Unknown Woman (2017)

Honestly, I have always been a fan of long dramas, but this drama was really frustrating to me. Since the beginning to the end, I had high hopes for it, but after a while I was getting tired of it. This drama is similar to Heaven Promise, but the revenge didn't happen until much later. To be completely honest, I don't think I am going to change my opinion on this drama at all. The acting was on point and I really hated the "villain" in this drama. There were a few that I considered to be. I really enjoyed toward the middle of the drama, but then after that I felt it was dragging on and on. I don't blame the actors, but the rather the writing. I really dislike how certain things could've been solved a long time ago but then it took a few or more episodes for it to be completely solved. There were a few things I didn't like, but I'm not going to spoil it for you.  In the end, if you are looking for good revenge drama or haven't seen any. I do think you should give it a try. However, this drama will test your patience.

Surely even a drama has to be half believable? The main plot is spread over a 5 year period but the children do not age at all. If they were in their 20s OK , but a sweet 10 year old is going to change into an unruly teenager in 5 years! Very poor thinking from the script writers and producers.
Other annoying things -sometimes visitors in hospitals have to wear scrubs - sometimes just walk in unannounced. Sometimes people have to ring a doorbell for access to the house, other times they just walk in.
Do Korean men really manhandle their women so badly? Do Korean rich really trample all over poor people , beat their subordinates with impunity, hire thugs to abduct folks and throw things around? It would have been better without all those tantrums and screaming. I still watched it though - was it to see if it would get any better?

I really liked the idea, a pitiful girl taking revenge on everyone including her ex. Blamed for everything, wrongly accused, child stolen, faking death, taking revenge, birth mother and daughter... I think all the KDrama cliches were in this drama. I like the way she took revenge step by step, aiming for one goal, the revenge. However, at one point the protagonist became a bit forgiving, that I got bored sometimes.
For the plot I could have given full 10 if:
1. The kid was actually dead
2. Not the daughter
3. The father was also dead

Cast could have been better... but I'll give them a pass cause the whole story was basically harmful and negative, that it was always glaring and shouting at each other.
Music, I really liked the piano BGM during the intense scenes.

The drama basically reveals everything in the beginning, so once you watch it, you will get it.
