Another interesting perspective on today's use of social media in our everyday lives. While keeping up the intensity of the situation and the mystery behind it this movie does a good job of showing just what online comments look like from an outside perspective and just how dangerous it is to think you can hide behind a screen without realising that once you've said or done something, there's no going back.

The acting was good and the movie was good but when you watch this movie, you already get the message it's trying to put forward so the rewatch value is lacking.

This is a great watch, do not miss it!

The story looks really simple on the surface, but there is so much underneath it. This movie is just much more than showing what social media is and does. But also how people respond do is, there is a great psychological part to this movie.
The story is quite unique, there are a few movies like this, but this is a real thriller that will let you think abbout the effects of social media and how huge the internet is.
The actors did a marvelous job, and they really gave it all. I really could feel with them, and I felt that the emotions were very raw, I liked it!
The music was perfectly chosen, dark and loud.
I would rewatch this movie, because this one has more than meets the eye.

Watch this if you like psychological movies that handle a current topic.
Skip this if you are looking for romance.

Even though some of you might say that this movie's plot is a little bit "predictable", I still find it innovative.
This review might and will contain spoilers, so don't read it if you didn't watch the movie yet.

The plot might sound and look simple, but it has a huge psychological depth.
Some kids, who is obsessed with social networks and virtual life more than their real one, decide to punish a rude girl who post malicious comments about a soldier's death.
They gather up to film this girl being punished. But when they enter her apartment, they discover that the girl has taken her life.
But something smells fishy. It doesn't look like a suicide. Someone murdered this girl and they want to find out who's this psycho.
The plot sounds like some cheap thriller movie, with young wannabe detectives who are chasing a pretty bad killer.
Nope, the director fooled you right in the beginning.
The main characters are the real murders. They played with this girl's mind, making her feel uneasy and scared.
Yet, no one of them want to admit that this girl killed herself because of their words.
Can some nasty comments push someone to commit suicide?
Are words more dangerous than weapons?
Yes, they are.
This movie shows how easily oppressors become victims and victims become nasty fellows.
Young Min is a real shining character. He admitted his wrongs, he was the first one who wanted to target this ""bad girl""", the first one who suggested that maybe this girl was killed by someone and also the first one who openly admitted that the killer was him.
Actually, all of them took part in it.
The internet is a nasty beast. If you keep feeding it, it will grow fatter and hungrier.
Overall, this movie told a good lesson.
The same lesson that all of us will soon forget after one hour.
A must watch.

Tackles cyberbullying and social media culture through an unsolved mystery

I'm challenging you to solve the mystery on this movie because it ended up without answers. I have quite an expectation when I watched this because the plot is something interesting, I'm just not sure if my expectations were too high or if the movie didn't really give justice to it or what.

The casts acted so great but the story became more of a confusion to me than curiosity of what's gonna happen next. I just watched along hoping that maybe the end will give me answers but unfortunately, I had more questions. For one, I'm not really familiar about social media culture of Koreans. Second, plot wise I had lots of confusions but the message is there, cyber bullying can be dangerous specially when it meets reality and became a real life bullying. Words can be a knife so we have to be responsible about our words, specially in the internet where people can become who they are not.

At least I can say this is worth a watch if you want mystery films.

Plot twist, or not

I liked this movie okay enough but as another user mentioned you really do just watch a bunch of dudes try and solve the murder of some girl they just bullied online.

One thing I don't get though is the users in defense of the Becca, she seemed like a piece of trash. The main characters were pieces of trash, everyone in this movie just sucks and you root for them at the beginning kinda because she was also flaming people online but it quickly just ramps up to caricature tier characterization and while it keeps you engaged it's not anything impactful. I watched the movie and didn't expect that ending so I was surprised and was even like "ouu" for a minute but after the movie ended I didn't care anymore.

Anyone with common sense has long been aware the internet is full of narcissistic terrible people and ruled by mob mentality. Witch hunts are commonplace and innocent people are doxxed for stupid reasons.

I feel like even if high-school self watched this when it first came out I'd still be unimpressed. It's like me pointing at some universal common fact and going "isn't this so true?" yes. It is. We get it, moving on
