Older , career focused fl and younger a bit of a free spirit ml fall in love but they both tend to react a bit dramatically. In both families the sibling of the ml is hindering the romance and in both drama the mcs' families arent much in favour of the relationship and they aren't afraid of showing that creating lots of havoc. Now while the chemistry was very apparent on Something in The Rain it feels lacking in Now We Are Breaking Up. Also in both drama instead of a climax of emotions and tension the endings feel underwhelming.

Seemingly they dont have much in common apart from the fact that both drama were very anticipated by the audience (due to the actors' participating) only for the majority to watch their expectations crash and burn.

Through thick and thin, through various hardships and struggles you see a beautiful yet heartbreaking and flawed romance. The difference of the two drama lies on the choices of our main characters and how they deal with the terminal illness.
