Great!!! but could be better

Story
Now story wise for Tee and Fuse. Thank goodness he finally saw that his girlfriend was being really suspicious. I think that their story (Tee and Fuse's) was made a lot more difficult for no reason. Frame and Book's story honestly I thought it was a really good way of showing how what your parents think will always affect you. It was really sad but it ended so well. I also low key loved Yok and Lukmo's story. It was soooooooo good.

Acting/Cast
The acting was just sometimes not really there for me I don't know. Like I felt that sometimes they would overreact to small things and under react to big things. The cast however is great I love all of them.

Music
I don't know the OST just really wasn't doing it for me. I feel like the OST has to make me feel the show but this one just didn't.

Overall
I do recommend watching especially for FrameBook and LukmoYok. Both great stories.

I don't know why this has got not so good ratings...

I really loved that series. I don't know why so many didn't like it that much, I just don't get it. The actors are young but acting was still good, a lot better than in season one. I actually don't have anything bad to say about this series... It was good and nice to watch (at leas most of times). I wouldn't watch it again, but that's just because I don't usually re-watch series :) I really loved all main couples (u know what I mean) <3 FuseTee was my fav here but also BookFrame was so ♡♡ (don't die for all those cuteness :)). And Mo, my babyyy :') Also Tee - the best boyfriend ever <33 If you even a little bit think, should you watch it, WATCH IT!

I’m not going to lie — MIR2 is often infuriating to watch. Fuse is SO INFURIATING, watching him pull a “let’s just be friends” with Tee to “date” (if you can call it that) Jean. But it’s a genuine journey that the characters go on, and in the end, it’s actually worth sitting through. Yes, I yelled repeatedly at Fuse. I even yelled at Tee. But it was very much like Theory of Love in that way.

Book and Frame’s story is so emotional. Watching Frame support Book throughout his controversy was so powerful.

I don’t know why people don’t like the acting in this series — I think they’re all quite good and I exceptionally disagree with the sentiment that Boom (Tee) isn’t a good actor. He’s excellent at expressing his emotions in his eyes.

I actually liked this sequel MORE than the original just because it really felt like a powerful emotional story and a real journey for the characters. It was frustrating but ultimately rewarding.

In this season the story is further fragmented, every couple have their own problem which were more deeper than before and more concentrated for each partner. -1- Tee n Fuse couple, in the beggining till middle of the series i'm so bored because i think the conflict are monotonous. -2- Mo n Yok couple kinda rush, suddenly Mo fell in Love and moved in with Yok. I can't relate. But thanks they're so fun! so i can tolerate. -3- Frame n Book couple, their love story is the most interesting compared to other couples. their chemistry was so good too. -4- Rodtang n Nine couple, omg i couldn't get their chemistry, seriosly zero! maybe because the actor who play as nine had replaced.

If i compare to the first season, i think balanced. The first season story was interesting in the beggining and for the second season story was much interesting at the last. Actor who plays as Tee his acting has improved on the other hands there are few of support roles in MIR season 2 weren't good in acting. Also i liked the opening music in season 1 more than in season 2.

And i wanted to give a honour to the actor who play as Frame he did a great job! I just knew that this is his first debut acting! also he never dated before (when this series were made). But he know his character and apply it so well!

This was much more interesting than season 1 and the cast's acting improved quite a lot. One small issue in terms of cast was that there was too many of them, and it was starting to get confusing at one point. The story line also started to seriously drag. Especially the last 5 episodes. It became EXHAUSTING to watch. The main couple (Tee and Fuse) started to become really annoying and draggy. Frame and Book was the only reason I continued to watch.

However, there are so many concerning issues with this season that made me uncomfortable or even disgusted.
1. Fuse literally cheating on Jean, chose Jean instead of Tee, broke up with Jean the moment he found out she was cheating, and ran back to Tee right after that - Sends the message that it's okay to cheat and that you should always have a back-up?
2. Tee accepting Fuse right after the break up. Despite the fact he was only second in Fuse's heart when Fuse had to choose between him and Jean. - That's just sad.
3. Frame almost having a threesome with his boyfriend's ex and the school teacher? And then the teacher giving advice as if they weren't about to have sex with a student? - Potential pedophilia + teacher-student relations?
4. Wit and Yok's mom... What the hell was that even. Aren't this kids like 16 in the show and in real life? I don't know what the hell was going on but it creeped me out. - Pedophilia

Anyways, this show could've been so much better. There were a lot of great scenes though

