Story (10/10):
Legend of Fei is based on wuxia with a lot of martial arts skills and footwork. The development of the story will take place as Zhou Fei confronts with missions and she will eventually become stronger by learning some new skills from some of the Qian Bei (seniors) with some side stories. During these adventures, there will be interactions of some cute and sweet moments between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei.
Xie Yun is a mysterious person who you will want to know and discover more about him in the later episodes. Despite his background and identity, he still dares to wander around the merciless Jiang Hu with his smart ideas and ways to rescue Zhou Fei and the others from some scenarios which truly shows us that Xie Yun is a smart and clever character. I love those Qing Gong (footwork) moments of Xie Yun along with Zhou Fei’s cool and talented sword skills (we have a very strong female lead here). The combination of Xie Yun and Zhou Fei are always so amazing, like how Xie Yun knows how to put his footwork skills into action along with Zhou Fei.
The chemistry between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei remain sweet throughout the entire episodes, YunFei <3 Another thing I love about Legend of Fei is the strong bond and love between YunFei (Xie Yun and Zhou Fei), they really trust each other to the extend that we do not see any misunderstandings between them. Not only Xie Yun and Zhou Fei, but also the process of how Chu Chu gets to trust Zhou Fei and Li Sheng is what makes Legend of Fei a wuxia with strong friendship. On the other side, I love how Xie Yun and Zhou Fei are always willing to stand by each other no matter how tough their journey is going to be, like those moments they stand side by side is so cool :') They also care for each other deeply that there's always this sentence from either of them, 'I'm willing to do anything for Xie Yun/A Fei as long as it can save him/her'.
I love the development of Li Sheng’s character as well; he became such a smart and reliable person protecting those important to him, putting those skills in helping the Jiang Hu world at the same time. Li Sheng and Chu Chu makes a cute ship too ;)
We have team trio too which consists of Li Yan, Yang Jin and Ying He Cong. Yang Jin is such a cool gentleman who always tries his best to protect Li Yan, along with Ying He Cong. I absolutely love these three uwu
The remaining side stories like Yin Pei, Mu Xiao Qiao, Duan Jiu Niang, Li Zheng etc are worth watching too. It will bring you closer to the mystery of Hai Tian Yi Se.

Acting/Cast (10/10):
All the actors/actresses played their roles very well especially Yibo (Xie Yun), Li Ying (Zhou Fei) and Oscar Sun (Yin Pei). They really put their roles into action as if you can see the actual characters in them which is really a great job, had to applaud them for those hard work. I have watched previous works of Yibo and Li Ying; congrats to them, their acting improved a lot :D As Yibo’s fan, Yibo portrayed Xie Yun impressively. I love the way Yibo smiles as Xie Yun. Furthermore, Yibo managed to play Xie Yun as a fearless character, the way Xie Yun smiles to face those difficulties and obstacles positively is something I actually admire about Xie Yun. He truly knows when and how to react to each situation even though it might cause danger. This is a huge mark added to the overall ratings of Legend of Fei.

Music (10/10):
I have never skipped the opening (Zhu Lang) and ending songs (Wu Hua) of Legend of Fei throughout the entire 51 episodes. Zhu Lang is one of the coolest opening songs I have ever listened, it really brought the wuxia atmosphere in Legend of Fei while Wu Hua is an ending song which focus more on how Zhou Fei and Xie Yun want to return their feelings to each other, this further strengthen the love between YunFei. I love Xi Wei sang by Yibo too, Xi Wei shows how much Xie Yun loves Zhou Fei <3 The remaining ost are fantastic too, I am listening to all the ost of Legend of Fei sometimes.

Rewatch value (10/10):
I had rewatched some episodes again like those YunFei moments and even some other cute, cool funny moments. I screenshot lots of Legend of Fei pictures, so I know when I want to rewatch which scenes again or I also would not mind rewatching some full episodes XD

Overall (10/10):
For those people who read my review, I hope it helped you give a try to watch Legend of Fei uwu If you like wuxia and Legend of Fei suits your type of genre(s), I would highly recommend you to watch and also recommend to your family and friends too, it’s a decent wuxia. Not into Wuxia dramas? This drama will change your mind.

Honestly, I started watching this because of Wang Yibo. As I’ve always tried watching costume dramas but I tend to not finish it or just drop it because of personal taste.

BUT THIS DRAMA Y’ALL. Every episode was exciting, with lots of fight and action scenes with amazing martial arts skills paired with a “ride or die” romantic relationship where both of them would risk their life for each other.

LEAD WOMAN WASN’T A DAMSEL, INSTEAD SHE WAS AN ALPHA. This is why I loved this even more. Fei’s character would always stand up for what she thinks is right and Xie Yun was always there to support her.

There wasn’t much kissing scenes BUT GIRL DID THE ROMANCE BLEW UP? YES IT DID. The characters didn’t have to be clingy to each other to show romance on screen, because their relationship in the drama was too deep. It wasn’t just a fluffy romance thing, it was a die for you kind of relationship and they would do ANYTHING to protect each other. Their skills both grew as they fought a lot of sectors.

