Easily the best thai BL out there
Bad Buddy was my first Thai BL after years of break amd boy, was it amazing. It makes you genuinely laugh. It's funny and witty and sometimes downright silly.
At the same time, it manages to have more serioues notes and balances it quite well.
The script is wonderful (though I personally think the reason why their parents hate each other fell a bit flat). Love how they really don't care about really old and classy BL tropes and just destroy them basically. We love that!
OhmNanon als leads are a delight. It's fun to watch them in every scene, may it be a funny or a more serious one. They have amazing chemistry, they make you scream "I want what they have!" at 4 AM because you bingewatched into the night.
Some of the side characters acting felt a bit awkward here and there, but nothing too bad. Loved the girls! Yey for GL!
This is THE drama I would recommend to all of my friends, even those that have never watched any thai BL. It's that bitch. 'Nuff said.

6.5 as a BL drama, 8.0 as a cooking show
So, I started watching UMWA because I wanted to watch Between Us and thought I should watch UMWA first. I definitely recommend doing so, btw.UMWA's reincarnation plot is interesting, different for sure. The flashbacks to the past are well incoporated, you notice the difference. Maybe that's (also) the reason though, why especially the first half feels so dragged out. It's a long drama, most probably because it it tells us the story of 2 pairs. Simultaenously, it felt too long. I got bored often times. The second half had better pacing but that's because the first half built everything up.
The little angst at the end felt like it cane out of nowhere. I feel like the problem of "Do we really like each other for each other or because of KornIn?" Should have been raised way earlier and dealt with differently.
Besides that, the leads have really cute moments together, besides that I feel like theres not much substance to their pairing. Pharm cooks a lot, I appreciate learning about Thai dessert. And Dean...swims....occasionally....I believe.... 'cause we never see the guy actually training.
Acting wise, I felt like Fluke had three major emotions on his face the first half: *shocked/doesnt know what to say*
*cries*
*smile*
He gets way better in the second half. Ohm's face is working hard, but not on emotions.
I think acting wise I preferred KornIn's leads.
WinTeam is fun, but seems random almost if you don't know they get a whole show besides them.
What the script does really well though is the friendship between Pharm, Team and Manow (Queen!). Very fun to watch.
So overall, it's still a legendary thai BL, you notice how it's a bit older. The style often reminds me of Love Sick/Love by Chance. I think it's enjoyable enough.

Lovely Taiwanese drama
The leads' chemistry is on fire, their cute moments makes you wanna scream at God and the world "When is it my turn?!" and then fall in despair because the answer is: probably never. The plot sounds rather unprofessional: a Doctor and his patient? Surprisingly though, given all the other circumstances I didn't mind as much. Their progress is rather slow though if you look at the number of episodes but it certainly didn't feel like it. It's enjoyable to watch, the plot a bit on the heavier side with dealing with trauma.
You will be rewarded though by their cuteness. It's worth it.
Plotwise my biggest problem is how they dealt with Xin'an's father. What was the point of incorporating his disapproval (and physical abuse) if it's resolved by him just staying silent for 10 minutes? That was not done well, unfortunately.
Regardless, a lovely watch, I would recommend to my friends!

Iconic but certainly not for its plot
Cutie Pie's production value is high, the chemistry is sizzling and love the political messages here and there. But what is that plot? The novel's plot is kinda dumb, but the series? Straight up nonsensical. I definitely watched for everything but the plot.I do appreciate Nunew singing the OST and not sounding terrible! Not a given in thai bl iykyk
Overall a fun watch regardless, could have been far better if they would have stuck a bit more to the whole "Kuea is also a baddie" plot and included more insights on Lian's feelings and thoughts (they are dumb in both versions though, no saving possible either way).
Bonus point for the added Angst towards the end, the Novel was a bit too angstless and uneventful for my taste. Lian turning while crying at being rejected hit hard and I'd like to thank everyone, especially Zee for it.
That being said, I am looking forward to Cutie Pie 2 You!

Finished with a "meh" but still got hooked
Hear me out. I know this makes no sense, but when I finished the series I was like "That was whack. Could have done so much better at many points." But I kept thinking about the characters and even more the chemistry the actors have that in the end I was hooked up on the material. Completely irrational, but I would rewatch the hell out of this show, pick out everything I hated, and still have a good time. The plot is the getting together. For PhayuRain it's not that eventful, sometimes even borderline silly/dumb. Honestly, reads like a fanfiction. The leads have crazy chemistry, though, truly saving their story and my sanity.
PrapaiSky have a far heavier plotline that takes good writing and good acting to do properly. While I also adore the leads, I do believe they did not bring the necessary acting range to cover all of that. Pity, but I am rooting for them to approve over time. I would like to see them in another project with different dynamics.
Also the writing was Not Really Good.
Sexy scenes were enjoyable though.
Absolute worst was the audio. What the hell was wrong with the mics? They were so sensitive, you could always hear when two were hugging. Honestly, really annoying.
In conclusion: Do you know that fanfiction you know is kind of terribly written, but you keep on reading cause somehow it keeps hitting the right feelings? It's this but in a series format.

Very enjoyable
Semantic Error is a well produced KBL with sweetness and humor. Plot is a little bit questionable at some point and I do believe the ending (which is different from the original material) was written a bit poorly, but I would love to see improving in a season 2.Acting was alright, nothing world changing, sometimes a bit stiff but not bothersome.
The leads seem to have good chemistry, though from what I've seen, their chemistry off screen is even better. Would love to see that as well in a s2.
Overall enjoyable, fun watch that I would recommend.
