HiStory 1: My Hero is very sweet. I both liked & disliked the girlfriend character. I'm sympathetic to her struggles after she "dies," but as it was revealed near the end of the episode; she was self-obsessed and inconsiderate of Mai Ying Xiong's thoughts & feelings. I'm glad she found peace, though, because despite all that, she didn't deserve to have her life cut short. The love storyline between Mai Ying Xiong & Gu Si Ren is very sweet. I'm glad it was established that there were feelings on both sides BEFORE the accident, because that I read that to mean that Mai Ying Xiong fell in live with Gu Si Ren's real personality; not Lan Xi in Gu Si Ren's body, and Mai Ying Xiong can write off that week as a blip.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Menceritakan sebuah pasangan Mai Ying Xiong (pria) dan Lan Xi (wanita) yang sudah berpacaran lama, kemudian Lan Xi meninggal karena sebuah incident bertepatan dengan kematian pria culun, lemah, dan kuper bernama Gu Shi Ren. Saat meninggal arwah Lan Xi tersebut kemudian masuk ke dalam tubuh pria culun Gu Shi Ren tersebut ; kemudian muncul malaikat yang mengatakan bahwa Lan Xi bisa kembali hidup tetapi dengan syarat Mai Ying Xiong harus mencintai dan mengingat dirinya ; kesulitan terjadi karena Lan Xi harus berkomunikasi dengan Mai Ying Xiong menggunakan tubuh laki-laki culun bernama Gu Shi Ren dengan tambahan syarat tidak boleh mengatakan "nama Lan Xi" atau secara gamblang mengatakan hal-hal yang mengarah padanya, caranya adalah Mai Ying Xiong harus mengingatnya secara tidak sengaja melalui perbuatan-perbuatan. Namun kenyataannya Mai Ying Xiong sudah move-on dan malah mulai menyukai pria culun yang dikendalikan Lan Xi, kagetnya Lan Xi menemukan dokumen-dokumen yang menjelaskan hubungan antara pria culun Gu Shi Ren dengan Mai Ying Xiong yang membuatnya tau alasan tuhan mengapa dia mencabut nyawanya dan membuatnya untuk menggerakan tubuh Gu Shi Ren. Ceritanya secara sinopsis menurutku agak kurang bisa dimengerti ya ; tapi jika sudah menontonnya menurutku detail film ini cukup bisa dimengerti, tidak membosankan dan cukup menghibur, Aron Lai juga bagus dalam memerankan karakternya sebagai Mai Ying Xiong dan Gu Shi Ren juga sangat baik dalam memerankan bentuk karakter Lan Xi. Hal yang menarik dari series ini adalah keadaan dimana sang tokoh mulai mendekati seorang pria yang bernama Mai Ying Xiong yang diceritakan merupakan pria straight - bL seperti ini adalah bL dengan cerita paling menarik menurut saya dan ini sangat berkesan. It was a fun short series roughly 1 hour total i didn't have to spend much time but the story line was super fun. Me being me finished it in one sitting. And it didn't feel like a waste of time at all.The acting was also not that bad. It was a good production. For such a low price of shooting this a fine piece of art.

Okay, so this is the first episode from the History series and I wanted to watch all of them so I gave this a try. It wasn't bad, but it left a lot to be desired. I think the story had a lot of potential, but because of the limited time they had to show the story and because one of the male leads was a little too wooden from me it fell flat in some ways. I think it was pretty funny and I was intrigued so definitely give it a watch, but I just think it could have been great given enough time and a little bit better acting from the taller male lead.*****Spoilers*****
The guy who has a girl inside of him was really great at acting and his partner was hella fine. Damn, he was good looking. There were however plenty scenes that he was staring off that I felt like he could have played better. Perhaps, he just need more experience with acting...That wouldn't have bothered me much except for the fact that the script had a major flaw. The major flaw was that the guy whose body the girl is inhabiting (yeah that probably makes no sense unless you watch the show) has barely any scenes with his partner. It felt like this story was more about the doomed relationship between a girl and guy. You feel bad about the girl but you watch a BL to see the BL characters fall in love and you do get snippets in the episode, but it is minimal compared to the girl who is in a male body and her boyfriend. The beginning of the episode is a bit hard to get into because of editing choices which could have been handled a little better. Overall, I enjoyed this episode but it has some aspects to it that left me feeling bereft.

The series starts off a little cheesy however in a good way. I would not watch this if you are under the age of 13 because it does show something that is considered “sexual”. It may just be me when it comes to awkward moments, I just get second-hand embarrassment easily and it has those moments. There are 4 episodes that are about 20 minutes long. One of my favorite things is when Lan Xi possess Gu Si Ren, the thoughts are in Lan Xi’s voice. It is really humorous to watch. This series can make you open eyes to those you fall in love with. It has a good lesson to anyone about love. Would you watch again? Maybe, if I was bored and wanted to watch something. Esta resenha foi útil para você?
There are both funny and sad moments that come from the girl forgetting that she is a boy now and not supposed to be the person she thinks she is.
I was very satisfied with the ending, but wish they had filmed it to be a little more immediately clear what was happening.

My first History show was actually History 3 Trapped. I loved it so much that I decided to see how the other ones were. This does contain spoilers. I really didn't like the female character who dominates the story until about the last 3 minutes. I wish they would have left that part of the story and moved away from her being in the man's body (and her just going away to the afterlife or something). I would have preferred if we could have seen the two guys relationship instead of the weird caricature of a girl in a dudes body. I wanted more of the actual love story and less having to deal with her character. For being a bl the flashbacks were mostly her and I swear their kiss laster longer than the actual bl characters. I just think she should have gone poof a little earlier so we could actually see SOME of the guys actual relationship.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Interesting Study of Gender Roles
As others have noted, this drama is a bit confusing. At first I though putting a girl in a man's body was a way to get around any boys love hangups the audience or the actors may have had. In fact, when we get to the big kissing moment at the end, there's a cut from the two guys to the girl ghost who takes over the boy's body. But we do get a satisfying resolution in the end. Upon second viewing, there's a lot of subtext that comes to the surface about gender roles. One of the commonly noted benefits of close male friendships is guys are less inhibited about talking about their true feelings, as when Mai Ying Xiong reveals to Gu Si Ren what he really feels about his girlfriend, Lan Xi. The main problem with the plot is we're never quite sure who Gu Si Ren is supposed to be, himself in his previous life (having a man crush on Mai Ying Xiong) or the girlfriend as a ghost, inhabiting his body. The limbo scenes in heaven (?) are just time wasted. I would rather have spent more time with the man characters. But I give this drama high marks for the main two male leads who really sell the attraction of their characters. The mystery of the notebook is a nice touch.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
I have been wanting to watch the History series for a while so I thought today, WHY NOT! I thought this story was interesting because it was boy love but not because one of the boys was actually a girl for most of the series. It was sweet and a fun story, a little cliché but I didn't mind.
The acting was good too. It had a small cast of 4 people so I thought as an audience, you really connected with the cast. Yes the acting was a little corny at times but not cringey corny, just cute. I thought the main couple had a lot of chemistry which made it fun too.
The music, I don't remember a lot about which is why I gave it a low score. Since I don't remember the music, it probably didn't lend itself to impact the story all that much.
I would definitely watch this again and I am definitely going to check out the rest of the History series and maybe some more BL down the line. I thought this was a short and sweet series that didn't disappoint.

It's honestly underrated in my opinion, and I would love a more detailed series about Si Ren's relationship with Hero~
