This was downright entertaining, the fights and their coming closer together was very entertaining and very charming to see. I recommend this to comedy and romance lovers. I liked the siblings relationship, especially the flirting the FL and another character did, just for no other reason than to piss off the ML. I also liked the ML's family who were so nice and 100% accepting of the FL, very rare given the circumstances under which she entered their family. I like how the family, including the ML never mistrusted her or mistreated her. They let her character speak for itself and were open hearted towards her. The servant, especially Paan and Ongat were awesome to see, and I also liked Taiwan and Pink's friendship. This was a lovely, funny lakorn.
The only bad thing about it was the last three or four episodes. Like a typical lakorn the last few episodes with kind of downhill, but the villain got their just desserts which was not the typical in a thai lakorn.
What also was not typical what is that ML never ever cheated on FL not even emotionally. I recommend this drama.

The movie wasn't that memorable, though it was entertaining. The ending was happy but didn't really strinke a chord with me - maybe cause I like realistic endings. The whole movie had a realisti vibe so the ending kind of threw me off, even though I do like happy endings myself.
Would I rewatch it? Not particularly, though it was fun. I don't really re watch anything.
The Casting was great, the music was... meh, it was music. But the story... it was cool. if you're looking for a prince is saved my beauty, this is for you hahah.

It did have a happy ending if anyone wants to know.
For Chinese drama, I go for the romance and not the plot so please take this review with a grain of salt. This drama was about a damsel in distress (spunky though) with a protective lover. The script made her seem incompetent to give him the chance to be the hero and to be more manly in front of her. But he was devoted from beginning to end so I enjoyed all the examples of that. Honestly, this was one of the best romance I've seen in a while (until Ep 30 and beyond ep 37), but the plot was horrible. Lucky thing I wasn't in it for the plot. Warning: Possessive male lead who's so obsessive, he's only good in a fiction and never in real life. Which I love.
Acting: Wonderful acting by all. All, I tell you. The supporting cast gave you feels - whether you hated them or loved them, they made you feel something.
Music - Didn't really notice... except for a few 1930s music performed in the show. Those were good.
Rewatch: Yes, I will rewatch the meeting scene, and various romance scenes.

Don't expect any big commotions or misunderstandings or betrayals from Wonderful Spring. It starts with Ying Er as a nice girl entering a new city and being mistaken for a shipping conglomerate's daughter. She meets Kingone Wan's character, Xin Yu and through a series of bickering moments, fall in love. Xin Yu's mother was a joy to watch. She's the first mother-in-law in any drama that takes the side of the lead girl whole heartedly. She fought circumstances and situations that threatened Miu Miu, Xin Yu's mother stood up and fought for her right to the very end of the drama, just like a real mom. There was very little misunderstanding in this drama because the leads here had trust and truth in each other at all times.
So the annoying parts and characters - Xin Yu's sister was entitled and spoiled and looked too young. She was too immature for my taste. She also had the idea that if she liked a guy then that guy should like her back, no matter his choices. She also betrayed her family (nothing big) on numerous occasions for a guy who was someone else's boyfriend and who didn't want her. I wished someone would give her a slap down or quarrel with her and make her understand how selfish she was. Alas, no character growth for her.
Wu Tong, Miu Miu's best friend, I got annoyed with her too. I kept talking to her through the screen and telling her to dump her bf because the guy is spineless and can't tell another girl no when she chases him. You can do better Wu Tong.
There were other stuff, but those are what I remember. The story dragged a little. Actually, the secondary characters got a little too much screen time. Yes, it was interesting, but sometimes it was boring. The scenes between the leads were never boring though. Kingone Wang and Ying Er have a really good relationship that shows in their acting.
The acting was good, nothing to complain about. The sister though, was a bad, annoying, overacting - innocent, weirdo. That's all.
I liked the theme songs too.

The only thing interesting was the beginning. The first half was good, kept me watching. However, after the return of a certain character, the already flat story devolved from there. This story is only marketed as a romance. How can I believe he loves the main character when he's wishy washy and was willing to marry someone else no matter how bad she hurt him. (That's not a spoiler. In the synopsis, it mentions he's getting married). Also, the main character's feelings feel like a young girl's infatuation. Plus all the lies... I honestly couldn't suspend my disbelief to properly watch this.
It's not as bad as 80% of Thai dramas out there, though, so give it a try if you like.

