This movie is one hall of a scary movie. The plot and acting was so great. Almost everyone made a sacrifice just so the other person can survive. Those scenes were really heart touching and heartbreaking. The last scene where the pregnant woman and the kid were passing through a tunnal was ?. The little kid was singing and damn i broke down into tears. Even now that im dropping my review, im near tears.
This movie is 10/10. REALLY GREAT!!

Not scary and made me cry :<
Nice zombies, but the plot was lacking and the ML and a few others were REALLY irritating top watch the ENTIRE length of the movie. Expected more zombies, and as others have pointed out tehy could go from not being able to open doors to holding onto the train and creating a rope pile to climb.Of course a good lead we were enjoying dies off (the pregnant womans husband) and the movie especially near the end keeps getting more sad so I was just crying. The ML cant even say decent things to his daughter at the end.
This was not horror, and barely scary I am suprised its hyped as one of the greatest zombie movies. Its not terrible, i wouldnt call it bad. It was a rough start to our horror movie nights we're hosting though in our discord, so watch with tissues in hand.

Exceptional Horror Flick That Runs Deep!
I’ll be honest. I’m not a fan of zombie movies. George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” is still a classic, but even that movie didn’t exactly thrill me. To me, zombies tend to be boring. The slow, gaited walk—despite the overwhelming numbers—just made them less imposing than they should be.“Train to Busan” not only gives us an absolute thrill ride, but it also does what Korean filmmaking has been so good at over the years; it gives us food for thought and for people to decide what’s really important. Who else could put such a message, and do it effectively, than the Koreans? In short, this is the first zombie movie that I’ve seen that has heart and depth.
I will say that this is the best zombie movie I’ve ever seen. The zombies don’t do the stupid walk in this film. They run. They chase in a relentless frenzy that begs the viewer to ask, “how in the world did they film that?!”
Seok Woo (wonderfully played by Gong Yoo) is a workaholic father who has little time for his daughter, who begs him to take her to Busan to see her mother. Seok Woo is a man so disconnected from his daughter, Soo Ahn, that he doesn’t realize that he’s bought her a birthday gift that she already has. He finally agrees to take her.
In the meantime, a massive outbreak of “infected” people begin to take over, and of course, it only takes one as an infected woman jumps aboard the train just as it’s leaving the station. What transpires after this is an absolutely incredible survivor movie and what becomes of human nature when lives are on the line. There are those who believe in doing right by people, and there are others who believe that survival by any means necessary is justified. Interestingly enough, Seok Woo starts off as a man who believes that saving himself and his daughter is all that matters, leaving one man to rebuke him harshly for his selfish behavior.
Once the pursuit is underway, you have a good idea of who is most likely to survive, but there are still questions regarding the other characters and whether or not they will make it. And on a deeper level, what will these people do in their last moments, which brings us some very compelling moments.
On the one hand, this is a survivor movie worthy of “Titanic” or “The Poseidon Adventure” or “The Towering Inferno.” And on the other hand, it also begs the viewer to ask questions that could easily be used in a university philosophy class.
Performances are stellar across the board, but Kim Soo An really impressed me as Seok Woo’s daughter. The last few minutes of the film are heartbreaking and heart wrenching.
There isn't much music in the film, which adds to the effect, but when it kicks in, you know that you-know-what is about to hit the fan!
There really isn’t an element of this film that I can say came up short. From story to characters, to cinematography, this movie excels in every category. I see why this film is already considered a classic, and it’s the only zombie movie that I plan to add to my collection!

A Heart-Pounding and Emotionally Resonant Zombie Thriller!
"Train to Busan" is an incredibly gripping and intense experience from start to finish. As a viewer, I found myself fully immersed in the chaos and terror that unfolded on that speeding train. The film's combination of heart-pounding action and emotional depth made for an unforgettable journey. I couldn't help but feel deeply connected to the characters, rooting for their survival and empathizing with their struggles. The relentless tension and surprising twists kept me on the edge of my seat throughout, and the exceptional performances only added to the film's impact. "Train to Busan" is a must-watch for anyone seeking a thrilling and emotionally resonant zombie apocalypse adventure.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Korean masterpiece
No surprise...another Korean masterpiece in the world of cinema.I don't even want to classify this as a typical zombie film as it does not do it justice with the stereotypes that come with such films.
The acting was absolutely superb...every single actor had me invested in their stories and emotions. Character development in a zombie film is almost non-existent but somehow this film is able to implement it in such a flawless manner.
This is definitely a film anyone would enjoy watching.

Cinematography is great. But where's the story?
I watched it for its great popularity. It was enjoyable, fine. But where's the story? There was some characters and some emotions that's it. No complexity and depth for the story of a great movie. There should have been more to it, more details to the world they are in and the aftermath that requires a part two. But I heard part two has nothing to do with this movie. That's disappointing. Otherwise, I love GongYo, he's so handsome ?I can also say casting was good, all the actors acted quite well which gave the effect of a Hollywood movie or better than that, with great visuals and cinematography but that's it.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Extra level from de start 2 finish !! A NON-STOP Ride
♡-SYNOPSIS-♡ A group of people are travelling to Busan in a train. So are zombies. It is incredible how quickly dis movie gets u 2care abt its characters. Like most Korean blockbusters, de production cant resist showing off its visual and special effects clout, resulting in a bombastic stunt toward de end dat’s incongruous wid de film’s lean, gritty style. Likewise, de screenplay piles on de hysteria & de schmaltz in de last leg & de hitherto restrained cast have no choice but 2 dial up performances 2 a borderline farcical level.
♡-VERDICT-♡ Train 2 Busan tugged on my heartstrings whether it be from de grisly-chaotic violence & terror 2de emotional drama dat ensues throughout. The film blends different genres while still maintaining its horror identity & left me on-edge every single frame that'll sure be an experience for all who are bold to endure it.
P.S De pregnant lady's husband was such a REAL HUMAN BEING & A REAL HERO

Suspenseful and intense horror film
This is the most suspenseful, intense movie that I have watched. It is August 2021, and I finally got around to watching this movie, five years after the release. The K-movie production staff, crew and cast outdid themselves. All of Korea must have worked as extras. The last seven minutes had me tearing up.The acting by the main cast was very good, and the Zombie extras must have had a lot of fun playing the ghouls. Sadly, only two of the train passengers survived. The director is a visionary, bringing the screenwriter's mental thoughts on paper to virtual life.
The virus that began in a lab seems to have an eerie message of a deadly virus that is unleashed on mankind.
It is a rollercoaster train ride from the time, the first zombie appears at the train station.

Best
If you love thrillers and zombie flicks, then you are in for a ride with this one. This film has it all: the hero arc, character development, insane action, relentless tension, drama, tear jerk, comedy, special effects, great cinematography and most of all excellent pace! Well done to the Korean cinema. Excellent film. Me and Korean cinema have always had a good relationship, I tend to enjoy their works and this right here is their coup de grace.Full of fantastic characters, great writing and several scenes that need to be seen to be believed Train To Busan shows how fresh the zombie sub genre can be in the right hands.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