THIS DRAMA GAVE ACTION, ROMANCE, ANGST, and EXCITEMENT in each ep.

If you were to ask me before, it would be impossible for me to finish a 51 ep drama coming from a 10 ep jdrama watcher BUT I WAS ABLE TO FINISH THIS IN A FEW DAYS. THAT’S HOW GOOD IT WAS.

Good story but if you came after watching The Untamed and expect the same energy, get back.!

The story's momentum does not pause and that is what makes it interesting to watch. Unlike in any other Cdramas, here you'll find a very cheerful male lead (but for a certain period of time). The revealing/ discovering of secrets and new things are well portrayed. I'll give it 7/10 for story and screenplay.
But, nothing in this universe is perfect. That being said, let me tell you beforehand that female lead looks wayyyy older than the male lead. I think they should've casted someone who looks younger or equals to Yibo. I said this because most of the audience are very much used to seeing matching couples on Asian dramas. Female lead, to me, sometime feels like Yibo's elder sister. The chemistry how much ever tried, looks dry because of the visible age gap.
So if you are looking for chemistry, there is a very rare chance for it to be in your liking.

disappointing drama with famous actors

This is a film that was talked about in the social media and overly praised by media because of the two main leads. I love Zhao Li Ying in Princess Agents and have high hopes before watching this drama. I was so disappointed in this drama because I could not feel any chemistry between ZLY and WYB as a couple but more like older sister and brother. ZLY is not believable as a 16 year old girl and matching her with Yibo who is 10 years younger than her is very apparent. I was so disappointed as I am a great fan of ZLY. I also didn't like the whole setting as it looks so unnatural (fake). The pace is so slow and lost interest so many times. I dropped this drama so many times and watched other show and then come back to this later on. This was a highly anticipated drama so I was really disappointed that it didn't turn out what I expected. Hope ZLY will get better offers to appear in the drama that suited her. Yibo 's acting is OK but not convincing nor natural since he is pretty new in the acting community and has not attended any drama/acting school like others so I am sure he will get better in the coming year.

before we get into all the bad things... THE MUSIC IS SO AWESOME!! its fitted in all the right places and the singers' voices are magical! definitely search up the ost even if you don't want to watch it!!

alright so zhao liying, female lead is 10 years older than wang yibo, male lead. although that isn't too bad of a difference, they don't have much spark. additionally the dubbed voices are so weird? and funny? and very out of place. especially the yulao (guy with mustache) this drama was one of the most anticipated dramas of early 2021 because of the castings but the production team let us down (in my opinion)

this wasn't a terrible watch, but i would definitely watch something other than this one if i could go back in time. however, i have to emphasize again!!! the music!! does!! wonders!! to!! your!! ears!! seriously i love the ost for this drama.

Classic Wuxia Remix

A very typical wuxia story - it feels very much like the classic memories I have of watching Legend of Condor Heroes in my youth. Classic story of young hero leaves home, has adventures and levels up continuously - I'm expecting it to end with defeating the big bad and saving the world. It's unafraid to throw in spins on the genre - it is after all the "Legend of Fei", so an immediate twist is that it is the female lead who is the ultimate martial artist in training. The story is all classic tropes - people to save, McGuffins to fetch. I do like that there's no harem or love triangle romance shenanigans, but also things are pretty restrained - more conversations, smiles and tears. I'm not expecting any steamy romance clips. A good, solid, wholesome series so far.

IF YOU HAVE WATCHED IT OR GOING TO WATCH YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN THAT WANG YIBO AND ZHAO LIYING SUITS IN HISTORICAL DRAMA PLUS COUSTUME TO . THEY LOOK REALLY AMAZING TOGETHER NOT TO MENTION EVEN THOUGH ZHAO IS MARRIED BUT STILL THEY LOOK GOOD TOGETHER . I AM REALLY LIKE WHEN I WATCH THE OST IT'S LIKE I SHOULD WATCH ONE MORE AND ONE MORE . ITS VERY ATTRACTIVE DRAMA . THIS TYPE OF DRAMA SHOULD COME MORE AND MORE BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE ONLY GET TO SEE THIS TYPE OF MASTERPIECE RARELY. Just because the main lead

Highly anticipated drama that come out after zhao li ying gave birth only like this... I'm quite disappointed. This drama only got point because of the main lead is zhao li ying & wang yi bo. If not them i don't think this drama will gonna have this high rating.

The plot itself for me quite boring. More episode toward the ending more bored i got. Several first episode still quite interesting. But for me this drama get downhill after xie yun (XY) wake up from his comma. It don't get the romance that i'll hope gonna take uphill. & the story itself really like stretch to the point i can't take it anymore and just watch it really fast, just to know what the treasure about & will XY actually cured or not, they just stretch the story for so long, the pace getting slower and slower, so many unnecessary scene & dialogue... Maybe if they shorten the episode it will gonna more interesting.

