. That's to tell how much I can't stand seeing a good novel turns into a disaster series.
I think this series isn't for international audiences like me, because I couldn't understand, nor empathize with the MC.
IMO, she became the main villain in her selfish idiotic acts... but, of course, this is only my personal opinion. I admit that I don't know much about the dating standards in China, nor do I'm familiar with the depth of Chinese culture, thus this is just too much for me.
Don't get me wrong, I have high respect for the Chinese and their grandiose thousands year culture, thus I hope my watch-later Chinese series/movies will reinstate my enjoyment watching C-drama.

If you need a sweet drama in the midst of the bitterness of life, you can watch this
I was surprised, because I had no expectations from this drama. I watched it because I finished watching Gong Jung's drama Begin Again.I think this drama is sweet, very visible campus situation... sweet teenage love and learning each other to become more mature. each character improves.
If you need a sweet drama in the midst of the bitterness of life, you can watch this. The placement of the sad scene is also suitable.
some say Gong Jung's acting is not good enough... but in my opinion he was able to give a good performance. how he let out his emotions when he had to choose to break up etc. highly recommend watching this...
This drama will make us smile a lot and remember about our love story when we were in college.