I read the manga many years ago but seeing it on screen was entirely different. The manga flowed well and made it's dubious content likeable. This movie however... I was mortified at some points. And not because of the teacher-student thing.
The script was jerky in places. The story did not flow, and neither did their emotions. I could not believe they loved each other and were not temporarily infatuated. I couldn't even believe the infatuation on Sensei's part. I think that must be blamed on the script they were given, because their acting were good. I laughed my way through this but it had good entertainment value.
And at some parts, I kept yelling at her to run away from this guy. It seemed too much like he was taking advantage of a socially inept girl. This could have been done in a better way. My Rainy Days was much better.
The cast were appropriate. Especially Yamashita Tohiro. The music was so-so. Rewatch value is a maybe for me. It was good while it lasted.
***Update: This film grows on you. I've actually rewatched it, and it's not so bad the 2nd time. It's actually lovable fluff if you suspend your disbelief and just go with the flow. The cuteness is overloaded. I liked it much better this time around. Try it.

My first point, I did some research before watching and thought it would be romantic. I read lots on how the male lead loved deeply and showed it. But after 7 episodes with little to no romance, I gave into boredom and dropped it. My reason is that I was looking for something as romantic after watching" Lan Ling Wang" and this just wasn't it.
The other thing that irritated me was the amount of screen time Qin Xiang got. At first, I was curious and intrigued. But it's quite obvious she's up to no good. She got irritating fast with the way she tried to manipulate Xin Ju and Xin Ju let her. I liked Xin Ju because we saw her strength as a woman and an entrepreneur, but watching her interact with Qin Xiang became frustrating fast. Also, for a smart girl, she made stupid decisions that got her into trouble and required a man to save her. This is different to the damsel in distress that was Xu Wu in PLL because Xu Wu never pretended to be worldly or anything more than innocent.
Next thing ... a girl from the desert, being raised by wolves learns rather fast in six months!!! She must have gotten the best tutors in the land. Also, her fighting scenes - she learned that in the desert with which martial arts master???
The palace stuff takes up too much screen time and is too boring. Qin Xiang takes up too much screen time and it's like 1 scene repeated. Plus I hated her on sight.
Acting - all Ie got to say is it's hard to believe someone with the lanky figure like Eddie Peng was a general in the army. How did he survive so long? And someone with the buff, strong figure of Hu Ge was the sickly one. They did not suit their rolls physically.
Music was forgettable and sounded like it came out of the 60's.
Rewatch... since I dropped this at Ep 7 while waiting for anything interesting to happen, Hell No.
And that's my review. I apologise if I offended any of the numerous fans of this drama. Not my cup of tea.

Rewatch value is a definite "not at all".
The acting was bad for a thai drama too. Nothing else is worth mentioning.

The casting was well done. Especially Cheng Yuan, His handsomeness made me watch till the end.
The music was okay, but the dark theme sound at the beginning of the episodes kind of got to me - it became annoying.
The story - I watched for the main leads, but their roles seemed almost secondary to the bigger picture. There wasn't enough romance to really hold me. I skipped through this. Rewatch value - Definitely, when it's fully subbed. Wish I knew Chinese.

I Love light, fluffy romance, so this one should have been right up my alley. However, it lacks something I can't define. I was kind of bored but intellectually, I acknowledge that this story is interesting. I'll just put it down to my preference of not liking robots in fiction. That's just my personal thhing. I don;t like people falling for robots and maybe he didn't but he spent a large part of the series thinking that he did. I feel weird about that. Idk.
Anyway, it was nice, just not great. Good for a filler, light, romance.

I think I know now why Joo Won doesn't mix romance and action in his works. This was a flop and he learned from it. But what I keep lamenting is the bad bad bad waste of potential. The writer, the produce, hell, even the female lead - none of it was up to standard.
It's called 7th Grade Civil Servant for a reason - they all behave like they're in 7th Grade at high school.
The acting was awesome. but the material the actors had to work with was nothing much. I was so disappointed and it hurts me to say this about Joo Won's drama. I like chaebol romances and I like spy investigation stories. I like where there is plenty romance in the investigation stories. But this was a mess. Oh, the potential!!!!!!
I really thought they could have done with Han Pil Hoon what they did with Lee Jae Ha in "King 2 Hearts" - the playboy grows into a man who is able and smart enough to run rings around all the bad guys. He's playful ans sweet, but dangerous. Joo Won also approaches romance like Lee Seung Gi so I could see how 7th Grade could have been great. It falls short and it's bothering me too much.

