I will start with the pros
First of all the I really enjoyed how the film was directed. It makes you want to go to all the places the characters visited because of the cozy feel they bring. So if you like cute cafés, vintage furniture and all those fairytale-like places, you'd know what I mean.
I think Han Hyo Joo is the best choice to play the character of Yi Soo. Her acting perfectly portrayed the girl, who is kind with everyone, a little naive, confused with her own feelings but still - the definition of a "good person".
Maybe it's because of me, but I found the movie really emotional. It makes you feel bad for the faceless Woo Jin who has nobody beside him and can't have a normal life. Even the woman he loves can't recognize him on the street. That was kind of off too because we can't get to see some nice chemisty between Hyo Joo and a costar but I personally really liked her with Park Seo Joon and I'm rooting for another project with the both.
Although I really enojeyd the movie, I can't vote with a straight 10 because the storyline is lacking. Except for the man changing his looks, there is nothing special about it. He falls in love, she falls in love but is later confused. However, they have their happy ending and everything is nice. It wasn't properly explained the reason behind Woo Jin's transformations.
In summary, if you're looking for a movie to spend the night with, this one is a great choice and I think everyone would like it. I hope my first ever review was helpful and I apologise if there were too many English mistakes. :D

Finally, get a hand in this movie. Really hard to find, usually when I search for The Beauty Inside, the majority it’s all linked to the drama, not the movie. What intrigues me to watch this movie, of course the summary. What would you do if you woke up with a new face every day? This happens to Woo Jin (WJ), a man who designs furniture, who has lived with this condition since his 16th birthday. WJ changes his body everyday to an elderly man, a little boy, a chubby woman, a foreigner, etc… The only people that know of his illness are his mother and his best friend, Sang Baek.
One day, WJ meets Yi Soo (YS), a girl who works for a furniture store and instantly falls in love with her. Since his physical identity changes frequently, he continues to visit her daily, acting as a customer that she has never seen before. When the perfect day with the ‘perfect face’ comes, WJ finally musters up the courage to talk to her and ask her out on a date. WJ knowing that his face will change once he falls asleep, attempts to stay awake for as long as he can. WJ managed to stay awake for three consecutive days and made YS fall in love with him. However, at the end of the 3rd day, WJ can no longer fight sleep, he passes out and wakes up with a new face. What will happen to WJ & YS story? Will WJ tell YS about his condition? What will Yi Soo think?
What’s best about this movie, besides the interesting plot, is the realistic portrayal of what would happen if we were as YS & WJ. I can put myself in their shoes…
What I don't too like is the stupid decision YS made in the end.
That’s overall the story… Overall this one unique movie you can check it out…
Below I'll write a little bit SPOILER. So read it at your own risk!!!
==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================
For you who want to know… Yes, WJ finally tell YS about his condition & they started dating. YS tried her best to overcome WJ's condition, but eventually it all came at the cost of YS mental health. You imagine your man changing his whole body into someone new. At first maybe it’s gonna be fun, but later you'll have trust issues & everything else… Like what YS experienced, it’s quite realistic, I can imagine myself in YS’s shoes.
After YS starts to have mental problems, WJ consult his mom & find out that it turns out his dad also had the same condition with WJ, and it concluded his condition is genetic. WJ’s mom tell him YS will be OK as soon she separated from WJ, cause that’s turned out happen to herself & WJ’s dad. Hearing his mom's experience, WJ decided to leave YS.
What would you do if you were YS or WJ? If I were WJ, I'd also make the same decision with WJ. And if I were YS I’d also gonna leave WJ, especially cause WJ first already left me.

I would give this a zero...
I find it disgusting how he changes ages. One day he can wake up as a child and the next an older man. That would imply that she is also loving the child. That is pedophilic. Others would disagree, but I actually find it creepy how he is changing ages. In no way is this relationship realistic, and although there are fantasy love stories, they are in some ways based in reality. This is not the case, he is changing ages. Others might say "his soul is that of a man her age" he is still that one day a child. In the end, I found it disturbing, and a lot of sensible people would agree with that.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
That being said, The Beauty Inside raises way more interesting questions (like the value of having your own physical appearance and how we identify as "ourselves" using our face, how people can treat us differently depending on what we look like, etc...) but it doesn't really treat them. I would have liked going a little deeper with the concept, but the movie really focuses on the "love" part. Of course, the format has its limits (it's already 2 hours long) and not all subjects can be treated in just one movie, but it was a little frustrating in my opinion.
The cast for Woo Jin did a very good job at portraying a consistent character, it was easy to believe that all these faces are the same person.
I am not a huge fan of Han Hyo Joo but I thought she did a good job with her character, especially knowing that the struggle she goes through cannot be something relatable and she must have relied on her imagination a lot to understand and portray Yi Soo's feelings.
The movie is certainly an interesting watch with a lovely and moving story, that can make you laugh, tear up and think :)