**Potential spoiler regarding one couple has been marked**

STORY:
- Honestly, Book and Frame were what saved this drama for me. I loved watching their relationship progress and loved how doting Frame was, supporting his boyfriend the best that he could as trouble from Book's past came to light. I wish this was the main story of Season 2, as I would have loved to see it fleshed out more, but I thought it was presented fairly well, though the "resolution" felt a bit glossed over. If it weren't for them, I don't know that I would have finished watching it (at the very least, I would have dragged it along).
- The main couple, Tee and Fuse, yeah, I got bored with them. Sure, they're sweet, and Tee is absolutely adorable and a saint for putting up with all of Fuse's crap. But my main problem with them was that a majority of Season 2 felt like a repeat of Season 1 in terms of their relationship. ***POTENTIAL SPOILER**** Fuse is still trying to figure things out with his girlfriend, while stringing Tee along like a side piece, decides to be just friends with Tee after his girlfriend tells him that her mystery man is just her brother, and then has the nerve to be upset when he sees (1) Tee being pursued by someone else, and (2) discovers that his girlfriend actually lied and has been cheating on him (like he was doing to her with Tee). ***END POTENTIAL SPOILER***. Overall, I just wasn't as into them, and quickly lost interest in their story line.
- The other couples were either boring or ridiculously stupid, but all of them could have been left out without ruining the drama. Of those couples, Mo and Yok received the most screen time, but they were obviously there for comedic effect, and their relationship felt fake and manufactured. As for the others, there just wasn't enough time devoted to their story lines, so they felt more like unnecessary filler which could have been put to better use developing Book and Frame.
- Couples aside, much like Season 1, if you can get past the cringe-worthy and questionable humor of the first 2 episodes, it's a decent series that showcases the tenderness and challenges of young love. I would say that the sweet moments were better written, as some of the drama and antagonistic characters felt forced and stereotypical.

ACTING/CAST:
So-so. Some actors were better than others. TeeFuse and BookFrame, as couples, had great chemistry together. The actors playing those characters, as well as the one who played Lukmo, were probably the stand-outs for me from this cast.

MUSIC:
Again, so-so. Nothing too memorable. Sometimes it seemed a little loud.

RE-WATCH VALUE:
If I were to re-watch anything, it'd be the scenes with Book and Frame.

OVERALL:
It's definitely one of the racier teen dramas out there (so props to them for going there), and some parts were just so stupid you had to laugh, but there were also plenty of sweet moments as well. It got a little tedious towards the later half of the season, and I was ready for it to end. I'd give it one thumb up and would probably recommend watching, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I'm just writing this because the main couple drove me up the wall.

Fuse did not deserve Tee in any way, shape, of form. It was toxic because Fuse dragged him along his so-called undecided mindset. He goes back and forth and every time Tee just takes him back, waits for him to hopefully break up with his gf but nope we have to wait nearly the entire season to get any sort of resolution and it does not, to me, make up for what Tee had to deal with. It was not sunshine and rainbows it was practically emotional gaslighting.

Angst, I love you

I'm not really getting all the hate for this season. I actually really liked it. I will say if you don't like angst and just want sweeeeeeeet moments then honestly just watch the last 2 episode of this season b/c its a little toothache inducing. Little too sweet for me there, but since it was right at the end it was okay. I'm a pretty big fan of angst so this season was great for me. I liked the drama and there were a lot of stomach dropping moments which is one of my favorite things. I thought the acting improved as well.

This show is so wild to me... they talk and include to some REALLY hmm dirtiness, yet it's it's weirdly wholesome. The kisses are usually barely touching lips and sometimes they just use the camera angle to fake kisses (I know bl's have changed a lot in 5 years and the cast was young during filming). It's just a funny mix. I will say this show did a good job at showing actual flirting and stuff. So many shows go beyond romanticizing that it almost takes ALL desire away from the couples. I'm not talking they need to be naked in bed constantly.. I mean they have to show that they actually like each other and are a couple. Flirting and simple touches are sometimes stripped from shows and the friends will touch more than the actual couple! So I did like that I could tell the characters actually liked and wanted each other even when most of the intimate moments were tame. I think that's needed in more shows.

(Also there were a lot of problematic moments.. especially in the first season, but if you made it to the second season you already know that)

I enjoyed season 1, but the characters really grew on me in season 2. I loved the entire season, I think the only flaw is that there were so many characters and pairings that the minor couples got left out a bit. But the ending for the series was really satisfying. At first I really shipped Fuse & Tee, they were the main couple mostly for the first series. But Frame & Book soon took over and were really the best couple I've seen. All the stuff they went through really developed their relationship and it was so heartbreaking at times.
I think overall this series really touches on a lot of gay issues that we go through in todays age. I think it's mostly pretty accurate, though obviously a lot more dramatic.
This is one of my favourite series now and I will definitely rewatch it again someday.