The side characters annoyed me so much. They were given more screen time and more story than our leads. Why the hell should I care about some people from some fictional county that has nothing to do with the leads? If one of the leads were from that country, or lived in that country, or worked for that country, or had some story related to that country, then sure. But they didn't. Being a detached spy for that country doesn't count because it's not a personal story. Why the hell did we bother about the country?
Hated the side characters, and since they seemed like the main characters most of the time, I hated the show. Got nothing to say about the main leads. They were barely here. They did have some lovely bickering and sweet moments though.
Skip this. Don't waste your time.
On the plus side, there was no rape by our MML.

Overall, Great acted very nice as did the female lead. I liked their acting. I liked the mischievous girl / strict cop angle. That was fun to watch. The cop warning his wife not to do anything illegal when she leaves the house lol.
What I didn't like is the nong sao, but I understand there must be a cray b*a*ch in a lakorn. She is it. Her husband also is the male version lol. Match made in heaven.
There were some things that did not wrap up very well, or were ignored, but I can live with that. Great and his FL as well as the 2nd leads, made this nice to watch. The crime parts were good too. The criminals and "bad people" were actually the best actors here. I also liked the supporting village people. They really cared for their neighbours, despite inside fighting. That was endearing to see.
I would recommend this.

The romance is awesome, if a little cringeworthy. I loved all the cringy bits as that is what adds the ultimate fluff to this sweet romance story.
The screenwriter is the author of the novel, so I can safely say that what is not in the book, is in the drama and what is not in the drama, is in the book. One story on two mediums... equals more of this cute story for us to see and obsess over. In the novel, God Gun in a bigger and older con-artist. It's a good thing he wasn't that all over Squiddy in the drama, because that wouldn't go over so well onscreen (though I'd love to see those moments!) This speaks of the author's skill of writing and turning her novel into a screenplay fit for TV. Awesome job!

If you're looking for high ups and downs and or drama after drama after drama, this isn't for you. My Lovely Girl was smooth sailing through romantic waters with little or no trouble. Just the way I love my romance stories. The focus was on the relationship between Yoon Se Na and Lee Hyun Wook. The alternate title was "She's Too Lovely for Me" and all 16 episodes reiterate the struggle Hyun Wook feels that he loves her so much but he's not worthy of her. There was really nothing to take away from that focus so I guess some people would find it boring. I didn't. I didn't skip even a second of it. It was sweet and fluffy and full of romantic moments.
The secondary characters were also interesting for me. I liked Se Na's friend and her bf especially. They were supportive and concerned even while she couldn't contribute much to their household. True friends. L's character was also interesting and sweet. The only thing with L is that I wanted to see the other guys from his ex-band, I wanted to see how they feel now that he outstripped them. Cool L.
I liked everybody in this show. It really was enjoyable and sweet for me.
As I said, if you're looking for waves, and for spikes in emotion, don't look here. If you're just cruising for a straightforward romance more reminiscent of real life, then this is it.
The make lead was protective and sweet to the female lead. He was also much older and very caring. I loved it. Rain did a great job. I never cared for Rain much before this - thought his image was too hyped and I hated Full House because it lacked romance. After watching My Lovely Girl, I can now say I'm a Rain fan. His voice is so smooth heavy. Plus, his character pulled me in. I'm definitely going to watch "Please Come Back Mister" for Rain.
Music: I liked the score very much. It wasn't too memorable, but it suited the scenes it was played in.
Rewatch : Yeah, it's sweet and I like sweet.
Story: The only thing was the somewhat abrupt ending but honestly, I thought they could have ended it in ep 14 with one of the confession/ romantic moments. Everything was said and problems were solved. So by ep 16 at the end, there was nothing left to say to tie anything up since it had all been done before. With that in mind, it wasn't so sudden. Story was lovely. I wouldn't change anything.
In fact, I want more like it.