The storyline is so good and depicted smoothly
First I had no expectations then as time passed away, the movie got better. It was emotional at some points where I cried too. The actors had done pretty well job portraying the characters especially Woo Jin. The actress is my personal favourite and I liked her here too. It wasn't confusing anytime like I'd first thought by reading the synopsis. Was just accepting a cure to this at the end of the story but the twist was good if not best. A movie we can watch with family. Will definitely re-watch it after sometime.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Heartwarming but...
I felt like the first half was a lot better — it was a lot of the main leads getting to trust each other, one of them being so used to be alone and the other thrown into a situation that just made no logical sense. Their dynamic was really cute and interesting, and this did stay balanced throughout the entire movie; I really loved that there were no stupid misunderstandings and that any issues they had with each other were discussed. I loved the acting for all the Woo-jins, and the cinematography was unique and worked really well. With that being said, however, the ending just felt like a cop-out; it felt like it was very much created for the hopeless romantic, the one who believes that love triumphs above all. But for a movie I loved for its practicality, it was disappointing. All those times the movie brought up things that made me go "Whoa, I hadn't thought about that" and suddenly it was like they couldn't think of an answer and decided to just drop the subject altogether.

Story:
This story is so unique and beautiful, I've never seen anything so creative. In the beginning, being in a relationship with someone that has a different face and body everyday sounds a little bit weird and also a little bit fun, but as the story and their relationship progresses you can really see the real struggles that these two have to face. Yi-soo's inner battle over this relationship is conveyed really well and you can really experience her pain with her over the fact that she will never be able to remember her lover's face. This story breaks down all the problems that come with having a relationship, but shows that love can conquer all and that it's not what's on the outside that matters but what's on the inside that really counts which is a lesson well taught in this movie. The only thing I disliked about the plot is the fact that Yi-soo's "sickness" that she gets isn't really explained all that well and I felt a bit confused as to why she was experiencing some symptoms. Another part of the story that I didn't understand that well is Woo Jin's Parents' Story, essentially this ties in with Yi-soo's condition so that whole part was just a little fuzzy for me and lacked the clarification I needed to fully understand Woo Jin's condition, but other than that everything else is explained and conveyed really well.
Acting/Cast:
I gave this a 10 mainly because Han Hyo-Joo does such an amazing job as the lead female. It's already hard as it is to make an on screen relationship look believable, but to do so with 20+ co-stars is amazing. Not only did she have to get used to working with practically different co-stars in each scene, but to also act in-love with each and every one of them no matter their age, gender or looks...I really tip my hat off to her. Not only was her acting amazing, but it was also quite fun to see famous actors here and there as well.
Music:
I loved the music, it really fitted well with the theme and cinematography of the movie, it just gives this movie the extra bump that makes it perfect. I liked the fact that they went with a more classical, acoustic feel to the music, it really ties everything together and makes you feel at ease while watching the movie.
Cinematography:
I just had to add this one in here. I was very impressed with how the movie was filmed. The scenes and shots were beautiful, the tones that they used were soft and very fitting and overall it was just very professionally and beautifully made.
I definitely recommend this to everyone, it's really a film that many types of people would enjoy and also makes you reflect a little bit on life and love and teaches you an important lesson in between.

There is also quite a lot of famous actors in this film -
Lee Dong wook, Park Shin hye, Seo Kang joon, Park Seo joon, Kim joo hyuk, Kim Hee won, Lee Hyun woo, Kim Sang ho... etc! I was quite surprised to see that many famous actors for such a short period of time in this film, i was quite impressed.
They all played the same character really well.
I love the message of this film, that love comes from the inside of others than the outside.
Power of love!
If you're looking for a feels-good cute movie i recommend this film to you!

Really beautiful
I found it really heartwarming. Could not help picturing myself in the shoes of the FL. What I would do if my partner was going through the same. The struggle was shown the best way possible. The background of woodwork was extremely pleasing to me. It had some beautiful shots too. Especially the snowing scene.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
