Very similar concept overall except The Truth S2 has a bit more elaborate backdrops/buildings than Who's the Murderer. The Truth S2 also has more jump scares.
Who's the Murderer has been running for 9 seasons now while The Truth is pretty new.
They're similar to each other in the fact that one of 5-7 members is a murderer and there is a detective(s) that is trying to suss them out. All players have to go around finding evidence and discovering the motives of the suspects and they vote at the end to find who the Murderer is.

Similar script of finding the murderer amongst themselves. Some people who played in WITM had also starred in GOS. They both vote out the murderer by finding evidence of crime and motive and pinpointing who is the likeliest to have murdered the victim. Every episode has a new and intriguing storyline .
Mystery. Death. Murder.
Both 'Who's the Murder' and 'The Truth' involve a series of random or interconnected cases in which one or more individuals are murdered. The main cast must investigate the scene, interview suspects and work together to not only solve the case but vote for the murderer. Only the murderer can lie, everyone else must tell the truth when asked. If the murderer is voted correctly then the rest of the cast earn themselves a golden key or small bar of gold. But if the murderer successfully manages to escape suspicion then he or she gets awarded with the prize.
In a game of cat and mouse, no one is who they seem.
Trust no one.

This is the Chinese counterpart to the Korean variety show "Crime Scene". In this show, participates have to find who is the murderer among them in a mock crime scene. Later seasons feature some episodes with real locations or completely built sets, which leads to more immersive environments like the "Great Escape".
