Adeus, Solo (2006)

Same amazing male lead (Chun Jung Myung), both are more realistic than most dramas although Goodbye solo is deeper and more serious.

5. Both left me taking away life lessons after it ended.

Another strong, character driven drama. Dramas like this touch your heart and move your soul. The people in them could be you, your friend, your family member. Virtually devoid of the cliches that Kdrama is famous for, this is an adult drama for adults who have lived life and its hardships and survived. The acting and writing are spot on. It is relatable, heart warming, lovely. If you give it a chance, you might love it too.

They have the same writer, are both realistic life based dramas that lack a plot, but also have interesting complex characters/awesome ensemble cast that will keep yu engaged and glued to the screen. Also the main OTP's relationship is established unusually very early on while breaking up in the middle due to their insecurities/selfishness. They both had great pacing which makes them easily rewatchable. I feel like both are very underrated and would be appreciated by seasoned Kdrama watchers.

Both dramas are written by the great Noh Hee Kyung. They also give off the same melancholy feel.
