boring but good story
●FIRST IMPRESSIONI felt a bit bored so I kind of dropped this at episode 3. after months I picked it up again and it still felt boring, with a budding romance angle because I wanted to see the psychometric power of ML, solving murder cases. So I skipped few scenes and in ep 6 it becomes interesting. when ML tries to uncover his power rather than to avoid it.
●PLOT VIEW
It was written nicely but had few flaws as there were too many flashbacks popping up. I also find this irritating that how each character zoned out once and blamed themselves for the mishap, if it was 1-2 characters then OK but so many saying “this is my fault” was annoying. It then takes a fast pace from the 6th ep and with that one murder case unfolding that how each character's past connection and pains. there were so many layers to one case unfolding so many previous cases showing the corrupted society who are selfish. the ending was good but the last tail of the case was it was like why did writers even come up with that YY angle if it didn't get the law punished.
●ACTING
It was pretty good and I likes Seung Mo and Lee An bromance. They were so natural like real brothers. Lee An goofiness suited Jin Young's face. Yoon Jae In and Eun Ji soo are the type of FL I like to see, strong smart, quick-witted, and fighter.
●MUSIC
"With You"OST is beautiful, obviously because of its English lyrics and subtle music. Others were beautiful too. I kind of liked the spooky BGM giving a ghostly vibe.
●QUOTES
>A person's memory is like a jumbled-up medicine cabinet, whether I pick up poison or an antidote, I can't tell until I swallow it.- Lee An
>He who fights against a monster must be careful not to become one himself. If I look into a monsters soul for too long, its soul will enter me too and see from within - Seung Mo
>We use every possible means to get over our painful experiences. But the scar remains and becomes an unerasable memory. It requires a lot of time to fade away- Lee An

Was really excited to see ACTOR PARK in action and taking on his first lead role in a 16 episode drama. With the announcement of the relationships of the cast, I did not expect this drama tilt towards the thriller component this much. I would say the thriller/investigation vs. romance is a 85% to 15%.
The amount of dead bodies, bloody scenes is more than romance. And I would say the psycho portion makes one feels worst. Humans that don't react normally will scare the hell out of you and make you constantly live in fear more than the non-living things does. Reason, you have no idea "what's next".
Towards the end, when everything starts to sync and gave a major throwback. It makes sense but gives loads of goosebumps as a viewer. The impact of the sound effect and OST really make me sit on a emotional roller coaster throughout the drama.
Love how the drama has a little component of "happily ever after" but not everyone deserves that.
Kuddos to the writer.
Hope to see more ACTOR PARK in the future!

so this is a rant because im hella upset for the drama writer a question you did this for what?
now lets start shall we
first of all this drama on paper is very up my ally shocking twists romance crime and comedy but the wway it was executed was lacking to say the least up until the 7th episode I was having fun the story was fun and easy to follow but then it suddenly switched genres to be only dark with a sprinkle of fun moments that seemed so out of place just brighten the mood but it honestly came out as forced overall it wasnt a bad drama its watchable but very lacking
now lets talk about why im mad shall we first of literally alot of characted were shot stabbed and what not and managed to survive but you killed the detective off for what huh? it wasnt even a tear jerking death it just felt very rushed another one of my reasons to be mad if you watch the last couple of eps youll feel as if you watched the characters go round and round for 10 eps for no reason at all cuz prosecutor kang knew everything all along so why put them in these kinds of situations and make them investigate for whattt? another thing like i mentioned previously i love a twist believe me i do but i refuse to believe that the guy that was smiling in a photobooth and taking care od An literally laughing with him was behind this and stayed silent foe that many years it just felt as if the writers wanted the viewers to be shocked but it honestly didnt feel convincing
on a brighter note I noticed that everyone was prasing jinyoungs acting but honestly for me the second leads stole the show cant wait to see them in other dramas

Coming into the story it was obvious that there was going to be more than just a cutesy love story. Granted it took some turns I could never have imagined, but that made it an even better story. Jae In and Ji Soo were well written female characters and entirely believable. So many dramas try to dumb down the women, or make them useless outside of a relationship. Here we had not one but two terrifically fleshed out characters, which were supported by other great women!
The music was good but not exceptional. There were no standout songs like I've come to expect from K-dramas, but still felt natural and didn't distract from any scenes.
Also there are no weak players in this series. The younger actors hold their own against the more seasoned actors, and Ji Soo's death was devastating to watch. Everyone involved should be proud of what they accomplished here!

