I really liked the idea of one girl being in a school full of boys.
(I mean what girl doesn't? ^.^) Sometimes it was cute and sometimes it was a little dramatic (ok, maybe sometimes a little too dramatic). The music was catchy, the acting was great and the boys were cute. This drama has a special atmosphere. You know, when you watch those (american) movies where the lead character dramatically gives a Speech/Explanation in front of an audience/other lead character towards the end and the audience so moved by his/her words that they all cheer/kiss or whatever. This kind of atmosphere leads you through all 9 episodes. Not much romance but a lot of "fighting"-attitude, so if you don't mind a little cheesiness on the side, you should give this a try. I did and I didnt regret it.

Why you should watch this?
It's a great stress reliever and good way to spend your time while you wait for the next episode of another drama. If you want a light drama to lift some weight off your chest after a heavier one, this is absolutely it. The drama itself is only 9 episodes and pretty well paced out, so don't ever get the feeling that it's going too fast or too complicated. The length is great, too- not too long, just enough for the material in the episode. The friendship theme is adorable (as always) and makes you go 'awww' many times.
I like Takei Emi, so watching her character not much of a problem, except when she was pretty mean to her well-meaning grandfather (who rocked!) sometimes. In my strict Asian household, that wouldn't fly for a minute. The acting of the boys were pretty meh, as most of them were supporting characters anyway. I've watched Kaku Kento before, and his character was pretty awesome, so no problems there.
Why shouldn't you watch this?
MASSIVE second male lead syndrome. Like, REALLY massive. Most of the time, I didn't understand why she would go for the First Male Lead over the Second Male Lead, when he was clearly there for her more than the other guy. At one point, I even contemplated stopping the drama because it kept getting worse and worse as the show went on. Thankfully, the romance bit is very light and infrequent compared to the other themes.
Overall: Though my individual ratings are pretty average, my overall impression is largely positive. A good drama to get out of your slump- but just dont expect anything more than that.

The story's the normal high school plot. Cast is good and the music's less but compensating.
For me it is a one time watch. It makes you happy and realize that you can't just sit back and miss the awesome school life because your friends and ambitions make you realize what you want to pursue in future :)
Overall, its a drama of hope, goodness, faith, dreams, aspirations, learning and never backing down. A light drama and easy to finish.

The character building was wonderful as she realizes that she wants to be true to herself and be a female laborer. Her being at a nearly all male school adds the laughs, but it's more heartwarming than anything else. While this hit a sweet spot with me because I miss the days that I spent in machine shops building robots, there wasn't much technical info to absorb.

The plot from Asuko March reminded me of a harem manga/ anime.
A girl (Takei Emi) enters an all-boys technical high school. Even though there were the designated male lead and the secondary male characters, I felt like Takei could have been paired up with any guy at her school and it would have made some sort of sense.
In terms of plot, the drama is quite generic and predictable. Some unexpected twists and turns would have been appreciated.
ACTING/CAST-
Takei Emi, who played the main character, is quite pretty. But her acting seems to be a bit lacking (flat) but I will forgive her since she is just a newbie at acting.
The male lead wasn't my cup of tea. Yes, he was charming and handsome but I wasn't interested. So by the end of the drama, I was a bit disgruntled that Kaku Kento (the secondary male) wasn't going to get much love, as I found him more engaging and fun. I was seriously rooting for his character throughout the entire drama. Sigh.
Overall, an okay drama. It is quite watchable but it is nothing brilliant or groundbreaking either.

While I don't know that this drama will leave a lasting impression on me, I enjoyed watching it. It's sweet and funny and tender hearted with a wonderful set of characters, and I even ended up enjoying the setting. But while I think the leads were well suited for each other, and I don't have a problem with the pairing at all, my second lead feels were very, very strong. I don't know if that's because I wanted him and the lead together, or I just wanted to see him find someone too, but that boy was just too cute for his own good, and I honestly could watch an entire drama just about him finding a girl of his own.
My only complaint is that the romance is not fully resolved at the end, and I hate unresolved romance. Like a lot. Still, I think it's worth watching.

This all in all was a cute drama to me. Not as much romance as I hoped for but the friendship the drama portrayed made it sweet.
Loved the cast, though the main girl got on my nerves at times. I really loved most of the guy students, not because of their looks but they played that yankee turned friendly character type well. Oh and the jiichan in this drama was just too cute!
Not sure if there was more music but the only one that was constantly played was a song by Funky Monkey Babys and I always love their music, it fit well with the drama and the scenes it played it.
Overall, it's a cute drama. there are some parts where you just get annoyed but it's expected, and even though the ending wasn't to my liking, i still loved the drama as a whole.
oh and may i add, i have never cheered for so many guys to get with the main girl. And the main guy wasn't even one of them! I never cheer for the second man, but i did and then i wanted the girl to get with the other guys too! ;~~;

The description is misleading in regards of the romance. Eventhough they is some romance but the key word is 'SOME'. It is attempted to discuss the main characters feelings towards each other but the other parts of the drama totally over shadow it and in truth it is not even concluded upon so even more pointless to have described it as a romance.
Overall this drama is best decribed as a slice of life in relation to how the female character copes with attending a school with only 3 female students. As well as finding your calling in life

Inspirational message
certainly set in different background from usual school drama which I find interesting〜 there is room for some social class comment although of course a romanticised view of technical schools as this is fiction〜as to the girl in boys school trope、this has a different more original feel than similar dramas: of course heroine is too good to be true as we would all like to be but this is fiction!and then also a love triangle but it feels like this was put in as part of the formula and is not a main focus〜but interesting plot elements showing hard background stories of some students 〜such as one involving single parent、 another financially struggling〜 really add interest and are well developed though finally it is obviously intended as inspirational message for teenagers rather than realistic 〜still no boring part and I liked this more as I watch it really good show so 10 / 10Esta resenha foi útil para você?

'Asuko March!' is the story of Nao: Because of a silly mistake, she has to enrol in an almost all-boy technical school. First, she is unhappy with both her classmates and technical training she gets there. However, she gradually changes.Overall, it's a light, and heartwarming drama. To me, the best thing is its main theme: Problems a girl might experience in such an unfamiliar territory. And surely, it's nice to see Nao overcome them one by one with the support of her male classmates. But I have a 'problem' kind of related to character development:
As far as school and friends is concerned, we witness Nao's process of maturation, such that her final choices are massively different from the initial ones (kind of revolution!). However, regarding her romantic life, she shows no important change. In the beginning, she immediately chooses a guy for all the superficial reasons, and then, while, during her time in the school, many things happen that suggest that she should go for another guy, she sticks to her first choice to the very end. And it's not clear why and for what reason. In reality, this kind of things (bad and unreasonable decisions) can happen, but the least the drama could've done was to make it clear why Nao chooses that guy. Regarding her other decisions (turning down the offer by the other school and making friends with the her classmate) the drama does a good job in showing Nao's motivations and reasons, but about her romantic decision, the drama falls short. And in any case, Nao's romantic decision is disappointing: We want to see Nao learn and choose all good things.
