second time's is the charm here
this is my second viewing, and I found new layers of teenage angst that I missed on the first viewing. Overall, we have a story that is based on a book and badly directed and horrible cinematography...and YET...there's an urgency to the actions of the main couple, that hits for anyone that experienced that first teenage love. Where every moment together is super important. The two mains Tee and Mork are not winning awards for acting but there is a genuine chemistry that will have you pulling for them seemingly against all odds. Two people who should never work finding a way to do it anyway.
A lot of the scenes feel out of date and stray and seem all over the place. The story drags at times but at its best, it shows two people learning how to care for each other. And we can all use a little romantic optimism nowadays.
That's why I gave it a nine out of ten.

I come up with 3 points I want to share:
1. The packaging of this series comes with not much happy and fairy-tail ish box. This might why people are not really fond of the story that much. But I think most of the gays can relate to the struggle, dilemma, and how society perceives boy loving other boys.
2. Compare to other BLs, let's be honest Thai series are still learning, developing, and growing. Other Thai series also got some huge and a lot amount of holes in the story. I know that in the middle of this series can be very confusing, and I can understand why people said so. I also agree that this might not be as good as other Thai BL Series like Sotus. Theory of Love, Tharntype, and 2Gether.
3. Acting is on point (except I find Gord a bit awkward) but knowing that Drake and Frank were very new back then in the industry. Their acting and chemistry in this series are top-notch. There are very minimum cringy moments, and all the skinship, the love, the stare, are all-natural and lovely.
Conclusion: This series comes with very real struggle and conflict with family and society like how LGBTQ+ struggle in real life. This is not your typical BLs that all people seem to be okay with a gay relationship. The problem, the struggle, and the denial are real. We can't deny the story can be confusing, as the anger and the character's emotion is over the place. However, overall the delivery of the main actors and supporting actors are great, Drake and Frank definitely have great chemistry together, with fewer even no cringy moments for me which is an achievement. However, the story flows and directing can be better. But overall I am very satisfied especially for Drake and Frank's character and their acting ability. I love it.

Disappointing, even if you just want to watch for Frank and Drake
I came into this show without high hopes because I’ve never seen people praising it for its quality or plot. Overall, I wanted to like this show because they get some things right. It’s undeniable that Frank and Drake have amazing chemistry (but it's not romantic chemistry). Their best acting moments are opposite each other. Gord and Morn work out great as a pair and the actors are good. But, unfortunately, this series is a mess. The audio when the scenes are outside is terrible, specially in the bridge, which they visit every episode. Some plot lines either don’t make sense or just don’t go anywhere, like Bambie and her friend (?) or Tee’s dad. The story is not linear, it feels like the writers don’t know how to flow from one plot point to the next, so they just jump forward with no explanation. I don’t know if the writing is just bad or if they didn’t have money/time to make this show right. It’s very weird to see such a poor production quality from GMMTV.

Another wasted potentional
When I came across this show, I was excited to see it had some of my favourite BL actors; I wasn't expecting anything amazing since it's an 'earlier' show (coming out in 2018, whilst most of the shows I've seen are 2020+), and initially I was really sucked in. Was the acting great? No. Was the script good? Also no, but there was heart in it, and it really did do have the cute enemy-to-friends vibes. However, half way through the series it all sort of went sideways. Out of nowhere the 'love is love' supporting adult is homophobic when it's her own son, which could have worked had it been executed properly. There was also the random revelation that the two boys had been friends in the past but fell out because Mork had got a little too curious about Tee's body, which really kind of came out of nowhere if you ask me. I also don't know why Barbie and Ching were included at all, because their side story was almost non-existent and pointless.
I really am sad that the second half of the series went so poorly; I read somewhere that there was a change in director/writer/crew or something half way through and that's why it's very different, but regardless, it did ruin the show for me. If it had continued as it was, I truly think this would have been a great series.

