I am afraid that this drama, so highly rated and supported by Korean's, is difficult to follow and kerp up with bc of the nimber of people in the cast. When having to read subtitled (which I don't mind at all) if there are a lot of characters engaged in dialogue at the same time it is extremely difficult to keep up with who is saying what and when and beginning able to take in the scene see reactions etc not to mention read all the dialogue. After 5 episodes neither my wife (a very fast reader) nor myself (a very slow reader) were able to connect with the characters or the story line. This was also the case with Reply 1988, which we were able to only get through 3 episodes before finding something else.
Another great episode had me laughing and crying at the same time. I loved everything about this episode, from Gyeo Wool, chasing down the abusive father (she is my hero) to Jung Won slighting her, she looked so hurt, but it just proved to me he really likes her even if he doesn’t know it yet. The mafia game with Jung Won’s mom and the gang was the best. I laughed so hard tears were rolling down my eyes to the singing husband and father – I loved it. At the same time, I couldn’t stop my tears from falling about the heart patient and his dad as well as the transplant patient and his family. Heartwarming stories all around.I knew Song Hwa didn’t like Chi Yong back, I mean romantically. I felt so bad for him. Jun Wan and Ik Jun’s sister OMG I love them, well I love her even though I shipped him with Song Hwa, it looks like that ship has sunk, ain't going anywhere but I'm ok with that. I ship Chu Min Ha and Suk Hyung, God knows he needs some romance in his life. Poor guy can never seem to get peace of mind when it comes to his good for nothing father. OMG, a Go Ah Ra cameo (I love her). That ending scene with Song Hwa, I hope all turns out well. Why oh why is this one episode a week; I need answers now.
~~~This may contain spoilers ~~~This series keeps getting better with every episode. Our favorite doctors' squad keeps giving us major friendship goals by discussing serious life events over dinner. Be it offering support to their friend's mother or ganging up to celebrate the birthday, the writer has taken time to build all the characters. This episode also shows us all potential partners for our five main characters. The story also progresses medically giving new patients and their stories tugging our hearts. Along with this. like every new episode, this episode has two new songs to add to your hospital playlist. The episode ended with a subtle clue about the secret of our badass female lead.