Make it worse season 2

If u enjoyed season 1 then stop right there... Because u would be disappointed of yourself for wasting time.
The story is same for Fuse n Tee.. Pull n push. Fuse realise his love for Tee but dont want to accept it cause he feels Jean didnt lie n he should be with her cause she loves him even though Fuse dont love her.. Whenever he is with Jean the evil cheater he is thinking of Tee. Just worthless...even when fuse sees she always say Tee(france) her brother from hongkong going to hotels spending dinners time lunch time with him fuse still want to belive she loves him.. Common atleast after seeing ur gf checking into hotel u dont have the guts to ask what's going on... But finally at the end his eyes are wide open n he goes back to TEE n he accepts him wholeheartedly
Yok n lokomo
Not much story about them but only thing that tears ur heart is when YOK cries n says why he is born likethis... Feels bad for him as his mother always push him to go back being a Man.. Though its shown in a comical way but its a serious matter for. Parents who dont want to understand why ur child is like this n u need to accept it..
THE RELIEF PART OF SEASON 2
FRAME N BOOK
Please watch it.. Its worth the whole series every part every emotion n everything frame does for book.. If u get to watch parts of frame n book only.. Then u have accomplished the. Mission of completing season 2

Ohm (Frame) Was The Star

I don't know why but I feel the need to write a review for this mediocre BL, but here we go.

If you want the spoiler free version, just read the following paragraph and then STOP because the rest will be spoilers:

The show is decent, I actually liked this season about as equally as the first. I say give it a go if you love FrameBook and maybe just skip the couples you're not interested in (that's what I did). I think it's worth watching for the TeeFuse and FrameBook storylines alone :)

OKAY ON TO THE SPOILERSSS

Let's start with the cons so we can get it over with:

- Half of the couples were boring or too cringe-worthy for me to sit through. Even though I like Plan as an actor, there was no way I was going to watch him flirt with his character's friend's mum who is played by the same actress who played his mum on Love By Chance. That's just TOO WEIRD OKAY. Plus his character (Wit) is supposed to be 16/17 in this season which makes the whole thing more gross. I know a lot of people like MoYok but as a couple with a storyline, it didn't grab my attention. Their whole storyline kind of felt like its only purpose for being there is for comedic value. and to fill episode runtime. There was also sort of a couple (attempted) storyline with Fuse's sister and that guy which didn't get much screen time or depth (plus, what happened to her dating Champ? lol.) Lastly - out of the minor couples at least - we had NineRodtang, which felt MEH. I was rooting for them in the first season when they had a nice development and growth starting, but they ruined it in this season. We barely saw them and it was kind of the same scene/conversation any time we did see them until their last couple scenes. Plus we never saw them confess any romantic feelings and decide to date. It was disappointing to say the least.

- The music was fine but I put it at a 6.5 because I don't really remember it having any sort of impact on me and I wouldn't even be able to tell you what the soundtrack sounded like. But hey, at least it wasn't so bad that it was memorable for the wrong reasons. I'm putting it on the con list though since it wasn't anything impressive or significant.

- The acting is a con here for quite a few of the actors in this but I'm not going to go on about this because they were all pretty young when filming this.

- This season was still kind of problematic in some ways (but not as bad as the first season since there is no romanticisation surrounding lack of consent.)

- THAT WHOLE DAMN TATTOO PLOTLINE BECAUSE LOL WHAT THAT WAS THE WORST WAY TO SLIP IN ADVERTISEMENT XD

- The plot overall wasn't the greatest, lacked development and depth in a lot of areas.