Frank and Drake's chemistry was so on point. You can feel the love through the screen. I love it, I want to say one of the best one from all the BL drama that I watched (I watched a lot). Though I think the plot is kinda messy (or really messy), I think the first episodes are worth watching. It was light and funny at the same time. So if you just want some cheezy romcom I definitely recommend watching the first episodes (1-6). The rest episodes have too much drama going on.
The story was confusing, you will have a lot of questions from the first episodes. Unfortunately, the confusion was not well explained in the following episodes. In the first episodes, I thought their staring and flirting was inappropriate as Tee supposedly has a girlfriend. It was so weird that he wanted to win his girlfriend back by making Mork his pretend boyfriend, it just doesn't make any sense (though a lot of BL plot usually doesn't make sense). After I finished the series I just realize that they have feelings for each other for a long time, so Tee was actually made the winning his girlfriend back as an excuse to win get close to Mork. It was actually natural for them to pick up the unfinished business from the past which makes their relationship believable and actually very romantic. If you like a sweet, romantic, and light drama. The firsts episodes of My Tee is a must-watch. To achieve that conclusion, however, took quite a time.
The second half of the series was a mess. It was realistic that for a gay lover in high school to have dramas but, not like this. It's just drama after drama after drama, and the sweetness in the first episodes (that got me hooked), all gone all of a sudden. The drama that I praised for being sweet and light just turned to be the opposite. It was not that I don't like any drama its the drastic change that it just turn 180 degrees without warning I have a problem with. There are also some characters that were there but you know doesn't seem necessary?
Overall the music was definitely good, the acting could be better (the chemistry was so on point but that's not the case for the acting), the plot is quite a mess I would say (even the first half that I like). As a whole, this drama lack a lot but don't drop it just yet because I myself wonder how I didn't pick this drama sooner. The 6 stars are actually a generous rating from me, I would rate this lower (if i were to objectively rate this) but I love this drama so much and I rewatched some scenes several times. because at the end of the day, I watch this for entertainment, and if I enjoy it so what with plot holes right?

I can say in terms of the main casting, I love it! Theres a strong chemistry between Tee and Mork. Both handsome and perfect for the role. Frank is a revelation in this series. And I hope to see more of him in this kind of BL drama. I became a fan.
Honestly, I lost in the middle of the series. There were loopholes that needs to be address. But gained momentum again in the last 2 episodes.
The setting was very convincing. It features real houses, rooms and not just some units in a condominiums.
I suggest that they should make a season 2 of this. To give justice and answers to the loopholes in the middle of the series.
I also love the music. Theres a recall to it.
Season 2 pls..

Good but not great
To be quite honest, I'm not a big fan of Drake. I'm always distracted by his hair and eyebrows and not in a good way. Besides this fact, I found the series quite enjoyable. The interactions between the characters (within the couples and without) are very natural and believable. I adore dad Muad, he obviously loves his sons to death. The one character I could not support is Mama, and not because of her obvious homophobia, but for her lackluster performance. I have seen this actress in MUCH better roles, it seems this just did not suit her.The drama was obviously struggling with financing, since editing is sloppy at some points (situational chronology is off). The sound is abominably bad. But even with these flaws, the drama was a good watch, which means the story stands.
I would have liked some more skinship, but the love between the couples is clear enough on its own. There are many loving and sincere interactions that made my heart flutter.

Plot holes but so worth it.
This was really cute, basically just fluff if you think about it.Not going to lie there are a lot of plot holes but Mork is a really adorable character. He really does have that "thing" that just makes it impossible to NOT love him. There were also some continuity errors but most pass by without too much notice.
Some of the conflict in the show seems a little bit ridiculous but other moments between the two main characters really make up for it.
It was nice also to see a show that is not necessarily set in the school for the majority of the show.
And the sound track is lovely, especially the main theme.

Story focuses on main characters
This was one of the first Thai BL drama series I watched and found on YouTube. After now seeing dozens and dozens of these type of shows, 'Cause You're My Boy really focuses in on the main characters. A lot of dramas now have all these side characters they also focus on and you lose track of the main characters, but not so much in this show. Mork and Tee are cute together. Pay close attention to the story because I had to watch it twice to figure out both of the characters knew each other in what I assume was in middle school, but because of a misunderstanding, they never really spoke to each other ever again until later in high school where the story takes place. The side story of Mork's brother, Morn, and his friend, Gord, is cute, but they don't really go further than just remaining friends. If there was spin-off or a sequel, I'd think it would be interesting if writers expand their relationship.

Overall, this series was fun but it lacked many things. The audio is crap at times but bearable.

Regrets.