this drama is probably my favourite kdrama out of all the dramas ive watched. at first, i didnt know who was jinyoung till i watched the entire drama and fell in love with him in every episode. he is so charming in this drama that it made me watched this drama for 5 times!! as a person who dont know who jinyoung is, i fell in love with him even more that i became a fan of got7. this drama really hits differently than all the dramas ive seen. those who never watch a kdrama before should really watch this drama first as it really is a splendid one. the love between them felt so real that i couldnt resist and move on from this drama. the crimes they solved were all scary but really interesting that made you really brave to watch it. really hope everyone would watch this drama because even the poster was appealing to the eyes. the writer really is a talented one as this drama became so popular in a short period of time. ? great story but rushed
personally the plot and the actingh was great, but the flow of the story in the first 10 eps is rather slow. from ep 11, we had some twists, which i felt very rushed, to resolve them in the last 9 eps. this also made the backstory of Seong Mo somehow feel incomplete, i'd like to know more about his feelings for Ji Soo, or maybe more about what they've been through. i was also frustrated that Ji Soo died, i was left shocked. and before, i always thought Seong Mo was a good guy, but the plot twist is acceptable as it's not very unexpected.overall, this is a movie i would watch again, but i consider this as a not verry happy ending for me, cause my favorite character Ji Soo died. but the plot is interesting and it's definitely a great show.

A drama I really bonded with the characters and actors.. First drama I've seen from start of airing till finish of it. Jinyoung's acting for a newcomer is unbelievable. He and Shin Ye Eun have great chemistry fit for a naive teenage/young adult couple that is just very sweet and cute. I was not expecting the turn to the more thriller side of the show after the fun and comedic start. Jisoo's death.. man, that was tough. The ending was bitter sweet, but all the loose ends were resolved. Going to miss this show. Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Twists abound on this journey…
A boy with the power to sense other people’s secrets with a simple touch. A girl who will do anything to hide a traumatic secret. Both dealing with past traumas in their own ways. What happens when these complete opposites meet & their worlds collide?I really enjoyed the relationships in this show. The ML { Jin Young } & the FL { Shin Ye Eun } have great chemistry & share a wonderful bond. It’s a unique situation due to the ML’s abilities, but they navigate it well. I mean, think about it - you’re falling in love with this great person but you have this huge secret you’re not ready to share because of how others who know the truth have treated you in the past. But this person you’re falling for will be able to know all about it with a simple touch between you. Would you have the courage to continue to fall for them?
And from the other perspective, you know the person you’ve fallen for is holding back from you due to a secret - a secret you could discover just by a mere touch. Would you be patient enough to wait for them to tell you while continuing to stay by their side? They hit a few snags along the way, but I think they handle this whole situation rather well.
Watching them grow closer as they work to solve the case is a journey I liked witnessing.
The second couple,( ML’s best friend + FL’s best friend, both since high school I believe) are a nice bonus. Him { Noh Jong Hyun } with her { Go Youn Jung } son is absolutely precious. What a total green flag!! 💚
I also liked the bromance between the ML & SML { Kim Kwon } so the ending was bittersweet, imho. I don’t want to give too much away, though, so I’ll leave it at that & let you make your own judgments 🤭
The Leads get their HEA so that helps make up for any lingering feelings of drama trauma I felt 💕

Crime/mystery/psychological drama with a bit of comic relief on the side
I love this one. Story started off some kind of highschool love story with a touch of paranormal. Then it turned into a crime/mystery/psychological drama with a of comic relief on the side. At first i thought there's not much on screen chemistry between the ML and the FL. But as the story progresses, I grew attached to the characters.
I also like that part that the FL was not just a pretty face. Yes she was bruised by the experiences she had while she was still young, but she was never weak or too broken..
Same with the ML who also had a rough childhood. A little rough around the edges but he still managed to be a young man with a good moral structure.
With sixteen episodes, the writers managed to give almost everyone a good backstory. Showing viewers who's who or what happened to the characters development. And oh, it has a happy ending. So, I'm happy. Good story, good actors, good OST..

The strengths of the show are the endearing two main leads and the fact that being a pyschometric is not an easy fix. Crimes can be complicated - seeing one piece doesn't mean you have the truth.
The mood of the show, however, changes dramatically between the first half and the second half. The first half is 'two young people solving mysteries and falling in love' and the second half is 'can you catch a psychopath before he kills more people.'
It also looses steam. Ultimately, at about episode 12, I just wanted it to be over. Something that could be wrapped up in one more episode took another 4 to finish.
I grade on other criteria as well:
Complex Themes -7
I enjoyed the three main themes. They were unique though only covered shallowly and easily covered in 1 - 2 episodes: 1) just because you 'know' a part of something don't presume you know it all - there often are no easy explanations solutions/fixes 2) it is a societal/community problem if the police are corrupt, and violent men are allowed to terrorize families. 3) if you try, you are capable of change - you are not a prisoner to the circumstances of your birth
Character Growth -6
While one of the themes is character growth, character growth isn't shown much on screen. We are told of changes but not really shown them.
Nuanced Women -7.5
There are strong interesting career women in the show, as well as female family members and friends. They were not complicated, intriguing or central to the plot. But it was refreshing to see so many female-female relationships given screen time.
Cinematography/Production Values - 7.5
Competent, but not particularly creative or interesting. There were a couple of group fight scenes that were stylishly done.