- This last one isn't a con for me but I'll talk about it here since a lot of people consider it one: how long it took for Fuse to get his shit together and break up with Jean (Gyne). Honestly, I wasn't that upset about this because I understand that Fuse wasn't in love with Jean anymore - he loved Tee. Hear me out. The only reason Fuse had stayed with Jean throughout season 1 was purely out of feelings of obligation. They had been dating for a long time and he had loved her and he probably felt like he wouldn't be able to actually be with Tee (with how LGBT+ relationships are viewed in Asia.) So it's not as simple as "oh I like Tee now so bye bye Jean". Fuse didn't want to hurt her but he also didn't want to hurt Tee and in his defense, Tee said he was really okay with it all and even encouraged him to stay with her and not break up with her just for him (in case they don't work out.) And in season 1, he often chose Tee over Jean anyway whenever he could get away with it and, yeah yeah cheating is bad blah blah, but Jean had been cheating on him first anyway. Plus he hung out with Tee and avoided Jean basically at all costs in season 1 too. Now back to this season, he had finally decided that it had been enough time and he was sure enough about how real his feelings were for Tee that he wanted to go ahead with breaking up with her. BUT then he found out that apparently she wasn't cheating that whole time and that it was just her brother (which we know it's not lol). SO NOW, he feels guilty for "wrongly misunderstanding" her and for cheating so he feels even more obligated to stay with her. He does the "right-ish" thing and ends his romance with Tee out of respect for all of their feelings. He doesn't want to string along Tee as a side piece and he doesn't want to 'unfairly' cheat on Jean. And then nothing happens between them again until he finds out the truth and breaks up with her. I think this is good. Sure, he could have done it earlier but at least this storyline wasn't used as a toxic device in his blooming relationship with Tee
(*cough* KornKnock *cough*). His feeling of obligation and hesitancy to break up with his gf for a guy he has confused feelings about is honestly more realistic than him being all "huh, I think I might possibly like my guy friend in a non-bro way so I'm just gonna dump my gf who I've been with for ages and love and have no real evidence of her cheating on me". And remember, Tee himself reassured him over and over that he was COMPLETELY OKAY with it all since they didn't even know what was going on with them. Buuuuut I'm still going to state that I don't condone cheating and dishonesty. However, they're just hormonal confused kids at high school and it could have been worse.

NOW FOR THE PROS:

- OHM'S ACTING IS THE SOLE REASON I GAVE THIS SHOW A 6.5/10 AND NOT A 4 OR 5. Seriously, Ohm is no joke. Which, in all honesty, he's the reason I finally started this show. I loved him in He's Coming To Me where he's the reason I gave it a 9.5/10 because WOW he's actually amazing. When I came to watch MIR, I wasn't expected the best performance from him since he was such a baby in this. Damn, was I proved wrong. His acting is by far the best throughout the cast. It feels natural and super engaging. I never once cringed or skipped his scenes. Any time he was sad or crying, I followed. And any time he smiled, it made me so happy. Plus, his character is *mwah* chef's kiss.

- That brings me to the next pro: FrameBook. They, for sure, held this season together. Their relationship and story was the most mature, complex, and well developed out of all the couples. It physically hurt me to watch Frame struggle with his emotions and pain while watching Book sink. Ugh, I could go on and on about Ohm's acting really, but I'll stop here (btw, I'm immensely looking forward to Bad Buddy where he's paired with Nanon ahh).

- TeeFuse is a pro for me this season, for sure. There storyline didn't frustrate me that much (ok except for when they lacked communication or idk, maybe that time when Fuse almost kissed Frame cause like oh hell nah. ) I actually think they time apart was good for them to realise how deep their feelings go. It filled my angst-depraved heart too which is always a plus. They ended up cute as heck, but they still can't compete with FrameBook.

- The ending was cuuuute. AHH.

- Book's storyline was pretty well done if you ignore the fact that we never found out how the video was leaked (since Tern claimed he didn't do it and he found out who did but never said.) And even though most people got angry at Book for pushing Frame away, I didn't because I get it. He was going through A LOT and that included the feelings of shame and disgust. Of course, he wouldn't want the person he loved most to see him that way. He didn't want to hurt him or have him be disappointed (since he obviously felt unworthy of love with his parents being idiots too) so he pushed him away, which inadvertently hurt him and he felt guilty for hurting him. So then he felt even more unworthy to see him. He just really wasn't in a good place, huh? Our poor dude. And btw, the reason he let Tern talk to him or touch his shoulder without shoving him away is because he DOESN'T love him or care about his feelings/existence. So it simply didn't matter to him. He loved Frame, so Frame's opinion mattered most to him.

AND THERE YA HAVE IT, FOLKS, THAT'S MY REVIEW.

So basically, go stan Ohm Pawat, he's amazing.

The underlying main plot is clear and understandable, however many of the subplots do not add value to the storytelling. Although I know that these subplot characters are used to tell different lessons and ideas it has taken so much from what could have been used to add depth to the series' main characters.

Comparing this to season 1, the actors have quite improved most notably Peak and Ohm. There's still the usual Thai-BL-series long pauses and just smiling at each other. Could they have added a dialogue here and made the story even better? Maybe. There's also the addition of slapstick comedy in the form of "Lily." In my opinion, this is unnecessary, but I guess the directors wanted these scenes to give the audience a break from Book's sulking.

Luckily, the final episode tied everything nicely to give us an ending we craved for.