Many scene or plot that doesn't make sense. The biggest one is why the anping troops must be exist... They are former dynasty troops while XY the one supposed to be the king not even interested to be the king. So what the use of anping troops, they said to protect the people, from what....??? I don't think the people suffer in the current dynasty. If there is war that because of them don't want to give up. See... Really makes no sense right for them to exist in the first place...

The character the most interesting is only XY & Yang Jin 'the bonehead'. I have to give applause to Wang Yi Bo, he really nailed his character. But for Zhao Li Ying... I quite bored with her character always stiff like this & this is not even the best. Their chemistry itself... I only get the sense it's only until friendship level not lover.

So overall i quite disappointed with this drama. Just watch this if you the fans of the actor, not because of the story.

The characters and their relationships made this drama

Admittedly, this drama took me some time to finish but ultimately i am so happy I did finish it. The weakest facet ofnthis drama is the story as many people have mentioned. It isnt bad or awful, but nor is it grabbing. To me things were going very slowly and not enticing. What made stick around the most was the characters and their relationships. Especially, but not limited to the main couple. The romance was my favorite part of this drama! A slowburn friends to to lovers.

Both the leads were fun to watch by themselves but ten times better when together. I love it and it was always them who made me come back anytime I took a break.

Second best part was the martial arts. I found myself on the edge of my seat almost every battle and enjoyed the choreography.

Lastly, the music. It really does get better the more you watch these characters and get attached to them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and can see myself watching it again some time down the road.

treasure hunters

Overall I liked the series. I also suited Zhou Li Ying.i for the role. But I didn't find it suitable. The reason is; Being weak and petite, knocking down anyone in front of him. Fighting for hours, fighting not one but many. However, even if he fights with a person with his physique, he becomes smoke. He's already tired. He can't even lift the sword. But it's a series after all. Fantastic. Fitting things. If I fit the role, he worked and made up the outfit he wore. His stance, his gaze, and even a few movements suit him. He matched well with Wang Yi Bo, who is much younger than himself. So they're numb. If there is Li Ying.in's effort in this, I don't know. Yi Bo.'s look older than his age, his weight when necessary, his smile and pleasantness when necessary also helped. With its physical structure, Yİ BO got full marks from me. It was pretty good. Zhang Hui Wen, especially Chen Ruo Xuan, Zhou Jie Qiong with his funnyness, Zhang Xin Yu were the actors who brought me the drama that I liked. Of course, Veteran players were also very successful. In other words, there was a group of players close to perfect as CAST. I like it. Only the exaggerations, logical errors and mistakes in the story lowered my grade for the series. I don't like the things that the screenwriters did and happened. I want it to pass through a little logic so that its feasibility can be reviewed. Let's get some thought and worry. They mostly rocked. It's a fantastic series. That's why I say. But as I said overall, it was a very good series. I even compared the final treasure search scenes to the US movie TREASURE HUNCHERS. I had a good time. I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch.

Something to always remember

I am going to keep this short as possible even though that will be hard because there is so much i could say about this drama. NO SPOILERS included.

Wang yibo and Zanilla is one pair i never thought would look good on screen together but it was some good chemistry that i couldn't even realise the age difference. I came for both these actors but stayed for the characters. Wang yibo has never played a comedic role before but i swear when he started talking i couldnt help but laugh. And then we have Zanilla an actress that has been on our screens for years but never have i finished any of her dramas. No, not even princess agents. Why? Not because she isnt a good actress but because the storyline didnt attract me. With legend of fei i didn't skip any parts. It was never boring. So much so that i keep on rewatching without even realizing. I suggest those that havent hopped on this master piece to do so right now. This is my favour wuxia for 2021, then douluo continent, then WOH.

Now tu tu your way over to any site or even YouTube and devour this 5 star Michelin meal (only stays or those who listen to gods menu by stary kids understand)

cute and slow developing romance with no toxicity and a journey around the wuxia world,

If u r someone who puts so much thoughts on cgi and dubbing thn u might feel troublesome
firstly i wanna say about romance part coz i wasnt expecting it to be so perfectly presented and well paced development despite the age gap of a decade.it made me forget tht there is really a huge gap in their ages and i just cant help shiping thm (of course the drama characters).It developed so beautifully tht u cant point out a specific momnt from when they started to fall in love.they didnt make things worse creating misunderstanding among the leads thts the best thing.and they always faced everything hand in hand .
if i say of the characters they have a huge character development throughout the series by experiencing several events ,loss and gains.they start to understand life better day by day and turns thoughtful from naive..also some characters are really hillarious but still so reliable.the stry doesnt revolve around the leads rather the collaboration with the supporting roles are really worth praising
about martial arts, the female lead develops day by day.thankfully they didnt show her so strong since the begining but made her improve day by day. the demons were also powerful and there was always a pace between demons and righteous martial artist .like they neither always made the demons sucessful which literally makes me think doesnt other people have brains nor did they always made the main sects victorious which would be so unrealistic.

just give it a try.and if u dont like the starting dont drop it.its really worth watching .
