Tang Fan solves a bunch of crimes all at once while enjoying his lunch. Sui Zhou finds and catches a great martial artist and brings him to justice. Tang Fan saves a girl but makes an enemy with a powerful lord's son. The Marquis's son dies mysteriously and Tang Fan is called in to investigate. He finds many clues that don't make sense, but everyone wants to just close the case. Then the emperor sends people to investigate and Tang Fan and his department are in trouble.
